Quite another intersting chart this week and a total mess. Icona Pop remain at number one with the smash "I Love It," though they lose points. It should be noted that the entire top four are all within one point of each other! Next week's number one could really go to anyone. Yet again, the chart is clogged... badly. The entire top 28 has 15 points or better. Usually earning 15 points would get a song near the top 15, now it barely gets it top 30. It's weird. There's just so much music out right now that I really like, but none that I'm really in love with to send it to number one, which explains why they clogging is also present at the top. Within this total clusterfuck of a chart, several songs find new peaks on the chart. Selena Gomez's "Come & Get It" moves up to number two and poises to be the next number one, maybe. Below her, Avril Lavigne's "Here's to Never Growing Up" breaks the number five curse as it moves up to number three. Entering the top ten this week at number seven is Paramore's "Still Into You." Timeflies also moves up in the top ten to a new peak of number eight with "I Choose U." Songs below the top ten earning new peaks this week include The Neighbourhood's "Sweater Weather" at 14, Kacey Musgraves' "Blowin' Smoke" at 15, will.i.am's "#thatPOWER" at 17, Capital Cities' "Safe and Sound" at 20, Carrie Underwood's "See You Again" at 23, Little Mix's "DNA" at 27, Demi Lovato's "Made in the USA" at 29, Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" at 32, and Ariana Grande's "The Way" at 36. It should also be noted that Ke$ha's "Crazy Kids" rockets up ten spots to number 13 this week. It peaked at number nine back as an album track when Warrior was first released. It is poised to outpeak itself in the coming weeks. I feel we should also discuss "Stompa" plunging 19 to 35 this week in only its second week on the chart. Don't let this confuse you, I love the song and am not tired of it. Last week's chart was so weird with me having to fix the Last.fm plays of nearly every song that "Stompa" likely got lost in the shuffle and debuted much higher than it probably should have. Also, with the chart being a mess right now, losing three points sends her down a lot farther than it regularly would have. Expect her to rebound next week. The chart also sees one debut this week from the 1950s inspired monster track, "Dance with Me Tonight" by Olly Murs. The debut knocks off MKTO's "Thank You" from number 40.

And the total mess of a chart continues to get even messier as point totals that would usually get you into the top five doesn't even get you into the top ten anymore! Yikes! This is causing huge leaps and falls, but the big story of the week is the new number one hit. Icona Pop's "I Love It" slips one to two while Selena Gomez's "Come & Get It" slides right into home plate. However, there are plenty of songs hot on its trail. Timeflies' "I Choose U" jumps eight to four while Paramore's "Still Into You" also moved up a spot to number six. However, neither of those compare to our two greatest gainers. First up, Little Mix's international hit, "DNA," zooms up 27 to 13, but the biggest gain of the week goes to Miley Cyrus with "We Can't Stop," which rockets 30 to nine! Also reaching new peaks this week are "Safe and Sound" at 19, "See You Again" at 21, "Treasure" at 23, "Blurred Lines" at 24, "The Way" at 32, and "Dance with Me Tonight" at 35. Ke$ha's "Crazy Kids" also surges to number ten, one place away from its original peak as an album track. The chart also sees three debuts. First up, another international song, "Wildest Moments" by Jessie Ware, enters at 38. Calvin Harris scores his first chart entry with Ellie Goulding's third on "I Need Your Love," coming in at 39. Lastly, just what the chart needs, MORE DEMI LOVATO!!!! At number four is the album track "Never Been Hurt," marking the fourth album track from Demi to appear on the chart and making five Demi Lovato songs in total on the chart. 'Tis true. Rihsus fell off a few weeks ago with "Stay" and "Right Now" is struggling to debut. "Jump" or "Nobody's Business" would be smashes on my chart. Doesn't she know to release songs that would smash with me?! GOSH!
