The GIF shows P!nk and Nate celebrating. Why? Well, they notch a fourth week at number one on my chart! (And a third on top of the Hot 100, btw.) However, their lead shrinks this week as the song falls again in points and "Heart Attack" leaps in points. Will Demi Lovato overtake the dynamic duo next week? Icona Pop's "I Love It" also resurges back into the top three and Avril Lavigne's "Here's to Never Growing Up" rockets to number five. Carly Rae Jepsen slips to number four. Fall Out Boy's "My Songs Know..." reaches a new peak of number six as they also debut with "The Phoenix" at number 40. Selena Gomez also zooms into the top ten at number eight and Taylor Swift's "22" jumps back inside the top ten as well at number nine. Also reaching new peaks this week are "I Choose U" at 14, "Can't Hold Us," which bulldozes its way from 31 to 16, "Clarity" at 19, "Done." at 27, and "Sweater Weather" at 31. Other than "The Phoenix," the chart sees three other debuts. Leading the pack at 24 is Paramore's "Still Into You." At 26 is Miranda Lambert's "Mama's Broken Heart." (On a side note, 25-27 is all country music. Weird.) Kelly Clarkson's latest single, "People Like Us," also makes its way onto the chart at 37 as "Catch My Breath" sees a small jump back to 33! The four debuts kick out "Let It Roll," "Last Goodbye," which falls from its peak position, "Problem," and "Troublemaker."

- I don't mind Nicki's verse. It was kind of a let down for me, though. I was hoping for something as strong as "Bottoms Up" or "My Chick Bad," but I guess poppy Nicki raps aren't all that fantastic.
- IKR?! I was even shocked myself on how much it jumped this week. I have grown to just REALLY love that song!
- Perfection, of course. ;)
- Speaking of "Catch My Breath," I forgot to mention in my commentary that both "I Knew You Were Trouble." and "Catch My Breath" will hit the 30-week milestone next week. "I Knew You Were Trouble." will definitely make it, but "Catch My Breath" may fall off next week. Definitely nail biting for it! Only four songs have reached this amazing milestone. "Give Your Heart a Break," "Call Me Maybe," "Some Nights," and "Try" are the only 30+ week songs. It'd be cool to see two songs reach that milestone at the same time. Though, it should be noted that "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" would most likely have joined the group had my chart been extended to a top 40 from the start. Possibly "Die Young" as well.

Psh. Three chart weeks isn't quick enough? It took it four weeks, though. It didn't make the chart its first week of release. Still, that's pretty fast for my chart. I've never had a song debut in the top ten before*.

*"Starships" and "Shake It Out" both did, but with notes. "Starships" actually didn't reach the top 25 during its first week. It also should definitely be noted that the methodology for the top 25 was A LOT different than it was now. It likely would have debuted in the mid-lower teens in its first week using today's formula. "Shake It Out" debuted in the top ten the week the chart extended to 30 and started using the methodology using 3-month and 1-month plays, which is still different from today's methodology that has been in place since October. Using today's methodology, it likely would have debuted in the mid-30s and quickly surge into the top ten.

Keepin' it brief this week. Demi Lovato dethrones the behemoth "Just Give Me a Reason." This is Demi's first number one as "Give Your Heart a Break" only managed to peak at number seven despite holding the record for longest stay on the chart at 43 weeks. Three through six remains stagnant, but Taylor's "22" jumps to number seven and "Next to Me" resurges back into the top ten at number nine. Also leaping bounds is Anna Kendrick's "Cups," which leaps to number eleven from eighteen with a huge point gain. The biggest point gain, though, goes to Kelly Clarkson's latest, "People Like Us," as it rockets from 37 to 22! It also receives Platinum certification this week. Also receiving new peaks this week are "Can't Hold Us" at 13, "Clarity" at 17, "Done." at 19, "Mama's Broken Heart" at 20, "Still Into You" at 21, "#thatPOWER" at 26, "The Phoenix" which rockets 40 to 27, "Sweater Weather" at 30, and "Blowin' Smoke" at 32. Re-entering the chart this week is Imagine Dragons' "Demons" at 39. They knock out Maroon 5's "Daylight."

Two songs reach an amazing milestone this weekend! Taylor Swift's "I Knew You Were Trouble." and Kelly Clarkson's "Catch My Breath" both reach 30 weeks inside the top 40, so they join the 30+ club! Only four other songs have attained this marvelous stature before. "Give Your Heart a Break" by Demi Lovato, "Call Me Maybe" by Carly Rae Jepsen, "Some Nights" by fun., and "Try" by P!nk. Having two songs reach the achievement on the same day is outstanding. 30 weeks ago, the two songs entered the chart at 24 and 22 respectively, and peaked at number 1 and 3 respectively.

This week was a crazy week. The tracking period for this week included my graduation (which meant, like, no music played at all), Mother's Day celebration, and I purchased the new Demi Lovato and Fall Out Boy albums, meaning a lot of play time was given to those albums rather than individual songs. This caused many songs to lose lots of points. In fact, the greatest gainer this week goes to Fall Out Boy's "The Phoenix," which only increased by one point, but because many other songs lost, that caused it to shoot up from 27 to 19! Which is kind of crazy since "Done." by The Band Perry did that exact same movement last week. Demi Lovato and Fall Out Boy both benefit from the album purchases. "Heart Attack" remains at number one and increases in points. "My Songs Know" jumps to number four to earn a new peak, and as previously stated, "The Phoenix" rockets to number 19. Only a few songs earn new peaks this week, and they are "I Love It," up to #2 and could take #1 as soon as next week, "Can't Hold Us," which leaps from 13 to number seven, "Clarity," up 17 to 13, "Mama's Broke Heart," up 20 to 18, "#thatPOWER," up 26 to 22, "Sweater Weather," up 30 to 25, and "Blowin' Smoke," up 32 to 30. Ke$ha replaced herself on the chart as "Crazy Kids" re-enters at number 40, knocking out "C'mon" from that same position last week.

One might make an appearance on the 5/26 chart. It'll be close to debuting. If it doesn't make it this week, then it will definitely show up on the 6/2 chart. There's one track that's really getting a lot more attention from me than the rest of the album, so I expect that it will probably be the only debut from the album, but there are two or three other tracks that will be cutting it close to debuting on the 6/2 chart.

A Fall Out Boy track or two may make appearances as well within in the next two weeks.

It's going to be a tough couple of weeks. A bunch of songs look to fall off: "Catch My Breath," "Merry Go 'Round," "Two Black Cadillacs," "Lessons in Love," "Madness," "Thrift Shop," "With Ur Love," "Almost Home," "Glow in the Dark," and possibly "Sugar," but there's so many songs that are vying to debut right now: "Treasure," "See You Again," "Love Somebody," "The Way," "Blurred Lines," "Safe and Sound," "Stompa," and a few album tracks from Demi and Save Rock and Roll. Going to be very interesting!

What an exciting week! Demi Lovato's "Heart Attack" remains on top for a third week and earns the greatest gainer award in total points which is shares with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "Can't Hold Us," which vaults seven to four. "Heart Attack" is without a doubt being aided by the release of the Demi album, which also sees a debut at number 33 with the album track "Something That We're Not"! Two other album tracks were less than 2 points away from debuting on the chart. Fall Out Boy's two tracks, "My Songs Know..." and "The Phoenix" also see big point increases aided with me purchasing their latest album, Save Rock and Roll. While that album does not see a debut this week, there was an album track that tied with one of the Demi tracks that just missed the chart! Will all three songs debut next week? You'll just have to wait and see. Debuting with Demi this week is the latest single from Carrie Underwood, "See You Again," entering the chart at number 36. These two debuts knock out "Thrift Shop" and "What You've Done to Me." As earlier stated, the Fall Out Boy tracks saw big point increases, but they both also earn new peaks. "My Songs Know..." moves four to three and "The Phoenix" moves 19 to 14. Also earning new peaks this week are "Clarity" up 13 to 7, "I Choose U" up 17 to 11, "Mama's Broken Heart" up 18 to 13, "Still Into You" rocketing up 24 to 15, "People Like Us" jumping up 26 to 17, "Done." up 21 to 18, "Sweater Weather" up 25 to 19, "Blowin' Smoke" vaulting 30 to 20 and earning the top gainer award in position, and "Demons" shooting up 34 to 26.

Okay... talk about out with the old and in with the new, eh? First and foremost, we have a new #1 song! "Heart Attack" slips to #2 while Icona Pop's "I Love It" finally moves up to the top spot! Now, second on the list of things to talk about: the freaky chart. Well, I just discovered that Last.fm has screwed me over and a nearly every song that you see increased in ponits this week was off by 2 scrobbles, causing last week's chart to be slower than normal, and I didn't notice. So, this week, I had to fix all of the plays, cusing huge increases for many songs. ("#thatPOWER" was off by three scrobbles for some reason...) I'm still not entirely sure where in the world the missing scrobbles came from. I'm fairly certain they were from last Tuesday and Thursday, so all of the missing scrobbles were added into the 3-month and 1-month part of the formula, as I'm 95% sure no song was missing scrobbles from the 1-week part of the formula. Believe me, I was so pissed I couldn't see straight and I'm still shaking from the stress of this being off so much, but what's done is done. Now, back to the chart. Selena Gomez shoots up from #6 to #3, pushing down "Can't Hold Us," so the battle to replace "I Love It" starts now! Macklemore or Selena? Who will get there first?! But, there's a few songs down the chart that are moving up at stellar speeds. First up, at #19 is Serena Ryder's "Stompa." I'm fairly certain this should've been on last week's chart in the mid-20s, explaining the huge debut. (Those who remember, "Stompa" was an add over 2 months ago, so the #19 debut seems really strange.) Below "Stompa," "DNA" and "We Can't Stop" both debut with the same amount of points. "DNA" is the second single from Little Mix, finally released in the US after smashing in the UKon Lozzy's and @gagalicious's personal charts, while "We Can't Stop" is the brand new single from Miley Cyrus released this week! "Blurred Lines" and "Treasure" both also finally debut on the chart and are expected to rocket up the chart. The chart's biggest point gainer comes from Carrie Underwood's "See You Again," though NOT aided by that awful music video. I just really like the song. A record eight songs debut on the chart this week, including two album tracks! "Made in the USA" from Demi Lovato and "Just One Yesterday" from Fall Out Boy. Speaking of Fall Out Boy, they have two hits in the top ten this week. Not many artists are able to do this feat! The few that have include P!nk, Taylor Swift, and Ke$ha. The eight songs kicked off are at least all pretty old...
