What's up with them? The limit magically disappeared, and someone said they would look into it. Haven't heard anything on it yet, though. Plus half the time all the signatures are shrunk a bunch. I just want them to always be the same, whether the limit gets re-imposed or not.
Any news would be great, thanks. :)

Yeah, I had to adblock yours because it was showing up full size. I can't do anything, an admin will have to look into it. I'll check up with the Support board if I need to.

Ugh, I thought I'd fixed it last weekend, as the signature images appeared to be successfully resized at the time. I'll see what I can do.
Edit: just made a thread on the Support board.

It now appears to be shrinking every image posted, signature and otherwise.

It now appears to be shrinking every image posted, signature and otherwise. It's been doing that for a couple days, randomly shrinking all pictures for a minute.

Hey guys, just to give you an update, I'm still looking into this. The previous code was first posted at the Support board in October 2005, so it most likely became outdated in some way. A user at the Support board has given me a couple new codes to try, but neither one has quite done the trick (for example, here's what one of the codes did to josh's signature, and his wasn't the only one).

Thanks for the update. Even if it takes a while, just knowing you're working on it is good to know. Thanks!

(for example, here's what one of the codes did to josh's signature, and his wasn't the only one). Save that for April Fool's.

I can re-size them if you guys would like me to in the meantime.

Even though the code hasn't been working, the signature size rule is still in effect so if those folks whose signature images are over the limit could please resize them. I've been noticing some images that are more than double the limit and it's beginning to impact the readability of the topics they appear in.

If you want people to change it themselves, making an announcement that shows on every board would be most beneficial. I shrunk mine for you though.

With the help of Matt4319, I think I managed to figure out what was going on with the code. Let's hope it actually works this time.

I disable signatures on every forum I use. Nothing more than an eyesore.

It's my way of encouraging people to turn them off and enjoy a much better forum browsing experience!

What's up with the oversized trend lately? musicjunky318's stretches out the entire page and Nightfire's is larger than most posts it's attached to!

On Google Chrome, they'll cut off, and I think the same is true for Firefox, but on Internet Explorer, it shows the full signatures, and it looks awful.

How does this count as stretching the page? Seems good to me.

That's the full image. Like I said, Firefox and Chrome cut it off properly. IE does not, though. Well, then there's your problem. Work.

Why would anyone use Internet Explorer? Unless they're browsing at school.

I purposely extended my image to annoy IE users... Open it in a new tab and look at it.

OMG.
I hate that you can't change work or school browsers from IE. All of this lol-ing is just too much for me.
