I thought We are Young took off because it was in the graduation episode on Glee when Kurt, Rachel, Finn and the others were supposedly leaving the show. I know it was after that that I started hearing it on the radio.

That caused it a big boost in digital sales, but it was falling like a rock in that department until Chevrolet used it in their SuperBowl commercial just a few weeks later. It took two big exposures like that before it finally stabilized and radio took notice. |
