"Gimme More" close to pass 5 million points. It was an #1 smash hit back in 2007. Gave new life to her career. The phrase "It's Britney bitch" became iconic.
"So What" marked the return of P!nk. Got her first #1 since "Stupid Girl" two years prior.
"Makes Me Wonder" was also kinda comeback single, but they just didn't release singles between 2004-2007.
"Toxic" was the #1 hit of 2004, a classic.
Ke$ha got her 6th #1 with "We R Who We R", had to wait for two years for the seventh.

"White Flag" was one of the main hits of 2013, too bad it's her only major success.
"LoveGame" marks the third #1 for Lady Gaga, it had hard time edging out "Boom Boom Pow" and "I Know You Want Me".
"Dilemma" is one of the best single-rapper collabos, a memorable slice of my childhood. The #1 song of 2002, and the third longest-running number-one with twelve weeks at the top tier.
"Russian Roulette" is Rihanna's first attempt with expressive, experimental songs... and it paid.

Sean Kingston had only one hit, but "Beautiful Girls" was a timeless song I needed in 2007.
Black Eyed Peas scored a huge international hit, and their first #1 on my chart which started a streak ending with "The Time" in 2010. Ok, I'm lying, "Pump It" also stuck at #2.
"In The Shadows" was the #3 hit of 2004, managed to beat "Yeah!" with only one weeks at the top. "Yeah!" was the longest-running #1 of that year with 8 weeks, which shows the strength of "In The Shadows".
"Judas" was one of the biggest hits of 2011 and had a surprisingly slow burn.
"It's Like That" was the comeback single of Mimi, performed better than "We Belong Together".

"Buttons" started the domination of the second biggest girl group of last decade.
"Forget You" is a cheesy retro song smashing the top ten in late 2010, to top the chart in 2011.
Life would be worthless without Madonna's perfection, "Hung Up".
The last weeks of 2011 were dominated by the electro-pop-rock "Paradise" and the elephant in the video.
"Good Feeling" had the second highest point week in 2012. It was there earlier, but it took three months to grow on me. And than exploded.

In "Cupid's Chokehold" there is a perfect combination of Travis and Patrick. It was destined to be a big hit, the only #1 for Patrick Stump so far. He came close with Fall Out Boy so many times (a bunch of #2-3).
"Sweet Dreams" was a five star closing of her I Am... era. I didn't even care if there were other singles. It did skyrocket to #1 after a few listens.
"My Immortal" rose to #1 on after the strong performance of "Bring Me To Life", but could've been a hit on its own.
"More" is the type of dance-Usher I extremely love. It was an #1 hit in the first weeks of 2011, and paved the way for "Scream" in 2012 which I found similar.
Maroon 5 made its debut with "This Love" in 2004.

The sample in "Stronger" was a hit-or-miss, but his verses were strong enough for a second #1.
"Turn Me On" was the first #1 on my 100-position chart. It took a while to grow on me, but managed though.
"Let's Get It Started" as the #1 song of 2005 marks their second huge hit ("Hey Mama" was a jump and fall). The Alicia Keys sample gave me chills back then.
Rob Thomas got his second #1 hit with "Lonely No More". It's still far from "Smooth"s level.
"Fight For This Love" smashed in 2009, one of the biggest hits of that year despite peaking at #2.

"Bring Me To Life" was the #2 song of 2004. Amy Lee and Paul McCoy created a great duet, it was rough and sensual at the same time. I still hear this on the radio.

"In My Head" followed the smash hit "Whatcha Say", but became something completely different. A better song, deal with it. I miss the success of the album Jason Derülo, maybe the worse quality ruined his US career.

"My Life Would Suck Without You" is the reincarnation of pop-Kelly, though she was pretty successful in her darker songs on my chart. The song instantly became one of my favourites of her.

I'm glad Britney refused to put "Telephone" on Circus. I love her and especially that album, cause Gaga HAD to release this. I know she doesn't like to fill her albums with featured artists, but Beyoncé works here.

I was like a year late with "Let It Rock", it exploded then. So over this sound, still can listen to it though.

"The #1 hit of 2005 was "Boulevard of Broken Dreams". Still a replay-able track.

Adele's debut with "Rolling In The Deep" was full on my chart in spring 2011, but it had one of the worst burnout rate on my personal chart. Cruel. Songs with ridiculous longevity came close or passed it. It prepared a much bigger smash.

"Down" was part of the Second Half 2009 Rush, when the most unexpected #1s followed each other. The song is good, but he had just one top ten hit following this smash and faded away.

"Low" was the longest running #1 in 2008 in a three-way tie with 7 weeks at the top. Pretty much all I can say... Loved the song, but still don't understand why did it block better songs like "Mercy" and "Love Song".

"Where Have You Been" is still a relatively current song, it first appeared on my chart in December, 2011. It went to became the biggest hit of the Spring 2012.

A good placement for "Set Fire To The Rain" comparing to RITD. With its numerous resurgences it deserved it.

I was rooting for "Hold It Against Me" to debut at #1, and it did. It's not a memorable song, but I don't hate it. Love the video.

"Stronger" was a top ten longevity champ, but fell off fast after the drop-out. I thought it can still jump over SFTTR, but doubt it now.

"Unfaithful" became the third #1 of Rihanna, made me a fan. The lyrics may be lame, her vocals may be horrible, I still adore this song.

"Take It Off" is the best song on Animal. Big words.

"S&M" was in the same situation as "WHYB" and "Right Now" on her last two albums. I picked a song of her to play when her lead singles burnt out. S&M was unlucky, peaked at #2, but at least it got a great longevity.

I knew "Glad You Came" for like half a year when finally decided to debut it. It was partly because of the US success. Got to #2, blocked by WHYB.

"Empire State of Mind" was an unexpected #1 from me. I like Alicia Keys, but me sending a song with a rapper lead straight to #1 is rare.

I love P!nk and the number of her well performing singles prove it. "Stupid Girls" got to be the #1 song of 2006 winning over other huge hits like "Hips Don't Lie", "SOS", "Maneater" or "Because Of You".
Gwen Stefani burst back on my charts with "Hollaback Girl". I'm lying, "Rich Girl" was a smash on its own. It was the #3 song of 2005. B-A-N-A-N-A-S!
I love P!nk second singles, cause they're often better than the lead ones. "Sober" is a song full of emotions and she expressed them so well, I did understand 'that feeling' without being a woman.
"Sexy And I Know It' was a fun song, I always loved it better than PRA. While PRA was #1 for a week, SAIKI managed to get four weeks in a competitive period.
Madonna was sooo much fucking back in 2008, she outperformed her former hit, "Hung Up".

"I Gotta Feeling" was huge for me too, it spent seven weeks atop my chart, separated in three. Could have been ten weeks at least. The song itself had a horrible recurrence, the weaker BBP is placed much higher on the list. Literally got sick of it knowing it's not a bad song.
"Some Nights" is still charting, at #93 as of this week. The song will definitely break into the top twenty at least.
I'm surprised now that I placed "Born This Way" so high. A #1 debut (rare as hell, there was like seven-eight during 1999-2013 and this was the last one) and five weeks atop the T100 is a great achievement...
"Dynamite" wasn't a longevity-champ for me like the BBHot100. The songs was a huge #1 falling off in a normal time span.
Oooh another P!nk song! She's unbeatable in 5 million+ points songs. This was kicked out of the top spot by "Born This Way".

Kelly Clarkson was a huge pop force in 2004-2006 period to return in 2009. "Breakaway" started the era with a #2 peak, then came "Since U Been Gone" #1 and "Behind These Hazel Eyes" #2. "Because Of You" became her second #1 from the era knocking off "Hung Up".
"The Sweet Escape" came in the perfect period, it's a great song. Still can't believe it peaked #2 on Hot 100.
The Black Eyed Peas slayed the summer of 2005 with "Don't Phunk With My Heart" and "Don't Lie", the formed being a much bigger hit.

Katy Perry already broke her #1-streak with LFN(TGIF) before, so I did not care about the peak. This was far superior song, in the top5 for the album, so it's a legit number-one.

"If I Were A Boy". Still my favourite from her.
Avril Lavgine started big in 2002-2003 - two #1s and a year-end top 25 song in both years - and came back with an #1, "My Happy Ending" in late 2005. "Girlfriend" was a second comeback, being the #1 song of 2007. It wasn't a long lasting number-one, but spent 7 more weeks at #2, which means ten weeks in Top2. "When You're Gone" managed to be a big #2 peaking song too, making 2007 the first year she had two of the top 25 songs.
"Lights" is still pretty fresh while it's more than two years old. It was the #4 song of 2012, growing decently, but fell behind "Some Nights" in the long run after being the longest-running #1 of last year.

The announcement as the third single of TD made me happy, and as a bonus they shot the music video in Budapest, 180km from my home. It spent a bunch of weeks inside the top ten.

The highest entry for Britney Bitch. When she released "Womanizer", it became a hit by her name only, wasn't into that song (love it now). "Circus" was a different story, when I saw the video for the first time, had some urge to replay it over and over. She has a lot of songs that basically anyone would made a hit, thanks to the best producers. The lyrics are lame, but Dr. Luke and Benny Blanco congratz, this is a masterpiece.
While the producers made a great work, it's one of those songs wouldn't be/wouldn't be that big hits if someone else sang it - the other is "Toxic". Fits that modified voice they use in her songs for at least 6 years now.
The video is also perfect, she looks great with hat on.

Thank you Chris Brown for giving it to Rihanna. I love weird Riri, and she delivers. After seeing the video for the first time, I was like: Whooa, WTF?, but I can now laugh on the creepy people. She looks great with that antic helmet.
The "Bum-bum-be-dum-bum-bum-be-dum-bum." beat is sick, it is one of the best use of auto-tune. The following part is my favourite:
"It's a thief in the night to come and grab you
It can creep up inside you and consume you
A disease of the mind, it can control you".
It was her longest lasting top ten since "Unfaithful", it outdid songs like "Umbrella" and "Don't Stop The Music" which were all big hits.

The start of a foreseeable big career. The song got me after the Super Bowl and went to be the #2 song of last year. There would be no "Some Nights" or "Carry On" without this song, so that's at least triple win.
"We Are Young" was their first #1 single followed by two more chart toppers, and Nate has now four number-ones in less than a year.
Despite its big success, had significantly worse longevity than both "Some Nights" or "Carry On". It must be something with quick burn.

"Found" this before the start of proper promotion and the release of the music video, while browsing on Youtube for new music. I LOVED the song, and forgot they had another hit way back with "Drops Of Jupiter". Hearing it on the Hungarian radio was shocking, never thought about this gaining mainstream success, let alone being a WW smash. The summer was sweeter with their music.

Somebody That I Used To Know - Gotye feat. Kimbra

The #1 hit of 2012, still has to catch up to the older songs on the list. I was relatively early with this comparing the US charts, because it was a big hit in Europe by December (earlier in Germany). The song itself is fantastic, expected it to be a flop hipster hit in North America, cause it simply didn't fit the definition of an average hit that time. I know there are unexpected factors - like Adele being huge -, but that was shocking. Happy about it's success, well deserved!

Love The Way You Lie - Eminem feat. Rihanna

It was one of the biggest hits in 2010, the most competitive year so far. Liked Eminem back then with his older songs, but recovery was his first album to produce two big hits. "Not Afraid" was big and steady, but "Love The Way You Lie" topped it easily.
A big THANK YOU to Skylar Gray to give this song away. Magical, heartbreak, beautiful song, but it wouldn't have been as big as it was with Rihanna's vocals and name on. She scored a well deserved 13th #1 with this song, and proved her force by outdoing it with two songs.

Maroon 5's return to the top of charts. They scored their 3rd #1, while Christina got a 10th. They were not flopping for long, "Misery" had a big impact.
A fun song, got big even if they just dropped it without any hype.

Rihanna's most honest, most emotional single to date ("Stay" is up there too, but still a new song). The video is also in the top five of her.
It produced the greatest gap between weeks at #1 for a single. It first reached the top spot on 18 July, 2011 to return there in 1st of October, fifteen weeks later. It was in the top ten during that, mostly in the top five. That's an accomplishment!

Oh yes. :) I don't even like this song that much, but remember how I was obsessed with it. Was a great idea to include it on Hangover soundtrack, propelled it to a bigger audience. Became curious who sang the female parts, I knew that black woman in the video is not the female singer. Had to wait for fall 2009, when I heard about Ke$ha (called the girl in "Right Round") will release her debut single. Had no idea it'll be the top song of 2010 in the US.
Flo Rida is great on this as usual.

A great way to launch a big pop star. Her cheeky, in your face attitude made it a success.
I remember finding it on Youtube before it became a hit. I won't lie, the song did nothing immediately, rather a grower. Later the lyrics stuck in my head, so gave it a shot that actually paid off. Remember when they removed the older video, and the VenetianPrincess parody had more views. It's not her only music video that got robbed with millions of views...

My girls Alicia with her 5th #1 :'( . This was a quick rise and slow fall, bumped from #2 song of 2008 title by "I Kissed A Girl" with 0.5% difference. I loved her since her commercial debut, but this is such perfection need to be up there. Got my attention early, just in time to benefit from my resurging ballad loving. She is damn beautiful in the music video.

While "Love The Way You Lie" ruled the late summer, this was it's early summer pair, the king of all summer-hits. I was hungry for new Katy Perry, had to chart singles where she's featured, like "If We Ever Meet Again" #2; or "Starstrukk" #1, and they were smashes effortlessly. The first listen was a shock, when I heard it on the radio I was not sure who sang it. It's infectious hook, the good verses and the eye candy - haha - music video contributed to it's massive points and high placement on the list.

The story started with the good performance of "London Bridge" on my chart, after hearing this song it became pretty obvious: she's got another #1. I did not know about her four consecutive #1s yet, but she came under my radar of potential hitmakers. I would name this as the best solo will.i.am work (writing and rapping, not producing).

Funny I just recently realized it's about pussy.

Seeing this struggling at #2 of Hot 100 was one of the most frustrating thing in late 2010. I was so obsessed with this during that 2,5 month long period, she got more than 3 million of its 6.5 million points then.
While it is not unusual for her to release dance tracks as singles, this was so different from her older work. "What's My Name" can just run behind it as a far worse song.

The oldest song in this list's top 30, was placed #3 of that year-end yet managed to way outrank everything released in 2006.
"Hips Don't Lie" is a timeless song, thanks to her power.
It also helps that I can dance to it, cause it's so easy.

I knew and liked Nelly before her Timbaland-produced album Loose, but her real success started with four #1s: "Maneater", "Promiscuous", "Say It Right" and the collaboration "Give It To Me". From those songs "Say It Right" was the biggest and most influential to my music taste. I remember singing along to it on all major trips that time.

I always prefer the solo version, got used to it. Though the Kanye feature was not a bad idea, didn't ruin the song. It's easily one of my most anticipated single and music video, counted the remaining weeks/days. It was strong enough to knock "Born This Way" from the top spot and float around the #5 position for a dozen of weeks.
The use of the stutter effect is cool, it couldn't be any better.

Spent insane amount of weeks in the top three, almost became blocked from #1. I'm happy Timbaland helped them to reach bigger audience, they would've been a big loss to the music industry.

The monumental first Hot 100 #1 hit of the band, the seventh on my Top 100. Nothing special, a rhythmic-dance fusion track, didn't understand the craze over it even if I loved them and supported its run. I was less kind to "I Gotta Feeling", you can see it much lower. Placing the highest of their all songs, although not my favourite, songs like "Let's Get It Started" and "Don't Phunk With My Heart" were all bigger in their time, you'll see how a 2007-song can perform, peaking after the big inflation of current and recurrent points.

The highest placing song to contain lyrics written by Ryan Tedder. He was also the producer, you can tell it easily after hearing the drums also important in "Halo" and "Already Gone", etc.
So bad her team is full of morons if it comes to promotion, she became a 1+1/2 hit wonder in the US, they're the only ones to blame. She had no hits on my chart after "I See You" in 2010 if I'm correct. That's because nothing can top the awesomeness of "Bleeding Love", "Better In Time" or "Run".
