I love "Story Of My Life", but I love about 9 out of every 10 One Direction songs, so that's definitely not shocking to myself. I really like "Somewhere Only We Know", though I consider the original flawless, so that barely beats this version though this is on the barrier of becoming flawless to me, so it definitely could be considered that by me soon. :) "Jubel": I was introduced to this by Lozzy & I like it & I think I'll grow on it as time passes. ;) Another great chart, I love seeing SW back at #1. ;)

yes gaga top 10 Glad you like to see "Do What U Want" in the Top 10! :) Hopefully you didn't make any comment for "Aura".OMG! You're too insistent. One of the reasons I'm holding off "Push Play" is the upcoming remix of "Stay the Night". It's too early of course if I'm going to do the change, but early/mid January seems a good period to begin charting it as I told you before, independently if the Zedd & Kevin Drew remix of "Stay the Night" turns out to be really good or not. PS. Thank you Josh for your comments! | | Klingade "Jubel" Jubel – Single Watch the video here. New Entry | Weeks on Chart: 1 | Peak: 40

I love you <3 I <3 U too for introduced me to #teamKL. I think I never do it for "Sonnentanz (Sun Don't Shine)" though. SOM. It's not necessary to say this, but you can expect really good things for "Jubel". BTW, thank you for your comments! :) "Sweater Weather" back at #1, "Do What U Want" top 10, "Jubel" and "Somewhere Only We Know" debuted. • Good to know you like that "Sweater Weather" returns atop and it was expected tbh that you would like to see "Do What U Want" in the Top 10. • Surprised to see you're rooting for "Jubel" too. I assume it's because of Slizzard. I mean, his chart impact :'( • Amazing to see "Somewhere Only We Know" there as well. Additional comments:• Good to know you like 25 out of 40 songs on my personal chart. That's a really good number. I wasn't expecting too many honestly. • Surprised you didn't consider the Dreaming Mix of "Perfume". I assume you prefer the will.i.am-produced over this. • The shade to Disclosure and Flume. I can't. Hope any of their songs (besides "White Noise" which I think you like it) could grow on you. PS. Thanks for your comments Alen :) "Story of My Life": I love "Story Of My Life", but I love about 9 out of every 10 One Direction songs, so that's definitely not shocking to myself. Well, as you may know, I'm not so into 1D, but I have to say that "Story of My Life" is the exception so far from them. Seems that I like the folk-pop vibe "Somewhere Only We Know": I really like "Somewhere Only We Know", though I consider the original flawless, so that barely beats this version though this is on the barrier of becoming flawless to me, so it definitely could be considered that by me soon. :) Yeah! I agree. The original version by Keane is, simply, amazing. However, the way Lily Allen turned out it is really good as well. So perfect for the late Autumn/Winter season, despite it's late Spring/Summer in the South Hemisphere. "Jubel": I was introduced to this by Lozzy & I like it & I think I'll grow on it as time passes. ;) As I told to Alen before, Slizzard's impact :'( Good to know you like it. Another great chart, I love seeing SW back at #1. ;) Thank you James! Glad to see you like "Sweater Weather" atop as well.

I'm confused what the "Stay the Night" remix has to do with charting "Push Play" ?

I'm confused what the "Stay the Night" remix has to do with charting "Push Play" ? I'm guessing the remix might give "Stay The Night" a resurgence for him which could interfere with "Push Play"'s run, maybe.

I'm confused what the "Stay the Night" remix has to do with charting "Push Play" ? The Zedd & Kevin Drew remix could: a. Make the album version of "Stay the Night" rebound again. b. Replace the album version with the remix and make a resurgence for the song. c. Nothing. The song will keep falling. Also, you should note that "Stay the Night" is holding up in the last weeks and my chart is still competitive in the below part, despite there are some songs that have gone. ETA: Or what Slizzard said in a sentence without going further and giving a lot of details

You should just chart both simultaneously and have them both smash.

I knew you're going to like it to see it atop again Go "On Top Of The World", "Do What U Want", "Perfume", "Falling", "Hard Out Here", and others. So good to see that! Yeah! I'm still impressive too. "Sail" is definitely one of these songs that never gets old, despite it's, in fact, old. Weird, right? I was planning for its re-entering for a while and its UK re-release gave me that push. Love the debuts of "Jubel", "Somewhere Only We Know", and "Story Of My Life". Good to see you like all the debuts. Awesome. Thank you so much Zebra.! I really appreciate your comments too

Instant Crush #1!!!! XO debuting!!! My thoughts on it XO: My favorite single on her new album with Drunk In Love closely following. I'm certainly glad to see it having success on your chart with a strong debut.

Instant Crush #1!!!! XO debuting!!! Amazing that you like to see "Instant Crush" atop, as well as the (high) debut of "XO". "XO": My favorite single on her new album with Drunk In Love closely following. I'm certainly glad to see it having success on your chart with a strong debut. I personally prefer "XO" over "Drunk In Love", but it doesn't mean that the latter couldn't enter on my personal chart. I think I need more listens to the latter though. PS. Thanks James for your comments!

TOP 5 FOR DO WHAT U WANT! Oh! I assumed you're going to like to see it inside the Top 5. It has grown on me and I think it's better than "Applause". I'm pleasantly suprised at seeing XO so high already. :) Yeah! I really like "XO" and I preferred it over "Blow", which was supposed to be the first CHR/Pop single. PS. Thank you for your comments Julian!

Flop chart. jk "Sweater Weather" is still slaying. <3 "On Top Of The World" :) I should start playing it more now that "Bleeding Out" is dead. "Of The Night" yaaaay. it's fantastic. "Do What U Want" - let the light in. :'( you're holy now "Let Me Go" is doing well, I like that. :3 I should check "Help Me Lose My Mind", I'm sure I'll love it. "Sonnentanz" is falling. (okay you won, because it's still rising on mine) "Youth" is great as too. "Under Control" <3 "XO"!!!!! Bye "Animals", hope it'll have a smooth fall. "Hard Out Here"... for a BITTSHHH I'm rooting for "Human". "Work Bitch" is still slaying. :) I have yet to check "Falling", but don't want to mess up my chart with 3 charting songs from Days Are Gone, two is more than enough. "Tennis Court" is still glorious. "Look Right Through" slaying. :'( "Counting Stars" doing well in its 26th week on chart. "Stay The Night" hold on! :3 "Demons" is coming back for a new peak? Yaaaay "Jubel"! Yes, the recent #1 on Slizzard's chart better smash! :) "Aura" hold on! :'( "Somewhere Only We Know" <3 "Dark Horse" is coming... "Tessellate" peaked quite low. :( Welcome to the 'I casually listen to 1D' club!

I really don't know how to reply to your comments, so I hope this will work (out) bitch (*). Flop chart. jk I'm just kidding too "On Top Of The World" :) I should start playing it more now that "Bleeding Out" is dead. I should check "Help Me Lose My Mind", I'm sure I'll love it. You should give a try to "On Top of the World" and "Help Me Lose My Mind". Both songs are really great. FYI, I will have "Bleeding Out" on mind. "Do What U Want" - let the light in. :'( you're holy now LOL! "Sonnentanz" is falling. (okay you won, because it's still rising on mine) Bye "Animals", hope it'll have a smooth fall. "Stay The Night" hold on! :3 "Aura" hold on! :'( I think "Sonnentanz (Sun Don't Shine)" and "Animals" could stabilize in the upcoming weeks. I'm not sure about "Stay the Night" and "Aura" though. Both of them could go either way. Sorry :( I have yet to check "Falling", but don't want to mess up my chart with 3 charting songs from Days Are Gone, two is more than enough. I jump with "Falling" over "The Wire" However, I agree that you should hold it until one of the songs from their album that are on your personal chart peaked. It's better. "Demons" is coming back for a new peak? Yaaaay It's having a second chance, but it's too soon if it will get a new peak though. "Tessellate" peaked quite low. :( I know that "Tessellate" peaked relatively low, despite it managed to enter inside the Top 20. However, you could expect a new track from her to be soon on my weekly chart. Welcome to the 'I casually listen to 1D' club! I should have thought about this name before It's so perfect and it suits very well on me. Additional comments:• I really like the positive ones you made about "Sweater Weather", "Of the Night", "Let Me Go", "Youth", "Under Control", "XO", "Hard Out Here", "Human", "Work Bitch", "Tennis Court", "Look Right Through", "Counting Stars", "Jubel", "Somewhere Only We Know" and "Dark Horse". TY! • Thank you so much Alen! Really appreciate them (*) I needed to put that

juanito's Top 100 Songs of 2013Welcome to my year-end countdown. This is the first time I'm going to do a year-end chart, so I hope you guys could enjoy it and comments are really appreciate, of course. These are my top 100 songs of the year and it's calculated by chart points from a formula Slizzard made, which I decided to customize for personal purposes, as it's said in the OP of this thread. It's based on my 52 weekly charts this year, which it's compiled from December 30, 2012 to December 28, 2013. Without any further information, let's get it started. Disclaimer: I'm using Slizzard's and Devin's layouts that both of them used/are using on their year-end countdowns, respectively, with the additional input the latter did on his, which I modified here. Kudos for the speaker icon!

{Comments} #100: Mika – "Underwater""Underwater" was released as the second European single (with the exception of the UK and Ireland) and third in France later last year, but it hit the Top 20 there and Switzerland mid this year. The reason? I don't know #flopmikafan. Anyway, this is one of my favorite tracks from The Origin of Love, which it sadly underperformed, despite it's still a great album. The track was also featured in a Swatch Scuba Libre Collection TV Commercial advert. Could it be the reason of its late success in the aforementioned countries? I hope so. This is Mika's only entry. #99: Imagine Dragons – "Demons""Demons" has a really weird chart run tbh. I jumped on it after "Radioactive" peaked on my personal chart, but I kind of overplayed it, so it ended abruptly in favor of "On Top of the World". However, after its success on CHR/Pop radio, I decided to give it a second try and it's turning very well. I still don't know if it will outpeak its previous spot. #98: Tiësto f/ Calvin Harris – "Century" (Tiësto & Moska Remix) I know. This is 2009 track from Tiësto's Kaleidoscope, but when it was revealed that this song will have a new re-worked version included on Club Life, Vol 3 – Stockholm, I got excited. The reason? Calvin Harris sings on it! That's it. The new version was done by Tiësto himself and his protégée Moska (real name: Daniel Amezquita), a Colombian producer, who asked him to do it together. So far, it was the best decision and the middle drop is absolutely amazing. This is Tiësto's and Moska's only entries as lead artists and/or remixers (depending of the situation) and Calvin Harris' only entry as a featured artist, but he has five (!!!) more entries as a lead. Side note: Tiësto wrote the following in the Club Life, Vol 3 – Stockholm booklet about this track: "I always wanted to remix this track with Calvin, so when Moska asked me if we could do it together I said, "yes" right away! It's a nice mix of being really hard with emotional breaks." The only thing I have to say to Calvin is: "What the hell are you waiting for to work again with Tiësto?" #97: Ellie Goulding – "Tessellate""Tessellate" is a song by Alt-J (∆), which was covered by Ellie Goulding for the re-issue of her second studio album Halcyon. Both versions are really good, but I decided to jump on Ellie's because she takes the song to another (sexy) level and its music video. I mean, Ellie in black lingerie >>> However, it doesn't mean the original couldn't chart at some point ;) There are still three songs from Ellie Goulding left as a main artist and one as a featured artist. #96: Imagine Dragons – "It's Time"Second song from Imagine Dragons in this set. I have to be honest with y'all, but I didn't know about them until I found out some people charting it on their personal charts. I gave a try and I enjoyed it. "It's Time" has an alternative/indie rock vibe that I like it. There are still missing two songs from Imagine Dragons. #95: Jhovan Tomasevich – "Comenzar de Nuevo"This is the first of three Latin songs (and all of them are from Peruvian artists!). "Comenzar de Nuevo" is a song from Jhovan Tomasevich, who is a vocalist of Peruvian rock band Zen. The band broke up five years ago, but they are back again. YES! Anyway, the track received a lot of airplay in Peru because the original song is a ballad (these format usually do well here) and it was featured on a popular and local TV series. However, I decided to chart the alternate one, which is rock-oriented and it's so much better than the other for me. #94: Disclosure f/ Eliza Doolittle – "You & Me" (Flume Remix) Wow! I'm still surprised that this track made the cut, after all the story behind it. A resume of it is the following: I originally was planning to chart the album version of the track, but it was hold twice because of "Latch" and "F for You". In the meantime, Flume announced a video for the remix of the song, but it was out four months later and it made me to jump on it. However, there was something wrong here: The video of the Flume remix of "You & Me" really came out in late June when it was uploaded by their directors, Toby and Pete, on their official Vimeo account and it got unnoticed. Being said that, I'm still sure that if I have known that it was out before, the story of this song (in any of their versions) would have been different. This is the only entry from Eliza Doolittle as a featured or lead artist, but there are still four more entries from Disclosure and two from Flume as lead artists. #93: Avril Lavigne f/ Chad Kroeger – "Let Me Go""Let Me Go" is the third single from Avril Lavigne's self-titled album and it features the lead singer of Nickelback and her husband Chad Kroeger. This song has really connected with me (It didn't happen with "Here's to Never Growing Up" and "Rock N Roll" though) and the video is so good, despite the Sony tablet product placement, which it's very pointless tbh. This is Avril Lavigne's and Chad Kroeger's only appearance. #92: Calvin Harris f/ Tinie Tempah – "Drinking from the Bottle"First song as a lead artist from Calvin Harris. "Drinking from the Bottle" is the sixth single from his album 18 Months and it had a quick appearance on my personal chart because of two reasons: "Sweet Nothing" and "I Need Your Love". The former was falling too slow while I was getting the hype for the latter and if we add the fact that the video was so weird, it didn't help the song so much. Also, it tends to be generic and it has similarities to "We Found Love" However, I really like Tinie Tempah's part. #91: Anahí de Cárdenas – "Gemini"Second Latin (with English lyrics) song. "Gemini" is the first single from Peruvian actress and singer Anahí de Cárdenas from her debut album Who's That Girl? (stylized as #WTG). It has an R&B vibe and the bridge is simple, but really good. Sadly, it didn't perform very well in my country because of the lack of support that local songs have here. I know. That's weird and it sucks.

{Comments} #90: Linkin Park x Steve Aoki – "A Light That Never Comes""A Light That Never Comes" is the first single from Linkin Park, in collaboration with Steve Aoki, from the band's second remix album Recharged. The track, which has elements of electronica and alternative, is really good and it has some great build ups made by Steve Aoki. This is the only entry from Linkin Park and Steve Aoki. #89: Martin Solveig & The Cataracs f/ Kyle – "Hey Now"When I found out that Martin Solveig had a new song out, I gave a try after the amazing "Hello" and the so-well "The Night Out" were. "Hey Now" is a collaboration with Niles "Cyranizzy" Hollowell-Dhar, the remaining member of The Cataracs, which features vocals from Kyle, a US rapper. Despite there are some parts of the song that tends to be generic, it's actually good and I was shocked when it received some airplay in Peru. I mean, I wasn't expecting this. This is the only appearance from the three of them. #88: Lady Gaga f/ R. Kelly – "Do What U Want""Do What U Want" is the second single from Lady Gaga's third studio album Artpop, which features R&B singer R. Kelly. The song is really good and it reminds me of the work she did on The Fame/The Fame Monster. I'm glad Interscope pushed for it because it has more public appeal than "Venus", despite the latter has grown on me. Obviously, it's so much better than "Applause" in my opinion. This is the only entry from Lady Gaga and R. Kelly. #87: Kelly Clarkson – "Catch My Breath""Catch My Breath" is the first single from Kelly Clarkson's compilation album Greatest Hits – Chapter One. It is an electropop song with some pop/rock arrangements and the elements of air, water and fire are represented throughout the music video. Also, Kelly's vocals are the highlight of the song. This is the only appearance of Kelly Clarkson. #86: Nelly Furtado – "Waiting for the Night""Waiting for the Night" is the fourth overall single from Nelly Furtado's album The Spirit Indestructible, which sadly underperformed worldwide. It is a dance/pop song with some Latin and R&B elements and it has the inclusion of an accordion throughout the song. Personally, it's one of the highlights from this album, which despite it is not as great as her masterpiece Loose, it deserved better. It's still unclear if her follow-up album is going to be an English, Portuguese and/or Spanish one, but if it's the latter, please Nelly come to Peru this time. I'm still pissed off your 2010 concert was cancelled here :'( #85: Taylor Swift – "22"When "22" was announced to be the next single from Red, I was torn. I mean, I like it but I was rooting for the title track to be released instead because I wanted something different from her and not three pop consecutive pop singles (I'm not including "Begin Again" here). However, all of this changed when the music video came out. It's simple, but perfect and it was the main reason why I jumped on this track. There's still one more track from Taylor Swift in this countdown. #84: Dan Black f/ Kelis – "Hearts"This is one of the strangest cases where I didn't know who the lead artist (in this case, Dan Black) was when I found out the song. I remember I was lurking into the web looking for news about the digital release of "Give It All" by Don Diablo, where Kelis has featured vocals along Alex Clare, and this song came out because of her. I gave a try, watching the music video and I fell in love with it. I mean, it's by far one of the best music videos that were released this year. It's simply incredible and it deserves this: #83: Bastille – "Of the Night"The music video of this song was posted by Tortuga in the November's Random Thoughts, so I gave a try and I loved it. "Of the Night" is a mash-up of two 1990s dance classics, which they are "The Rhythm of the Night" by Corona and "Rhythm Is a Dancer" by Snap!, and it was released as the first single from the re-issue of their debut album Bad Blood. There's still one more entry from Bastille. #82: Madeon – "The City""The City" is a song from Madeon (real name: Hugo Pierre Leclercq), which features uncredited vocals from Zak Waters and Cass Lowe. As you may see, the song had a weird chart run, but it's still a good one. Well, all the songs he produces are fantastic! I really hope he could break into the mainstream scene because he totally deserves it. Also, he's only 19!!! #81: Ayah Marar – "The Raver""The Raver" is the third overall single from Ayah Marar's debut album The Real. It's a electronica song with heavy elements of drum and bass, which makes the song really great and perfect for EDM festivals. One of the regrets I have with this song is that it deserved better on my personal chart and I think the reason of it was because I wasn't into the D&B scene early this year. There's still an entry from Ayah Marar as a lead artist and two as a featured.

Before I comment, I'll skip some of the ones right now that I haven't heard & I may or may not comment on them later. Underwater: Just recently listened to this for the first time, it is the first song I have heard from him now outside of "Popular Song" & I like it, this is definitely a song that would chart on my personal chart if it were newer. Demons: I'm a little shocked this wasn't higher on your chart, but nonetheless good to see it crack your countdown, it is my favorite Imagine Dragons single because of how catchy & repetitive it is. Tessellate: This song is ok, but I haven't given it much of a chance to crack that barrier considering I've only listened to it twice that I can remember of. It's Time: It's hard to not love one of their singles, I am glad to see this also had success, I love the beat to it because it sounds so good for a mainstream song with how different it is, kinda like "Timber". You & Me (Flume Remix): Nice remix of a decent song, I like this version better than any other of that song. :) Let Me Go: Didn't catch onto this at first, it took me a little bit, but now I like it. Drinking From The Bottle: Not sure how long it has been since this has been released, but I still get it stuck in my head quite often & that's how catchy this song is. I love it. A Light That Never Comes: I've really started to love this song lately, it's extremely catchy & another repetitive song on your year-end chart, just goes to show how great & repetitive this chart is. ;) Hey Now: I've heard this 10 or so times, but I can't really say I like it, when I hear it I like it, but it has no repetitiveness to me. As you can probably tell by now, repetitiveness is key in whether or not I like a song. Do What U Want: Is it possible not to like this song? Catch My Breath: I really don't care for this song, it's too typical for me & this is definitely one of my least favorite songs from her. 22: I really liked this at first, but not really anymore, it got rather annoying to me quickly, so it's repetitiveness to me is not very high. Hearts: I heard this for the first time a couple months ago or so via your personal chart & I've given it more listens since & I have to admit, it's repetitive & I really like the chorus line. Of The Night: I haven't listened to this for a couple weeks or so, but that isn't because I don't love it, in fact I do but I just haven't had it on my playlist. I'll have to give it more listens so I can give it a true rating. :) That should cover the ones I know, I'm looking forward to seeing #80-71 soon. :)

{Comments} #80: Empire of the Sun & Zedd – "Alive" (Zedd Remix) "Alive" is the first single from Empire of the Sun's second album Ice on the Dune. It received some remixes treatment and one of them was from Zedd, which I like it and I decided to go with it instead of the original one. The remix, which Zedd appears also as a collaborator (I don't know why though, but great), has some really good build ups. This is the only entry from Empire of the Sun, but there are still two more appearances from Zedd as a lead artist. #79: MKTO – "Thank You"I found out this song thanks to Xivii when he posted it in the "Clarity" thread. I watched the video and it was great. "Thank You" is a pop song with some hip-hip parts and it's about a younger generation's sarcastic gratitude towards their previous generation after suffering the effects of their previous wrongdoings (Kudos for the person who wrote that on Wikipedia). This is MKTO only entry. #78: Ayah Marar – "Beg Borrow Steal""Beg Borrow Steal" is the latest, but first North American single from Ayah Marar's debut album The Real. It's an EDM infused, pop ballad song where Ayah demonstrates the quality of her voice in this powerful track. So amazing honestly. #77: Otto Knows – "Million Voices"I found out this track thanks to Calvin Harris's DJ Sets "Million Voices" is a progressive house track with some elements of trance from Otto Knows (real name: Otto Jettman), which it's huge and amazing. Like "The Raver", it's perfect for EDM festivals and also, I think it deserved something better on my personal chart, which I totally regret. This is Otto Knows only entry. #76: Kastle f/ Ayah Marar – "Red Light"Like "Hearts", I didn't know who the lead artist (in this case, Kastle [real name: Barrett Richards]) was when I found out the song. I was lurking into the web to find some information about Ayah Marar when I saw an article about Kastle on Billboard where Ayah was mentioned and I listened to the track which she was featured and I liked it. It resembles "Latch" by Disclosure with featured artist Sam Smith, but in a good way. This is the only entry from Kastle and there's still an appearance from Ayah Marar as a featured artist. #75: Icona Pop – "All Night"After "I Love It" peaked on my personal chart (/spoiler), I was unsure on which Icona Pop track jump because it was between this and "Girlfriend", but I decided to go with the former because I liked it more than the latter. "All Night" is an electropop song that has some good build ups. There's still another song left from Icona Pop. #74: Rizzle Kicks – "Lost Generation""Lost Generation" was released as the first single from Rizzle Kicks' second studio album, Roaring 20s, in late August this year. I have never been a huge fan of them, but when I saw that a new song from them was coming out, I gave it a try and I liked it. It's a hip-hop song and the lyrics throughout the song are clever and amazing. This is the only appearance from Rizzle Kicks. #73: Rudimental f/ Ella Eyre – "Waiting All Night""Waiting All Night" is the third single from Rudimental's debut album Home. It's a drum & bass song that has some really good build ups too. Ella Eyre's vocals are great and the music video is very inspirational. Actually, all of Rudimental videos follow this trend. This is the only entry from Ella Eyre, but there's still a song left from Rudimental. #72: Youngblood Hawke – "We Come Running"I know. "We Come Running" is kind of old, but I discovered it thanks to Slizzard and Ryan's chart early this year. However, it was until September, I decided to give it a chance and it entered on my weekly chart. It's an indie pop/rock song that contains vocals from the West Los Angeles Children's Choir and it was featured on the soundtrack for FIFA 13. This is the only appearance from Youngblood Hawke. #71: Avicii – "Wake Me Up""Wake Me Up" was released as the first single from Avicii's debut album True. It features uncredited vocals from Aloe Blacc and it's a folktronica song, which I have to admit I wasn't into at first, but now I like it, with some elements of EDM. It has been huge worldwide, despite it wasn't received very well when it was firstly performed in the Ultra Music Festival this year. There's still a song left from Avicii.
