Obviously people love this song, but ignorant top 40 PDs are passing on this cause it doesn't feature Pitbull. They are missing out. The people are speaking.

This is why streaming is a very good thing for the Hot 100. Even though Pop is completely shunning this song, it can still go top 5 without radio support.

You guys do realize that this song sounds completely different on the radio than on your iPods, right? This is totally jarring on radio and straight up doesn't work. The fact that it's this high is outstanding.

I think like most Disney movies of the 90s and what not, that Demi Lovato's version was intended to be the radio hit, but it never took off. Idina Menzel's version wasn't meant to go to radio. |

This is really good, but the arrangement is holding it back at radio. If they tweak the production, slightly redo the vocals to be more straightforward and cut out the bridge (which is the most jarring part imo), this would be much more suitable.

This does not need to be a radio hit. Everyone knows this song. It's huge. Moreso than the majority of songs that get played on pop radio. We are past the age where pop radio is the best measurement of a songs' success. (Assuming that was ever an age to begin with, anyway.)
Also, there has never been a song less suited for a dance remix.

I saw Idina's new show, "If / Then" on Broadway last night. Really loved it...and she was in great voice. After the curtain call they were doing a fundraiser for Broadway Cares: Equity Fights AIDS. Two people in the audience donated $4,000 each to get Idina and Anthony Rapp (who is also in the show) to sing "Seasons of Love" from Rent. When I was there last week, they auctioned off a cue card from a morning show appearance Idina did a few weeks ago that had lyrics from Let It Go and her autograph but the songwriters' autograph on it. It went for $5,000, after Idina sang a few lines from Let It Go, of course. ;)
