Quite interesting the 'Remember the time' vibe of the video including the whole turning someone into dust, checking tricks, punishing people. Still, 20+ years after the original, this one pales in comparison. It was visually cool was pointless. And I'm not into the whole illuminati imagery (one eye, pyramid, people with big animal 'mask'). Hated those elements. I just think that with Katy the whole excessive production (stage, videos) may start becoming tiresome. I hope next video is more in the lines of TOY or TOTGA. Illuminati? ??? It's all Egyptian relic.

I agree with everyone who thinks that a serious, dark video would have been far more appropriate for this song. I'm getting sick of the oh-so-cheeky camp already. It's a turnoff, like the whole singing career thing is a big joke... A little balance, please... Curiously i find it refreshing, i'm a little tired of pop divas who take themselves too seriously. Katy is able to do serious videos, Thinking of you is fantastic and The one that got away is very good too

Paganism all over that video. Not a fan but still a cool visual video. I did expect something more in line with the song itself.

Doesn't look like the video provided much of a sales boost- but since it's been smashing for weeks now, probably was expected?

I actually think the video is really cute. However, I can't believe they spent what looks like millions on a video that is too late and unecessary. They should have put that money into the next video.

I thought the video was great...definitely reminds me of Michael Jackson Remember The Time.
I can see why there was a delay. Lots of money spent on that one.

I guess they're not going to release "Walking On Air" to radio are they?

He just felt like such an afterthought. The video looked very pleasing, but it was just bizarre to me. But I still love the beat. So addicting! Wish they would have released an urban remix with Katy just doing the chorus and get like 4 rappers to be on it

Juicy J is the one with the carriage? oh. I honestly thought it was some random ass black guy and all I focused on was the carriage hydraulics. That gets one huge ass WTF tbh. The ending reminded me of that commercial with the imagine spot where the Doberman and the chihuahua were bred together and it looked like some weird apocalypse.

The video is a bit of a mess. I get what they were trying to do (Katy's quirky and funny y'all); I just believe they failed in their delivery. The video is just too much from front to back. Still love her and the song though and, hey, the colors throughout the video are visually stunning. To be honest I was hoping for a really sinister/dark video with a style in the vein of Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow. That would have been something refreshing from Katy, as opposed to an umpteenth serving of her kitsch humor.

Doesn't look like the video provided much of a sales boost- but since it's been smashing for weeks now, probably was expected? It's definitely helping the album more, The album on Itunes moved from #24 earlier today to #17 now, so the video did give it a boost.

Can the video block Happy on billboard next week? I don't think so, Happy just got a +7 million update. I don't ever remember seeing something like that without the being a panel change or being after Christmas.

The Hot AC AT40 plays it without Juicy J. I hope it's not an official edit because the instrumental between the second chorus and the final pre-chorus is only 1 bar and it feels too short.
