I don't know if I should say, I'm looking forward to a new album or not. This mess with our R&B female artists is becoming trifling from label to radio (especially radio). And labels. She should rock with Beyonce's label, or Roc Nation, or someone who will actually promote her. Nah. The label for Beyonce is just that, a label for Beyonce. However, I can see her somewhere else. I wish she would do the reality show again. She better off with Lil Wayne's label or something. |

Did they end up pushing a second single or just throw out ideas?
Is Monica doing shows here and there?
I doubt her album made any money for her unless she has a really good deal and doesn't have to pay back any advance money.
I guess having an album out is a way to get hype for shows so I hope that's what she's doing.

Let's be real here is RCA really going to offer a contract renewal? Why they won't? They still have to uphold a R&B section on their roster. These labels will come to sh!t if they start really neglecting the R&B area on their labels. I can see a veteran keeping a contract than an investment in finding a new R&B star. |

Spotify noted that streams for the single have more than doubled with a 129% increase on their platform. According to YouTube, the “So Gone” music video currently sits at 2.8 million views and has shot up 309% compared to the three days before the challenge; the MonicaVEVO channel has seen a 15.5% increase in viewership.
