Story of my Life already debuted, did it not? Yes it is, it debuted @ no.6.... What I mean was that if is there a chance for Story Of My Life to be able to raise its peak at no.1 this week cause the video comes out this week and it will surely get high streaming which is unpredictable and probably makes also the chart rankings almost unpredictable too............ Impossible, sorry.

Wouldn't say impossible, but those streams would have to be REAL high to challenge for No. 1. "Best Song Ever" had 7.9m or so streams when it debuted at No. 2 (and that include the video release, I believe).

It's top 20 on iTunes, but the video probably wouldn't cause such a surge that would get it to No. 1. Unless it was a "moment" (i.e. "Wrecking Ball"), which I would not expect from One Direction.

Not likely. It has about 23 million views right now after 6 days of release, but remember only the views from the US are used. It'll probably move up to #3 or #4, maybe #2, but #1 seems unlikely. Lorde will be ahead by a lot on both airplay and sales, while only trailing by a little in streaming.

So how will Say Something chart, since there are two versions, one without C.A., do all the points get totaled together. I always get confused when there are two versions, but with an additional artist on one.

Multiple versions of tracks are combined for sales- it's like remixes. The original is the same sound and lyrics to the one that was performed, I imagine?

I always get confused when there are two versions, but with an additional artist on one. All points will be added together. Since it's highly likely that the version with Christina Aguilera will be making up the majority of the points, though, it will be credited to both artists. For example, "S&M" by Rihanna had that remix with Britney Spears that helped it shoot to number one. Well, since the version with Britney Spears made up more points than the version without her that week, Britney was credited that week only at #1 with Rihanna. Another good example is "Summertime Sadness." Cedric Gervais has always been credited on the Hot 100 with Lana even though both versions were popular. It's just that the Cedric Gervais remix had consistently more points.

^Depends on streaming, for which it doesn't look like there's a huge amount. And airplay is small at the moment. On the sales side, even with the second version added in, it's at No. 3 on iTunes and dropping pretty steadily now.

I feel like The Monster will be #1 next week. I'm doubting about The Monster being no.1 this week.... its sales will probably decrease. Maybe it's airplay will increase and also its streaming but it is not enough to beat royals i think. Royals is still leading on radio and still behind The Monster on sales and probably has more streaming than The Monster though... By the way, check it out Bruno Mars' Remix of Gorilla..... Bruno Mars feat. R. Kelly & Pharrell - Gorilla G-Mix

Whats going on with White Walls? The previous singles are long dead and it's getting decent updates but it hasn't gone anywhere yet.

Who knew that when Applause debuted back in August that it would still be gaining at radio on the eve of the album's release??
Amazing.
It's still my fave first single from the 4th Quarter releases.
