I don't see how Bruno suppose to be excited about any of this remembering how little he talks about his past in interviews BUT... PETE HERNANDEZ : Book and a movie are in the making:
Bruno Mars' father, Pete Hernandez talks about the book he's writing "From Brooklyn To Mars" in a recent interview with wcobm.
the book Pete Hernandez is writing is about how he grew up in Brooklyn, his father (Bruno's grandad) having a Latin band, Pete forming his own group and how he instilled the love of music into Bruno.
Pete Hernandez Says there are plans to turn his book into a movie and a screenplay is currently being written. He hopes to get Tom Hanks involved as the Executive Producer. Says that Bruno would play him when he was young man.
I’m finishing my book which is called “From Brooklyn To Mars” which is basically my father starting his Latin orchestra then me starting my career in Brooklyn and then taking it to Hawaii and then Bruno taking it from Hawaii to Mars and from there we’re turning it into a screenplay. We have somebody writing and we’ve been working with Tom Hanks and we’re hoping he’s gonna be the executive producer on it.~PAPA MARS.

Honestly, I think Bruno is way too secretive about ANYTHING to overlook that his pal posted lyrics from his unreleased song, but since it's been posted by Ari a man who proudly admitts he doesn't do much apart from working w/ B. it's a way of A) letting his fans know they're working B) teasing them, imho. Here's another message to the fans, this time posted by Bruno: https://instagram.com/p/0J3Pv9u85B All he's revealing is that he's still a funny goofball, but more importantly he's in the studio, working. There is like 6-7 pictures from the "Jukebox" recording sessions, several tweets & that's it. I bet he'll keep his mouth shut till his new album is ready, only letting his fans know he's alive and well from time to time.  |

For a couple of wks, there's a speculation that the monsterous success & consistency of Uptown Funk messed up release plans of the new album and pushed LP3 to the late 4th q. of 2015. If this turns out to be true... It will mean 3yr gap between albums.
...very bold move for someone who's been active recording artist for only +5yrs, imho.

The initial artists are now confirmed for "Broadway Sings Bruno Mars”, the eighth installment of the acclaimed Broadway Sings concert series. Some of Broadway’s current, brightest talents will sing completely new arrangements of the hits of funk superstar Bruno Mars, accompanied by a full band playing brand new, original orchestrations of the singer’s greatest songs. The previous sold-out shows included Adele, Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse, Justin Timberlake, and P!NK.

Uptown Funk already gave Bruno so nuch momentum that if he release his album right now, it will probably open with 300k+. Wondering if UF will be included in Album #3 (As a bonus track, maybe?)

None of his features were included on his studio albums. I don't see why he would make an exeption with UF!. As crazy as i may sound now: it's still just his filler single. He didn't even openly aknowledge it's huge success ever since it became BB Hot 100 #1. It seems unlikely that his new LP is dropping anytime soon, so for me 250k-275k opening seems more reachable if the new era has similar start to the 'Jukebox' album. |

Hooligans are having a major meltdown right now. His performance was taken off yahoo live stream just after three songs they're not liking it. It only shows how much they are craving for a real live DVD from him... What makes it even more unreasonable is that it's not a secret they recorded his concert in Paris during MJ tour. Like... What the hell are they STILL waiting for?
