#32. Fly (Nicki Minaj feat. Rihanna) (Pink Friday) (Feature #2) I always thought this song was going to be a huge crossover smash, since the first time I listened to Nicki's debut album. However, that was not what happened at all. It was top 20 on Hot 100, pop, r&b/hip-hop songs, and top 10 rap songs. However it wasn't top 5 (at least) on all of the above like it seemed like it could be, imo. However, analyzing this song, the chorus part with Rihanna is pretty basic. I wish she had gotten a small verse or something, because the chorus is so bland, especially in comparison to the verses. However, Rihanna does sound lovely in the chorus, especially the holding out of the word "fly." The harmonies are mesmerizing. Only one feature left, now! It definitely won't be until top 20, maybe even top 10.Speaking of which, I only have tomorrow's song in order. I need to get the next 10 or so more in order...

#31. California King Bed (Loud) (Single #19) I originally could not stand this song. I thought it was absolutely miserable. Now, however, I really like it. Her voice can be grating at times, but it's a nice ballad-type song. :) It was definitely an under-performer in the US, but did pretty well internationally.

#30. Phresh Out the Runway (Unapologetic) (Album track #11) Let's just get this out there: I loveeeeeee (get it? ) me some ghetto, ratchet music from my divas. Expect to see plenty more of it on here lmao. This song is definitely ratchet. Great way to open the album. Great beat and production, the vocals have a nice delivery, etc. Obviously the lyrics aren't her best but that's to be expected for these types of songs. So yeah, the next 3 songs are from Unapologetic as well, and the next 4 songs are album tracks as well. Any guesses for the next 3, at least? :)

See, josh, you included "Hate That I Love You" and "California King Bed." You don't hate my faves.
*taps feet and waits for "Rude Boy" to show up*

#29. Numb (feat. Eminem) (Unapologetic) (Album track #10) I think this could do really well on urban. Probably not so much on pop, although I would love if songs like this could smash on pop. I love the production on this, it's amazing. I could do without the deep auto-tuned voice in the chorus "The champagne" something smash something or other I think it says? Idk. It's weird. I also really like Eminem on this song. One of the rare times I like him. He's kinda like Drake: everyone loves him but I don't, but I have a few songs of his/him featured that I just absolutely love. I also love Eminem in Nicki's "Roman's Revenge." That song is pure perfection.

I mixed up these two songs. This is 27, the next one is really 28. lmfao #27. What Now (Unapologetic) (Album track #8) This is a great, introspective song. I love the piano and drums on this, they are absolutely perfect for this type of song. I'm not often a fan of slow songs, but this one is amazing. Then the chorus kind of has a breakdown, and it's amazing as well. I particularly love the part at 2:23. "There's no one to call cause I'm just playing games with them all. The more I swear I'm happy, the more that I'm feeling alone. Cause I spend every hour just going through the motions I can't even get the emotions to come out. Dry as a bone but I just wanna shout" I dunno, her vocals at that part are so good to me, and the first line I think is kinda funny/sad/whatever. It just speaks to me.

I mixed up these two songs. This is 28, the previous one is really 27. lmfao #28. Pour It Up (Unapologetic) (Album track #9) I suppose this is really looking to be a single now, being top 50 on rhythmic and urban. Oh well I'm still counting it as album track because too lazy to change everything else lmao. As long as this really does get pushed I will be a happy boy. Many people have complained about it being not even 3 minutes, but I've never noticed it being so short... I feel like the length is fine. Everything about this song is amazing. The production, the "ooo-ooo-ooo--ooo-oooh" parts, the chorus, the verses, the lyrics, the vocal delivery, etc. Great song.

#26. Red Lipstick (Talk That Talk) (Album track #7) A surprise, I'm sure, that I like the production on this song lmao. I love this song. One of my favorites of this album. "Do you right here while the whole world's watching." Yes please Rihanna. But only if he sexy. So catchy and fun and yummy.

I don't really care for "Red Lipstick" (the TTT bonus tracks are some of her weakest bonus tracks imo) but "What Now" & "Pour It Up" are flawless; "Unapologetic" truly is a great album! Oh and I also love the "dry as a bone, but I just wanna shooooooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuutttttt" line

I see josh likes him some ratchet riri. I particularly love the part at 2:23. "There's no one to call cause I'm just playing games with them all. The more I swear I'm happy, the more that I'm feeling alone. Cause I spend every hour just going through the motions I can't even get the emotions to come out. #25. Disturbia (Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded) (Single #18) This is a great song, and a smart single choice. Definitely a good song to have added to the re-release. It smashed, #1 hot 100, pop, clubs, etc. Idk what else to say. It's a good song, but nothing really makes it special, imo.

#24. Nobody's Business (feat. Chris Brown) (Unapologetic) (Album Track #6) Lol. Now we know why they took this picture. ;) At this point in time, working with Chris (again) was not a shock at all too me. I'm just like whatever, be an idiot, and I'll enjoy the music if it's good. I really like this song because the production is so unusual for modern popular music, but also really good. It's such a bop. Idk did I use that word right? I don't care for the part where Chris enters because he's so quiet and sounds bad, imo. The next part with him is miles better. Overall a pretty great song. :)

"S&M", "Break It Off", "Hate That I Love You", "California King Bed", and "Disturbia" are all great.
"Unfaithful" is also a favorite of mine, but everybody hates it, so I pardon you in advance for leaving it off.
Have to explore some of these album tracks.

#23. Good Girl Gone Bad (Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded) (Album Track #5) I swear, this album was full of smashes. This is another song I think could have been a great single. I particularly love the chorus, how she says "Easy for a good girl to go bad." "Cause once a good girl goes bad, we done forever."

#22. Love Without Tragedy / Mother Mary (Unapologetic) (Album Track #4) This is an amazing song, definitely one of Rihanna's best. (ETA: Lol at me saying that and being only #23...) It's very deep, which is unusual for many of her songs, which is part of why it's so great. It's also super catchy, etc. etc. I don't know how it would do as a single, obviously have to be split and maybe lengthened or idk. Too much work, imo.

#21. Take a Bow (Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded) (Single #17) A certified smash. #1 pop, hot 100, r&b/hip-hop, top 30 HAC, etc. Definitely a great song to try to sell the re-release with. One of Rihanna's best ballads, songs with a meaning, etc.

#20. Only Girl (In the World) (Loud) (Single #16) This was massive. #1 in a bunch of countries, #1 hot 100, pop, clubs, 11 hac, 18 latin tropical airplay. lmao Anyways, I never got this song when it was huge. I just didn't like it. I like it now, though. Idk I guess hearing it with headphones I hear a lot more to the production than I did before, which has made me really like it? I do find Rihanna's vocals to be a bit grating in parts, but the production makes up for that for the most part.

All flawless songs of course (it's da Queen after all like duh!). OG should be so much higher and I agree with all your thoughs on GGGB (the song).
