A lyric video is really only good at the beginning of a song's chart run. But the lyric video has been leaked last week, the official ones. It means that they made one, so why not release it? If the video was at all official, it would have definitely been posted on Katy's official VEVO by now. 196 spins to break the spin record. :o "Dark Horse" is going to slay the record. :'( |

With ~5 extra stations it's not much of an accomplishment. Let's wait for SPS. Which is roughly another 600 (total) spins away; the current record is just shy of a full 100 SPS. |

Yup. That would be Katy Perry herself from the same album, PRISM. The record is 99.343 SPS on October 13, 2013 for "Roar." With today's panel size, "Dark Horse" needs 17,485 spins to break the record, which looks to be very doable at this point.

Actually, if we consider that this appears to only be on 169 of the 176-station panel*...this is already averaging over 100 SPS on those, as of today's update.  *determined based on the listings in the Adds thread; was up to 169 stations last week, and received no new adds this week. |

Actually, if we consider that this appears to only be on 169 of the 176-station panel*...this is already averaging over 100 SPS on those, as of today's update. *determined based on the listings in the Adds thread; was up to 169 stations last week, and received no new adds this week. 169 is correct, but of the 7 stations that haven't added it, it's in the top 10 on 5 playlists (#1 on some), the 6th doesn't seem to have a playlist on AllAccess, and the 7th's playlist seems to be messed up. Would be useful if we got the number of stations actually playing it rather than stations who've just registered it as an add  |

It's already #1 so they don't need to go all out to make sure it gets to #1. Yeah, I imagine if she had not reached #1 yet that the video would have dropped on a Monday. |

I was really hoping for a video that was similar to Grammy performance. Egyptian Queen just doesn't seem to fit with Dark Horse. But I'm not too worried, Katy's music videos are always top notch, so I'm gonna wait til the video is released to form an opinion.
