It does give her the title of being the first song to hit #1 that was not a single in the US. She's also the first British artist to score two #1s.

Week two into the top 40 and things are heating up fast. In fact, a top 50 may be more practical at this moment! FOUR songs were within less than a point of being in the top 40! (One of the drop outs included.) "Figure 8" continues its reign and has a HUGE amount of points. "Just Give Me a Reason" continues to gain on it, though. Both songs have a big lead over thre number three song, which is Carly's "Tonight I'm Getting Over You," which rockets from number ten. Below that is "Heart Attack," booming to number four, and rounding out the top five is a HUGE leap from Emeli Sandé's "Next to Me"! It jumps from number 15 to number five. Below that, Taylor Swift continues to run away with the record of longest stay in the top ten with "I Knew You Were Trouble." MKTO's "Thank You" enters the top ten at number ten. Also reaching new peaks this week are "My Songs Know...," "Restless Heart," "Madness," "22," "With Ur Love," "I Love It," which is the chart's biggest gainer seeing a near 5 point jump from 30 to 19, "Thrift Shop," "Glow In the Dark," "Almost Home," "What You've Done to Me," "Cups," "Let It Roll," and "Demons." Pretty sure that's a record. The chart sees five debuts this week, the highest coming from Kerli's "Sugar," an album track from her new Utopia EP, at number 34. Ke$ha's "Last Goodbye" enters at 36. It's another album track that I've recently been getting into. With still no announcement of a third single and "C'mon" flying off my chart (ouch!), I might just pretend it's the third single and roll with it. ;) The other three debuts come from 38-40. Natalia Kill's newest lead single, "Problem," Zedd and Foxes' "Clarity," and finally an album track from Kacey Musgraves' Same Trailer Different Park album, "Follow Your Arrow." The debuts kick out fellow Kacey song, "Blowin' Smoke," Kelly's "Don't Rush," and the old Bruno and Ke$ha tracks that re-entered last week due to the expansion to a top 40.

This was quite a strange week for my chart. First off, we got a new number one hit as P!nk and Nate Ruess finally take the top spot from Ellie Goulding. With that, P!nk becomes the first artist to score three number ones on my chart as well as three number ones from one album! "Just Give Me a Reason" also takes the record for longest climb to number one as it reaches the position in its 15th week, though part of that is due to the fact that it charted when the album first came out. "Heart Attack" slips its way into the top three this week as well. The top five looks pretty normal with Carly slipping to number four and Emeli remaining at number five. Outside the top five, though, things get hectic and crazy. I really did not get a chance to listen to as much music as I normally would this week, and the chart shows that. Some songs see huge jumps. "I Love It" rockets 19 to 6 and "My Songs Know" rockets 12 to 7. Though, the reason for their big jumps is due to the fact that the songs in front of them fell. "I Love It" saw a big increase in points and would have likely jumped a few positions anyway, but "My Songs Know" actually has the same amount of points this week as last week, but jumps 5 positions! Rihanna's "Stay" and MKTO's "Thank You" both move up to new peaks this week despite losing points. Other songs that gained new peaks this week are "Restless Heart," "With Ur Love," "What About Us," "Sugar," "Clarity," "Last Goodbye," and "Follow You Arrow." "Blowin' Smoke" also reaches a new peak after re-entering this week. The chart also sees three debuts. The lowest debut comes from The Band Perry's new single, "Done.," at number 40. Above it at number 35, The Neighbourhood see their first chart entry with "Sweater Weather." The final debut, coming in at 29, is the brand new, just-released-this-week, song, "Here's to Never Growing Up" by Avril Lavigne. Avril has only seen two entries beforehand with "Wish You Were Here" and "Goodbye." Both peaked at number 17, but both has hinderances. "Wish You Were Here" peaked way before the chart even debuted. "Goodbye" has most of its run cut off by the original methodology and only debuted when the new methodology set in and the chart extended itself to a top 30. Both only spent two weeks on the chart. "Here's to Never" looks to finally be her first big hit on the chart. Now, I know what you're thinking, Where's Selena?! I wondered that myself. Turns out, she finished the week with 9.1 points. Poor Selena. Two weeks ago, that would've put her in the upper 30s. It's a VERY competitive chart right now. In fact, "Demons" was knocked off the chart this week despite not losing very many points.

Next week's chart will be delayed. Prom is on Saturday and will extend to the early hours of Sunday morning. Then, Sunday morning, I leave for state FBLA competition and won't be around a computer to post the chart until... Tuesday, April 23rd. I have already made plans to save all the data Sunday before I leave to be able to make the chart off of the correct data, so even though it will be delayed, it will be correct. Also, note that the May 12th chart will also be delayed due to my high school graduation! Though, it will be delayed only one day.

It is a flawless top 5, isn't it? And, yes, "I Knew You Were Trouble." continues to slay as it logs its 22nd week in the top ten. This is sadly probably it's last week in the top 1/4th of the chart, but what a legacy it left behind. It'll be a while before another hit comes along that's strong enough to top that record.

After a two-day delay, the top 40 is here! P!nk remains on top for a second week with "Just Give Me a Reason" and scores HUGE points and a MASSIVE point lead over the number two song, "Figure 8." "Just Give Me a Reason" scores the HIGHEST number of points in week so far in 2013. However, another song is hot on its trail. Jumping three spots from number six to number three in only its fourth week on the chart is "I Love It," with continues to see huge point increases. Below "I Love It" is quite the battle between "Heart Attack," "Tonight I'm Getting Over You," and "Next to Me." All three songs look to fight in the 4-6 range in the coming week, possibly moving up to the 3-5 range as "Figure 8" falls below them. Two songs enter the top ten this week. Matt Hires' "Restless Heart" jump two spots from 11 to nine. Taylor Swift's "I Knew You Were Trouble." finally falls out of the top ten, HOWEVER Taylor Swift is not missing from said top ten. Jumping from sixteen to ten is Taylor's "22." There has been no Taylor Swift-less top ten since the August 26, 2012! :o The 11-20 range sees a bunch of huge increases due to the massive point losses of several songs. "What About Us" shoots up to number 11, "With Ur Love" rockets to 12, "Almost Home" zooms to 15, and "Sugar" spices its way to number 16. Other songs reaching new peaks are "Clarity" at 22, "Cups" at 25, "What You've Done to Me" at 26, "Done.," which zooms 40 to 28, and "Last Goodbye" at 29. Oddly enough, Avril's big debut, "Here's to Never Growing Up," falls one spots this week. I'm still not sure how that happened. Below Avril, will.i.am and Justin Bieber lead the big pack of debuts at 31. Also debuting is Selena Gomez's "Come & Get It" at 34, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "Can't Hold Us" at 35, and Timeflies' "I Choose U" at 37. They knock out "Girl on Fire," "Let It Roll," "Follow Your Arrow," and "Try."

P!nk marks her third week at number one with "Just Give Me a Reason," and by doing so, earns her longest running number one. "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" lasted for two weeks in between the juggernaut "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" and "Try" lasted for one week in between the two juggernauts "Die Young" and "I Knew You Were Trouble." Now P!nk seems to be getting a turn as a juggernaut as "Reason" has a massive lead over the number two song, "Heart Attack," which gains a new peak this week. 6.75 points separate "Just Give Me a Reason" from "Heart Attack," making it the biggest gap between numbers one and two ever. Even when dating back to the top 25 days! As Demi Lovato secures her first top two hit, Carly rises back into the top three with "Tonight I'm Getting Over You." The past number one, "Figure 8," slips from two to four. Icona Pop's "I Love It" reaches the monthly mark, meaning that its monthly plays fall under the rolling effect, which knocked it down to number five. Will it gain enough strength to make it back to the top three or even number one? Six through nine remain motionless, but we do finally see a Taylor Swift-less top ten as "22" drops to number 12 and the number ten position is overtaken by Avril Lavigne's latest, "Here's to Never Growing Up," which explodes 30 to ten after weirdly falling one position last week. Also exploding this week are Selena Gomez's "Come & Get It" from 34 to 15 and Timeflies' "I Choose U" from 37 to 20. Not very many songs receive new peaks this week due to the state FBLA competition earlier this week killing a lot of song's points. However, aside from the three exploders, "Cups" sees a new peak at number 17, "What You've Done to Me" at 22, "Can't Hold Us" at 31, and "Problem" at 36. It should be noted, though, that "Glow in the Dark," which looked to be dying, shot back up to its original peak at number 21! The chart sees only one re-entry this week as "Let It Roll" bounces back in at number 40. This knocks out the top four Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton hit, "Just a Fool."

I'm really getting into "Heart Attack" again, which might be enough to push it to #1, but "Just Give Me a Reason" is just so strong right now! "I Love It" will definitely rebound. It hit the monthly rolling effect this week. Usually that doesn't affect a song too much, but "I Love It" was gaining so much from the beginning that it was hit harder than usual. The Diet Coke commercial has revamped my interest in "22," so it will probably surge back into the top ten soon. "Can't Hold Us" is definitely gaining traction with me. It looks to be a pretty massive hit for me. "Madness" is about done. It has an amazing run, though. Had my chart been extended to a top 40 since the beginning of the year, "Madness" would have been charting since late January. "Clarity" kind of hit a snag with me in interest, but not to worry. I'll probably hear it on shuffle in the car soon and I'll be in love with it again. It's the type of song that does that to me. ;)
