If I were a radio PD, I would have my interns request LIG as many times as possible on my key competitors' stations. Hearing the song on the air is the quickest way to get someone to switch the station. I know I'm not the only one who does.

Love Is an open door debuted at #49 on the Hot 100 this week due to a viral video of two parents lip-synching to it. That makes it the 5th song off of the album to chart on the Hot 100.

I liked Frozen and Let It Go worked well in the context of the movie, but I heard LIG on the radio for the first time this week (a Pop station) and it was totally jarring. Then the next song was Dark Horse, so that was weird hearing them back to back.

With the #48 debut on the final update, not only does she tie her Pop peak position (Minuet also peaked at #48), but she also joins an extremely rare club of acts who skipped a decade between pop hits. (And if Prince can keep it up, he can join the club right behind her!)

This song is already historical. I don't really mind if it's reputation is not undermined by weeks of oversaturated radio play. It's in its own league IMO.
