"Yeah, I'm in this bitch with the terror Gotta handful of stacks, better grab an umbrella I make it rain, I make it rain I'm in this bitch with the terror Gotta handful of stacks, better grab an umbrella I make it rain, I make it rain, I make it rain on them hoesI make it rain, I make it rain I make it rain, I make it rain, on them hoes"

counting stars is such an unlucky song!It stocked at #2 for many weeks in many charts of the world. I don't want BB hot 100 be one of those charts which CS stocked at #2!

Well, One Republic should promote CS more often if they really want it to become their first no.1 ever...... Dark Horse is coming like a perfect storm and surely the next no.1 in the near future and it might block CS in hitting no.1

Timber is the worst #1 since We Found Love imo. Oh well. :( Hopefully Pitbull's next single is better. You do like Harlem Shake then? What about 'Whistle'? Yes, I prefer Harlem Shake and Whistle over Timber and We Found Love. There's millions of other people that like Harlem Shake and Whistle too!

I wonder if we'll get a breakdown of DWUW's sales between the original and the Christina version?
Also kudos to Ellie for getting into the radio top ten!
And for what it's worth, I had a dream that Counting Stars went to #1. I also dreamt they lowered the streaming component to just 10%. Perhaps I should be concerned that I'm dreaming about chart formulas.

I find it interesting how Demi's version is exactly 11 spots behind Idina's two weeks running. Will the trend continue?! I'm a little surprised Idina's version is outpacing Demi's. I'm assuming Demi's was meant to be the radio friendly version. I love the song either way. I just know Idina's better because I saw the movie. Edit: I just noticed that there are four tracks from the soundtrack on the hot 100. What was the last soundtrack to do that? High School Musical?

Is this Idina's first top 40 (now 30) hit on Billboard? Did she ever hit the charts for her solo efforts? (which I loved)

I know she's made it having been featured on some Glee songs, but not sure if she was credited.

Counting Stars to me is such an unlikely hit. I'd love to see the lead singers royalty checks, the guy's written so many songs lately. Would have been cool if Katy had 2 songs in the top 10. lol @ Blurred Lines back in the top 20. and Cassadee Pope :( such a great song that never hit big.

Let It Go probably has the edge on streaming as well, the official Let It Go scene from the movie is getting lots of views. Anyway, I hope Idina's will go top 20

Idina was prominently on Glee's "Poker Face" - got to #20, but she wasn't credited.

lol @ how Unconditionally is at a higher position on digital songs than it is on radio songs...seems rather unexpected as it's more of a radio hit...

I really hope the success of Pitch Perfect and now Frozen lead to more studios producing musicals. We really haven't got a true taste of a hit musical in the digital era outside of whatever Disney Channel was offering. (Remember when "Breaking Free" peaked at #4? Lol.)

The only reason you love to start with me is because I dont agree with your taste in music. I am not a stan of Rihanna as so many are on here. Yet you continue to always comment on my posts when you dont know a thing about me. DO YOU HONEY dont listen to people on this board, speak your mind and f**k em. You dont have to explain to markg why or why you dont like anything. #bullies. Thank you for this. I do always speak my mind about everything. We all have our own tastes in music. In 20 years maybe I will add some of these horrible songs to my playlists as I have with some of the stuff I didn't listen to in the 80's and 90's. There will always be an artist of song I dont like and as this board continues I will continue to comment on these songs that I feel are a waste of airtime on the radio and a waste of brain cells people lose listening to them.

^ I'm glad you are so self-actualized, westlife. Baby, you're a firework and beautiful no matter what they say and pretty pretty please, don't you ever, ever feel that you're nothing less than perfect.
HOWEVER, what is to be gained in this forum by making it clear what you dislike? I would find it much more helpful to know what you do like. Then it points me to something I may not have listened to before.

If I bitched about what I don't like on the Hot 100 or at #1 every week, I'd be bitching every week. Eventually you need to accept that your age puts you outside the target audience of most mainstream music.
