I also think there's something to be said for Taylor not having worked with him on her own material. That bitch is desperate as fuck to be labelled a "pop superstar" (she's already a superstar, but she straddles country/Pop up until now) and hasn't been shy about mining Max Martin for help. Why she hasn't touched Luke to me indicates something is going on (i.e. she heard some shit and stayed away).

we honestly don't know... Dr. Luke used to maintain an account on pulse some years ago, around the time of My December and Avril's 'Girlfriend'. He stopped posting around the time Katy Perry broke out, and presumably hasn't logged on since. He was incredibly complimentary of the artists he worked with, but very critical of those who opted not to (Clarkson).

Maybe it's just a random person and it's not really him It was really Dr. Luke. He was weird at times but divulged a lot of information.

At the very least he definitely hasn't logged in (at least with that same account) since V5.

I had no idea he was really confirmed! :o Yea, he could be quite the ass at times (he was in regards to Kelly) but he had a lot of cool information. Always thought it was funny how he hated on Kelly (who didn't want to work with him) but sung praises for Paris Hilton (who he worked with on her debut album) when the talent level between the two is so obviously different. It was just clear he had a superiority complex.

I swear he was nasty to Pink too at some point. He was basically like a child-throws temper tantrums when someone dares not worship him. I guess that could be said about a good portion of the industry though.

I swear he was nasty to Pink too at some point. He was basically like a child-throws temper tantrums when someone dares not worship him. I guess that could be said about a good portion of the industry though. Look at the number of female artists who don't work with him anymore: Pink, Kelly Clarkson, Britney Spears, The Veronicas all haven't gone back to him, despite the fact that he produced successful songs for each of them. Dr. Luke is a known control freak, his roster is full of, almost exclusively, young women (Kesha, Becky G, GRL, Sabi(!), Bonnie McKee) that he discovered while they were poor, struggling artists. Is it possible that he leveraged his power position as a label head and producer to coerce young women? Yes, just like many powerful men have in the past. That's the part that stands out to me. If Kesha's claims are true, then it's highly likely she was absolutely, 100% not the only woman this happened to over the years. Are there more people ready to come forward? Is her team planning on trickling out info/victims' statements in order to ratchet up the pressure on him? To me, that's what this is hinging on right now.

All this stuff is so sad! I believe in Kesha and I'm happy she did it. :(

I saw her lawyer on one of those nighttime TV shows saying another female pop artist had similar claims about him, and was scheduled to be deposed soon.

It's awful, but if it's all true, and with a second person seems very likely, hopefully Dr. Luke gets put out of business for good.

Her prior deposition stating there were no roofies and no sexual relationship will definitely question her credibility, but another female's testimony would help. And her attorneys had to have known it was out there on record, even if sealed. Right now they both kinda look like assholes and this case isn't going to be pretty for either of them. and I hate Dr. Luke and would love nothing more than his untalented ass being dragged through the media .

Wayne Coyne says Kesha's fear of Dr Luke stopped them collaboratingFlaming Lips frontman claims ‘spectacular’ collaborative material was held back to appease the producer Kesha has since accused of sexual assaultWayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips has said that Kesha’s fear of the producer Dr Luke prompted her to cancel a proposed collaboration with the band. Kesha sued Dr Luke – real name Lukasz Sebastian Gottwald – for sexual and physical assault this month, but Coyne claims he saw evidence of the friction between the pop star and her svengali more than a year ago. “The stuff that [the Lips and Kesha] did together was just spectacular,” Coyne told Radio.com. “I think we did like four or five songs, and then Kesha would remind me, ‘Wayne, I can’t put this music out. Dr Luke will kill me.’ I was like, ‘Oh! I didn’t know!’” At the height of their collaboration, in early 2013, Coyne was unabashed in his enthusiasm. “[Kesha’s] funny, she’s humble. She’s badass,” he said in a Reddit AMA. Following a one-song team-up on the Lips’ Heady Fwends compilation, the artists were allegedly working on a full-length album called Lip$ha. “We just went to her house, and it was just her and us,” Coyne recalled. “There wasn’t anybody else there, there wasn’t anybody telling us what to do. It was our songs, and we recorded until about four in the morning, and then we went home.” “I don’t know Dr Luke at all, but when [Kesha and I] speak, I [know] there [was] some anxiety about their relationship,” he went on. “I think she would like to have the freedom to do more things in that spirit ... Where it’s not producers producing her.” Coyne still hopes the Lip$ha material will see the light of day, even “if it takes five years to come out”. Kesha just needs to become “the king of her own destiny”, as Miley Cyrus has been able to do. “I don’t really know the situation – only they do – [but] I hope it works out,” he said. Dr Luke has filed a countersuit following Kesha’s allegations, calling her claims an “outrageous fiction that will go down in flames”. On 21 October, the producer’s lawyers produced a deposition from 2011, in which Kesha swore that he “never made sexual advances at me”. “Unfortunately, protecting abusers out of fear happens all too often with battered women,” the singer’s lawyers replied. “[Luke] threatened to destroy Kesha’s life and the lives of her family if she didn’t cover up his sexual assaults.” The court case continues. Now this is what I love about Kesha. I knew she could sing a good love song. Since her direction in music is changing, I can't wait to hear what else Kesha has in store for her fans. Kesha rocks.

'Lover' is... phenomenal. Like, I would love for this to be the direction she goes in. Lily and Kesha are tight, so I don't think this is meant to be in bad taste or that she's "making fun" of the situation. I think she's bashing Luke more than anything-- it just might be a bad way to go about it. She's great, but Lily Allen doesn't always get it right lol.

That "Lover" song appears to be a 3 months old album track by Spookey Ruben, with Kesha as a feature.
