I didn't keep up with that chart so I don't know when it disappeared. But all of Katy's #1's that were actually #1 on Mediabase were #1 on both spins and audience I think, so had that chart still been in effect today then I think she'd have had 10. Official update the week TOTGA was #1. Good Feeling had 5 million more AI. Billboard has different panels, but a difference that big seems like Katy would have not gotten that #1. 2 1 KATY PERRY The One That Got Awa... 13229 13387 -158 79.004 4 2 FLO RIDA Good Feeling 12877 12853 24 84.851 1 3 BRUNO MARS It Will Rain 12687 13559 -872 76.843 The week prior, she still wasn't #1 in audience (or spins), but with a different panel on BB it's possible she could have taken #1 in audience that week. 2 1 BRUNO MARS It Will Rain 13548 13511 37 84.244 86.846 3 2 KATY PERRY The One That Got Awa... 13387 13344 43 79.927 85.814 1 3 RIHANNA We Found Love f/Calv... 13308 13775 -467 91.438 85.308 Yeah "The One That Got Away" didn't come close to #1 in audience

It came close the week prior to it hitting #1, though.

Ugh Au$tin does those damn SPS counts that I always confuse for AI. I don't get why he did it 1/22 but not 1/29.

There are billions of YouTube videos that seemingly don't use any type of music. What if I told you all of them actually featured the track called 4'33", the famous composition by the celebrated American artist John Cage, which "instructs the performer not to play the instrument during the entire duration of the piece"? I hereby present to you the song that shall remain #1 on the Billboard charts until the end of the universe. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/4%E2%80%B233%E2%80%B3

Ehh so it's basically 9 either way. Going by spin peaks it's 9 with TOTGA in there but going by audience peaks you'd swap TOTGA out with IKAG. Never mind then.

HMM
nelly furtado is not comparable to those hit machines like katy or paula abdul anno 1989-92
nelly does not care if she flops or not she is a real artist !!! her last record got zero promo and zero airplay on the us but worldwide same ,, but be honest, it was bad the record
keshia ° she just flopped this era, of course she had a # 2 hit in the us but due to radio airplay, digital sales were nothing !
with million dollars of promo and commercial ads worldwide her record flopped at # 6 it sold less than x tinas lotus
short career !!!
katy perry surprised all, she was considered as a 2 hit wonder and her first album under the name katy perry sold within the 3 years only under 1,000,000 copies
then she came with teenage dream,

Did Mediabase revert back to the prior numbers? Because it looks like large gains on the pop panel- i.e. +2,350 spins for Bruno Mars.

I also noticed a couple others that, at least as of a couple of days ago, were not as large. Why I asked. :)

Paula released 3 albums in 1988-1995; Rihanna released 7 in 2005-2012. I don't see how they are comparable on that level alone. Stop comparing artists!!

Ummm where is Love Song on that list? Surely if songs with less than 10 million is worth tracking then this song is worth tracking.

That should be bold. I'm starting to think this will never hit top twenty.
