"Vanity" is a JAM! I would definitely move "Bobblehead", "Little Dreamer", and "Monday Morning" to the standard and make "Elastic Love" track #2.

Yeah I love Vanity! It's cheesy but in such a flawless way lol. I Hate Boys and My Girls have got to be some of her worst songs ever.

If I were an RCA heavyweight and had the ability to choose the Bionic track list it'd be this:
1. Bionic 2. Monday Morning 3. Elastic Love 4. Little Dreamer 5. Woohoo ft Nicki Minaj 6. Not Myself Tonight 7. You Lost Me 8. I am 9. Lift Me Up 10. Glam 11. My Girls ft Peaches 12. Birds of Prey
much more cohesive imo

Which songs would you take out? I feel like tracks like Not Myself Tonight and My Girls should be removed and put all the deluxe edition tracks on the regular Basically the three songs with Polow da Don were the ones added to the album for radio hits (hence two of them being singles). Add on the deluxe edition tracks and (ignoring interludes) it becomes a more cohesive 16 track album.

It's actually been a long time since I've listened to Bionic in full. I usually skip straight to the ballads. The non-ballads aren't as bad as I remembered. The only song I hate is "Vanity," although "Bobblehead" and "Birds of Prey" are down there and "My Girls" and "I Hate Boys" can get irritating.
1. Bionic 2. Prima Donna 3. Glam 4. Not Myself Tonight 5. Woohoo 6. Morning Dessert [Intro] 7. Sex For Breakfast 8. I Am 9. My Heart [Intro] 10. All I Need 11. Little Dreamer 12. Stronger Than Ever 13. You Lost Me 14. Lift Me Up 15. I Am [Stripped Version]

Some "news" about the single/album:
'Dancing With My Love' is a lame title, but I wouldn't be mad if she worked with Luke, Sia, and Cirkut. I just don't believe that they would be dumb enough to release her single in December.
Anyway, to join the conversation, I think Bionic is pretty good as is. The only songs I would consider removing are 'Sex for Breakfast', 'All I Need', and 'My Girls', plus all of the intros, which are completely unnecessary.

Her comeback will probably be closely aligned with her return to the next season of the voice, which is this spring or winter?

As long as it's nothing like the Lotus roll-out they should be good. How credible is that site saying she's working with Dr. Luke/Cirkuit/Sia?

News of that track was leaked in January of 2012 and the song finally materialized like 8 months later. NOBODY believed that she would have a song titled, F#ck Your Body.

"Dancing With My Love"? Sounds interesting. I would love it to be a house/dance anthem in the vein of "We Found Love" but it'll probably be a generic pop mid tempo, nevertheless I'm here for new album rumors. I still remember the "Your Body" rumors that came out a year before Lotus so this may eventually become credible over time.

I don't even know what I want from the first single. On one hand, I'd love an uptempo dance or hip-hop track, but only if it turned out more like 'Ain't No Other Man' and less like 'Let There Be Love' (meaning, not faceless and generic). On the other hand, she does mid-tempos and ballads so well that I wouldn't mind if she went in that direction, either. Tough call.

I adore Sia, but NO NO NO Dr. Luke and Max Martin.
I think Christina is one who can't get away with the faceless, generic stuff as easily as others, and I'm here for the gems she CAN deliver.
I love LBL, RHKL, but Christina's too good for that s*hit, regardless.
I was listening to NMT the other day and became baffled all over again as to why it didn't smash.
Her vocals were FIRE and that hot beat perfect for the clubs.

Red Hot Kinda Love isn't generic or faceless at all in my opinion!! ^^ RIGHT?! That is another hit that never was. It's definitely her best uptempo in years. RHKL had that throwback feel to the B2B Era with a great modern twist. It should be a reference track if she wants something to harken back to that time.

Billboard selected Christina's cover of "Mother" as one of their favorite John Lennon covers in celebration of his birthday. Christina Aguilera, "Mother"One of Lennon's most personal songs is also one of Christina Aguilera's best covers. Lennon ended his version with soul-tearing screams, but Aguilera sings the repeated refrain of "Mama don't go / Daddy come home" at the end in total rock mode, sounding equal parts Etta James and Robert Plant.

I think I remember that as well but this may be in reaction to the highly positive audience response that they've seen with Pharrell. I've really enjoyed him as a judge.
I'm curious to see if this now means that Pharrell and Christina will work together musically. We all know this show is infamous for judge collaborations - but here we've got more than just another singer. We've got a producer right next to our girl who is working on an album.

I'm probably in the minority, but I'm stoked she'll be retuning to The Voice. She gives actual critiques without repeating "You're so amazing, you're gonna be a huge star" s*it.
I'm iffy about the next record, due to the quality of the last one, and questions about the shape of her vocals.
Hopefully, this new record and the birth of her daughter DID inspire her to clean up her act a bit.
Christina has never really been great at following/executing modern trends, but it would awesome for her to find some middle ground and stick with it, instead of doing s*it collaborations to keep her name out there. People are here for her when she tones it down and lets the emotion shine; girl needs to take the hint if she cannot quite do what she once could. Adjust the image and vocal style just a tad, and she could still do some great stuff.

She's proven she can clean her act up by becoming more relatable during season 5. I'll never forget the Janet/Michael slayage when she did "Black Cat/Scream/Bad" medley!!!!!!!

She can record an album full of nursery rhymes as long as it's going to be a project she FULLY supports AND promotes. If I get one more Christina era with halfhearted single releases and NO tour, I'm done.

If I get one more Christina era with halfhearted single releases and NO tour, I'm done. I agree she needs promo, but it seemed to me the lack of a tour and proper single releases had more to do with the label than Christina herself. An artist isn't going to tour if there's no solid return investment, and I'm not sure the market to see Christina live is there in 2014. I agree on the lack of promo for YB (mess), but her label clearly gave up after the underperformance of JAF. Even if she wants to push this next project, she has to have public intrest and a label WILLING to push her.
