I'll move this here then: According to the New York Times: - Beyonce will be touring in 2013 - new music will be released within the next 6 weeks - album will be out in the first quarter of 2013 - She will be starring in a Pepsi commercial that will be shown during the Super Bowl, in addition to a $50 million/multi year deal with the company for a promotional partnership  Get ready world. Can't wait!!!! |

I'm sure this will be a huge album for her, but hopefully not at the cost of really quality music like 4. That's the first Beyonce album I've loved and I want this new-found appreciation and love for her to continue!

I'm sure this will be a huge album for her, but hopefully not at the cost of really quality music like 4. That's the first Beyonce album I've loved and I want this new-found appreciation and love for her to continue! I'm sure she'll be veering more back toward the middle and catering to pop in some capacity (well we know that based on her collaborators anyway), for reasons such as the one I stated in the previous thread. I think her lack of Grammy nominations this year is due to the lack of mainstream success 4 had, regardless of it being her best reviewed album. It most likely led to perceptions that it was weaker than her usual. |
