#39. Girl Gone Wild (MDNA)The best single (so far? Still hoping for an "I'm Addicted" or "I Don't Give A" release. ) from MDNA, by far. A shame it flopped, although that was to be expected when all the promo went to the much worse (I still enjoy it, though) song, "Give Me All Your Luvin'." The music video is pretty good. Who doesn't love hot guys in their music videos? good descent song but amazing vintage M video.

"Papa Don't Preach" is pretty classic and definitely a favorite of mine. I just love the strings on it. I admit never caught onto the subject matter of the song until I was a teen.. oops. There have been some awful covers of this lmao.

"Papa Don't Preach" should be higher. So much higher.
Tomorrow: "La Isla Bonita".

#14. La Isla Bonita (True Blue)I think everyone was right. But I think I might have included all the song on my list so freebie. Oops. A great song. I know now the English meaning of "La Isla Bonita" thanks to getmyrocksoff91. I still don't know your real name, or I've forgotten it. :'( I love this song. She talks about San Pedro, which is a city in California that I lived in for a couple years when I was pretty young. I know it's not the place she's talking about but still. Apparently the song was originally offered to Michael Jackson for his Bad album, but he turned it down. I'm glad because I'm sure this version would be way better than his would have been. Tomorrow is another surprise song.

Bow, this is also one of my fav Madonna singles ever. Also, doesn't it sound like she's saying "tropic Coney Island breeze"? literally the only song I like from that album besides "La Isla Bonita", who mad? Me, because 'Papa Don't Preach' is amazing >:( The fact that both of these posts omit "Live To Tell" is disgusting.

#13. Like a Prayer (Like a Prayer)*Cue the groaning that this is too low* You know what, fu ck you I have my own opinions. Gdiaf. Anyways this is a great song. I just don't absolutely love it like most other people seem to. She has plenty other singles that I definitely love more. Tomorrow is another surprise. It will probably be a shock to see this high, but not too much of a shock. A later song will probably be more shocking to be so high.

I'm pretty much content w/this position. I love the song, but not as much as some of her others. I don't expect this song to top fanmade countdowns or lists, however, I do expect this to place higher than her other material on critically acclaimed lists, all time lists & what not.
& I have yet to see my favorite song from her. Lol. I still have hope it'll be on here, perhaps one of your surprises ;)

"La Isla Bonita" - good though I wouldn't have it this high. "Like A Prayer" - I love it but I wouldn't have it ridiculously high either. #13 sounds good.
Tomorrow: "Give Me All Your Luvin'".

MADONNA! I’ve been practically in love with her since I was a kid lol, awesome idea for a list What It Feels Like For A Girl is SOOOO underrated! Great song even if the video is weird as shit. Meh at Girl Gone Wild Didn’t like Drowned World at first but now I love it! Definitely a grower. She looks beautiful in the video though. I loved her hair style during the ROL era. EVERYBODY! Another underrated one. Burning Up is one of my favorite 80’s songs from her. DEEPER AND DEEPER! Love it. One of her best songs ever. Beautiful Stranger is a great song with a funny video lol love Austin Powers. I was completely psycho over “Don’t Tell Me” back in 2001. It was the first song I downloaded illegally. Still love it Nothing Really Matters is a great song but it had a VERY weird video lol OMG THE POWER OF GOODBYE. Sooo underrated. One of my favorites from her! Take A Bow is my second favorite song from her after Frozen! She looked sooooo gorgeous in the video too Rain is an amazing song! MEH AT YOU NOT BEING INTO EROTICA AND BEDTIME STORIES. I always liked Live To Tell but I actually like it more now than I did when I was a kid. LMAO at ‘dreaded album Hard Candy’. Miles Away is a great song. Reminds me of something from ROL or Music. Get Together is a great song but Hung Up and Jump are better. 4 MINUTES! Even though I hated the idea of her collaborating with Timbaland it definitely worked with this song. I loved it FROZEN! BEST MADONNA SONG EVERRRR Lita Ford loves the video for this! And of course so do I. Revolver? Guuuurl… Give It To Me got old quick for me. Love Jump! HOLLYWOOD! My first #1 when my chart went online. Still love it. Sorry is good but like GI2M it got old quick for me. Born This Way Express Yourself is actually the first Madonna song I ever heard. I remember seeing the video for the first time when I was a kid, and really I had no business watching that video as a kid but meh , and I just loved all her different outfits and I thought the song was catchy it was love at first sight and that is when my love for Madge began Love Cherish! Open Your Heart is my favorite True Blue single … Papa Don’t Preach is my second La Isla Bonita: a Madonna song so good even my Dad, who hates pop music, likes it. LIKE A PRAYER! Wish it was top 10. Classic song. …PHEW finally caught up Great list so far!

#12. Music (Music)I love this song. It's one of the (very) few songs of Madonna's from the 2000s (even 2010s) that I heard on the radio. I've heard maybe 5 songs of hers on the radio since 2000. New songs, I mean. A great song, one I really love. The production is amazing, has some of the left/right ear effects that I love, and has some crazy sounds that are fun to try to recreate using your voice, like the part that goes "dldldldldl" over and over, you know what I mean? A lot of the songs are going to be surprises from now on. Including tomorrow.

You could NOT get away from this song back in 2000. It was everywhere, VH1, MTV, the radio, the Disney cruise I went on around the time this was out , etc. I love it but I preferred DTM and WIFLFAG actually.

The part (in the video) that starts at 1:04, it goes steady note, then dldldldl, slightly higher steady note, dldldldl, slightly higher note, dldldl, etc. Idk what you call that though. And then the dldldldl effect continues on the 3rd beat of the measure in various spots throughout the rest of the song.

Anywho...."Music" is great and I literally remember it being played all over the place when it was released. The video is so perfect for the song and classic really.

I didn't think people would consider this one of her best songs. Or maybe you're just thinking of how I would personally order things.
