Quite a sad looking week. While the chart sees a brand new number one from Miley Cyrus' "We Can't Stop," nearly every song sees a loss in points. In fact, only two songs increased in points this week: 78violet's "Hothouse" and Brett Eldredge's "Don't Ya." "Hothouse" takes this week's honor of biggest increase. Biggest decrease of the week goes to last week's number one hit, "Crazy Kids," which loses over 4 points, though plenty of songs lost a large amount of points this week. It was sort of a weird week. Either I was busy with work, busy setting up my birthday party, or was in the mood to listen to old music. I love my cats so much. Gleba was Emily's first word. I'm currently drinking Big K brand's Dr. K. As "We Can't Stop" takes number one, it becomes the chart's 25th number one hit! It's also Miley's first. Below the new number one, not much is happening. "Blurred Lines" leapfrogs "Treasure" to take number four, "Hothouse" zooms up to number six, and "I Need Your Love" slides up to number ten, meaning there were two new top ten entries. They knock out "Come & Get It" and "Made In the USA." Other song reaching new peaks this week are "The Way" up 16 to 13, "Royals" up 22 to 16, "Wild" up 26 to 23, and "Don't Ya" up 38 to 32. The chart also sees no new entries this week, so there are no drop outs! Drop Out Runs: none Newly Certified This Week: See all certifications here!

• "Crazy Kids" falls to #2. I'm not so into "We Can't Stop" yet. • "Safe and Sound" and "Blurred Lines" jump. • "I Need Your Love" is Top 10! • "Royals" climbs :) • "Acapella" and "The Phoenix" hold at their same spot, as well as "Dance With Me Tonight" and "Clarity". • "Can't Hold Us" rebounds. • The two Taylor Swift tracks fall

Miley sinks in a second week at number one with "We Can't Stop" while Capital Cities creep up one more spot to number two with "Safe and Sound." Will they topple over Miley next week? Or will Lorde completely blow the competition away? Speaking of which, "Royals" leaps ten spots from 16 to 6 earning this week's point gainer award. As far as position wise, two songs tie this week by increasing 11 positions: Karmin's "Acapella" shooting up to number seven, and Taylor Swift's "Everything Has Changed" rocketing up to number 25. Taylor's other current single, "Red" increases nine spots right behind it up to number 26. "Red" is close to outpeaking its original peak of 22 back as an album track. It should also be noted that Anna Kendrick once again creeps into the top ten with "Cups" at number nine. The song has spent 19 weeks inside the top 40. It's longevity is incredible! The three new (or renew) top ten entries kick out Calvin Harris' "I Need Your Love," slipping to 11, 78violet's "Hothouse," which tumbles six to 12 after it hit the one-month rolling effect today, and Timeflies' "I Choose U," which falls to number 19. Almost as cool as "Cups"'s increase is "Sweater Weather," which zooms 22 to 14 this week matching its original peak for a THIRD TIME! That is some amazing longevity for a song that hasn't reached the top ten. Possibly some of the best longevity for a non-top ten hit since Demi Lovato's "Give Your Heart a Break" before it finally broke in to the top ten only to peak at number seven. Other songs reaching new peaks this week are "Tie It Up" at 17, "Demons" at 20 (which is another amazing feat, finally reaching the top 20 after a whopping 16 weeks), "Wild" at 22, and "Don't Ya" at 27. The chart also sees one new entry from Zendaya's "Replay" at number 35. It kicks out Miranda Lambert's "Mama's Broken Heart." Next week will be very interesting with the debut of Katy Perry's "Roar." The chart also has many songs waiting just outside the top 40, including "True Love," "Wake Me Up!," and "American Girl," all of which were less than 2 points from the chart this week. OMG I absolutely love your chart, no song seems like it is in the wrong place, that shows how good of a chart you have. :) Where is Wake Me Up, did you forget to chart it like I did last week, or do you need to wake yourself up and chart it?

Where is Wake Me Up, did you forget to chart it like I did last week, or do you need to wake yourself up and chart it? Next week will be very interesting with the debut of Katy Perry's "Roar." The chart also has many songs waiting just outside the top 40, including "True Love," "Wake Me Up!," and "American Girl," all of which were less than 2 points from the chart this week.

Sorry about that, but Sunday night was my college move in day! Wow! I can't believe I'm already in college! My week has been extremely busy, but that will be included in next week's (well... tomorrow's, lol) write-up. This week, Miley remains at number one for a third week while "Safe and Sound" gets blocked yet again. Unfortunately for Capital Cities, it looks like they'll be blocked from number one as Lorde's "Royals" rockets up from six to three and looks to be the next (very strong) number one. The rest of the top five remains stable. In the rest of the top ten, Maroon 5 match their original peak of number seven with "Love Somebody" while Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding re-enter the top ten at a new peak of number eight with "I Need Your Love." Demi Lovato also re-enters the top ten with "Made in the USA" at number ten, though it's original peak is number nine. Will it reach a new peak soon? The two songs kicked out of the top ten are Anna Kendrick's "Cups" (again) and Paramore's "Still Into You." This week's chart saw three nice jumps with songs reaching new peaks: Kelly Clarkson's "Tie It Up" up 17 to 11, Jessie J's "Wild" up 22 to 13, and Olly Murs' "Dance with Me Tonight" up 21 to 15. The title for biggest point increase, though, goes to "Royals" yet again. A clear indication that it's headed straight for number one. The week's biggest decrease in points goes to The Neighbourhood's "Sweater Weather," which is odd since last week it jumped 22 to its original peak of 14, only to fall back down to 23 this week. Weird. Other songs reaching new peaks this week include "Everything Has Changed" at 21 ("Red" matches its original peak of 22 as an album track), "Don't Ya" at 26, and "Replay" at 31. A few weird jumps from "I Love It" and "Heart Attack," both past the 20-week mark, and I really have no reason for that. I just kind of got back into them again this week. The chart also sees three debuts: P!nk's "True Love," with help from Lilly Allen, credited as Lily Rose Cooper, comes in at 30, Bonnie McKee's "American Girl" at 34, and Avicii's "Wake Me Up!" at 39. This is Lily Allen/Rose Cooper's, Bonnie McKee's, and Avicii's first chart entries. (Though, note that Lily Allen would have charted with several tracks had this chart started years before it actually did.) This marks P!nk's fifth chart entry after three number one smashes: "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)," "Try," and "Just Give Me a Reason," and an album track, "Run." The three debuts kick off "Here's to Never Growing Up," "Get Lucky," and "Wildest Moments," which has potential to re-enter if released to pop soon. Drop Out Runs: Avril Lavigne - Here's to Never Growing Up 03 18 29-30-10-5-5-6-5-5-5-3-3-8-12-29-33-36-37-40Daft Punk - Get Lucky (feat. Temporarily down until next week. This Week's Flashback Tunes: 1 Year Ago1 - Carrie Underwood - Blown Away 2 - Katy Perry - Wide Awake 3 - Flo Rida - Whistle DE 17 - Taylor Swift - We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together DE 23 - Karmin - Hello DE 30 - Eli Young Band - Even If It Breaks Your Heart Dropouts: Casey Abrams - Get Out (#24); Kelly Clarkson - Dark Side (#17); Kerli - Zero Gravity (#9)

Majid Jordan) Lana Del Rey - Summertime Sadness (Cedric Gervais Remix) (feat. Cedric Gervais) Miley Cyrus - Wrecking Ball *Songs that I've added to my iPod. What an incredible week! Last Sunday I moved into college (explaining last week's late chart) and the entire week consisted of band practice and freshman orientation. With a busy week, that led to many songs losing points this week, but surprisingly, the chart remains relatively stable as far as movements go. Miley remains at number one for a fourth week with "We Can't Stop," but Lorde's "Royals" shift up to number two and could take number one as early as next week! Shockingly, Robin Thicke also increases this week to a new peak of number three with "Blurred Lines." Chalk up another chart to which that song won't die in! The rest of the top ten is pretty quiet. "Safe and Sounds" slips to number four while five through seven remain the same. "Acapella" shifts up to number eight and "I Need Your Love" slips to number nine. "Cups," on its 22nd week, re-enters the top ten at number ten for the second time, meaning that it's now had three separate runs in the top ten! It won't refuse to die! "Cups" pushes out "Made in the USA," which also re-entered the top ten at number ten last week. Songs reaching new peaks outside the top ten include: "Everything Has Changed" up 21 to 15, "Red" up 22 to 19, "Replay" up 31 to 27, "True Love" up 30 to 29, and "Wake Me Up!" up 39 to 32. The chart's biggest increase in points is a tie between "Everything Has Changed" and "Wake Me Up!," both up 0.35 points. The biggest decrease in points is "Safe and Sound," losing 2.35 points. The chart also sees one debut: the latest lead single from Katy Perry, "Roar," debuts at number 40. It kicks out the former chart smash, "My Songs Know What You Did In the Dark (Light Em Up)." Drop Out Runs: Fall Out Boy - My Songs Know What You Did In the Dark (Light Em Up) 03 25 27-21-23-19-14-12-7-7-7-6-6-4-3-4-7-10-17-24-30-32-35-39-38-39-40Newly Certified This Week: See all certifications here!

True Love only up 1 though. It should definitely end up top 20 eventually. I'm not sure about top 10. Like, really! It's doing so well right now for a song that made one week at #1 and was a pretty week #1 as well. "Slow Down" is starting to grow on me too, so we'll see what happens with it.

Well, we don't really listen to the same music. Lol. Whenever my computer gets back up, I may start a weekly chart.
'Treasure' is the only song I really like/know of off hand, but I'm burned out of it now, TBQH.

As for where I've been, like you, I have been moving in to my dorm and getting ready for college, etc. I try to comment on everyone's charts but I often run out of time. I will try to show up here more as I really like the songs you are charting. You should check mine out sometime though, we have many similar charting songs. Again, fantastic chart. :)

Holy crap! You only left out "Hothouse" and "Replay"! That's amazing! Anyway, congrats on going to college! I will definitely be checking out your chart in the future if you like 38/40 of mine!
(And yes, check out "Hothouse"!)
