I agree she needs promo, but it seemed to me the lack of a tour and proper single releases had more to do with the label than Christina herself.

An artist isn't going to tour if there's no solid return investment, and I'm not sure the market to see Christina live is there in 2014.

I agree on the lack of promo for YB (mess), but her label clearly gave up after the underperformance of JAF.
Even if she wants to push this next project, she has to have public intrest and a label WILLING to push her.

I'm not blaming single releases and promo on Christina - I know that's the label - BUT touring is all her and her management team and I know that fans will buy tickets before they buy albums these days. She could've done smaller venues and sold them out with no problem because she is still revered as one of the best voices of her generation and is still a popular reference for vocal power in pop culture. They may not be well versed in the new music but people would gladly pay to hear the hits especially because she's taken so long to hit the road.

If a Macy Gray can sell out a tour, a Christina Aguilera certainly can.

Make The World Move was s*hit, MLJ was pure radio fodder, and JAK was a good song with two mismatched vocalists.

I actually love all three of those songs lol. If anything, MLJ is my least favo simply because it has the least amount of Legendtina.
