#39. Hard (feat. Jeezy) (Rated R) (Single #24)  A much more successful song; #8 Hot 100, #9 pop (BB), #14 hip-hop/r&b songs, and also #1 club songs. I like this song, but I really like a lot of the other Rated R songs much better. That is definitely one of her best albums, if not her best. Gotta see how Unapologetic settles over time, because I really like that one right now. But I also loved Talk That Talk at release, and not I only find that album decent/good. No clue who the fuck this Jizzy chick is, tho. ???

#38. Fire Bomb (Rated R) (Album track #13)  A nice song, definitely a notch abover many/most of her other songs in the lyrics department, and just overall, although it definitely lacks the catchiness that most of her singles have. Still very enjoyable, though. :)

#37. What's My Name (feat. Drake) (Loud) (Single #23)  This song was a big smash, obviously. #1 Hot 100, #4 pop (only #4? :O), #2 r&b/hip-hop songs. Only #6 club songs? :O :O :O Also #30 adult pop songs! ;) I never bought into the huge hype of this song. At first I really didn't like it, but I grew to like it over time. I'm not much of a Drake fan, so that obviously didn't help the song for me, either. I grew to think he's alright on this, but he definitely has better songs/features.

Three flawless songs from the Queen!  Well "Firebomb" is the least flawless of the three, I prefer "Photographs" by far but I agree with its placement on your list :). WMN should be higher tho :( |

S&M (Loud) (Single #22)  This was a big hit. #1 pop, #59 r&b/hip-hop (lol), #24 adult pop, #14 latin pop songs ( :O ), #33 hot latin songs, #1 dance club songs, and of course #1 on the hot 100, with the help of Britney. This is a good song, but it can get tiring pretty quickly, imo. I since burned and now like it again decently, but I still can't play it too much at once. I'm not a huge fan of the Britney remix, either. I loved the idea, but Britney just sounds so bored/whatever on the remix. Kinda kills the mood, tb h.

#35. Push Up On Me (Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded) (Album track #12)  I like this song. I feel like it would have done pretty well if it had been released as a single. She definitely had more obvious singles from the album, and I feel this could definitely have been released instead of at least one single, specifically.

#34. Break It Off (feat. Sean Paul) (A Girl Like Me) (Single #21)  Idk if that's the real cover or not... I think not (since the 2 new remixes but...) lmao A pretty good song. I like the production, and Rihanna's part. Even Sean Paul's part is pretty good! :) Was a hit in the US, top 10 on both the hot 100 and pop. Wasn't released outside the US. I don't think anyways, lmao.

#33. Hate That I Love You (feat. Ne-Yo) (Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded) (Single #20)  A nice hit for Riri. Top 10 hot 100, top 3 pop, top 20 hip-hop/r&b, almost top 30 adult pop. Plus top 10 in some other countries as well. A pretty good song. I normally don't like Ne-Yo much, but he's really good in this song. This song feels quite different from much of Rihanna's other music, because it's uptempo but not super dancey and such. :)

You are not going to believe this, but I made that God-awful thing.  It was a few years ago when I was an active member of UKMix. They had a game where you would make fan-made covers of recently released singles and then you would send it in and people would vote on them anonymously. Silly me thought that I was somewhat decent at it. (I used Paint. That's all I had.) There were some pretty awful covers that I made. I remember an even worse "Disturbia" one with her head like rotating out of a green spiral. She had black eyes and a speech bubble said "What's wrong with me?" or something like that. Oh, the horrible memories. There is a "Hate That I Love You" one that I made that doesn't look half bad, though. |
