NEW YORK – October 21, 2016 – Today, Showtime Networks and MADONNA have announced that her highly-anticipated concert film, MADONNA: REBEL HEART TOUR will premiere on December 9 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on SHOWTIME, on-air, on demand and over the internet. The set list for MADONNA: REBEL HEART TOUR spans all decades of the iconic superstar's illustrious career, including songs from Rebel Heart (the No. 1 dance hits "Living for Love" and "Bitch I'm Madonna") to classic fan favorites like "Material Girl" and "Holiday" and a "Dress You Up" medley that included "Get Into The Groove," "Everybody" and "Lucky Star." Memorable highlights from the tour include her first-ever live concert performance of "Take a Bow," acoustic versions of "Like A Prayer," "Secret" and "Don't Tell Me.” At each tour date during the song "Unapologetic Bitch," Madonna would bring someone up from the crowd to dance with her during the song. Some nights it was a fan, another night it was Katy Perry. Other guest dancers included: Amy Schumer, Ariana Grande, Jessica Chastain, Idris Elba, Diplo, Gwendoline Christie, Graham Norton and Anderson Cooper.

Produced by Live Nation Global Touring, the Rebel Heart Tour kicked off on September 9, 2015 in Montreal and visited arenas in 55 cities on four continents over seven months. Madonna performed 82 shows, plus a special fan club show in Melbourne. The tour grossed $169.8 Million with 1,045,479 in attendance, making her the top grossing touring female artist in the history of Billboard Boxscore with over $1.31 billion in ticket sales sold over the course of her career. Madonna is also the fourth top grossing touring act (behind The Rolling Stones, U2 and Bruce Springsteen) since tracking began in 1990.

The Rebel Heart Tour was directed by Jamie King with musical direction by Kevin Antunes (the band's keyboardist Ric'key Pageot, drummer Brian Frasier-Moore, guitarist Monte Pittman, and background vocalists Kiley Dean and Nicki Richards), lead choreography by Megan Lawson, hair by Andy LeCompte, makeup by Aaron Henrikson, and costume design by Arianne Phillips.

When you are cut from the same cloth it is to be expected and she should've picked up on that by now. Gaga and her team should have a disposable answer ready at all times to get it over with, but coming back with this "I'm different" attitude and knocking down somebody else's work ethic that she has no firsthand knowledge of is just crazy.

"Everybody" was cut from the medley early in the Rebel Heart Tour. So it wouldn't be part of the broadcast, unless they filmed one of the early performances and interspersed it into the show.

Completely agree. I get Gagas frustrations but even I have canned answers to questions I hate ("what kind of lawyer are you?", "why are you still single") and I don't have millions of dollars of PR behind me.

1 thing that bothers me about the backlash here against the Gaga comments...people kind of said the same thing about Prince when he passed that LG is saying about herself (that unlike M he was a "real" artist) and we allowed it to slide...just because he was a guy? I think women are so undervalued in the industry and I hate to see these double standards. I disagree across the board with the idea that these other pop stars are so superior, be it Gaga or Prince. (Besides, M plays a mean cowbell.)

The thing with Prince was that he literally produced and wrote all his material and birthed from his own writing and instruments other artists as well. Madonna went to Prince and not the other way around. He commissioned and directed his own videos for awhile, cult classic movies, and stage shows. He played the instruments on a majority of his work pre and post The New Revolution and The New Power Generation. There is clearly a difference between the artist he was and the one Madonna is still to this day. Man or Woman's world regardless Prince was on another level.

I've always felt like Prince was the King of Pop. He was so incredibly talented.

I think it might be an added benefit of her aging actually. I was literally having this conversation with my mother this week when I was visiting. She was discussing that she would like to gain a little weight (she is about 5'3" and about 110 pounds...tiny.) But she said, at her age, you either have a wrinkled face and a skinny ass or a smooth face and a fat ass. Lot's of older women try to keep their weight up a bit because it helps fill out the face. So perhaps, she gained some weight and it went to her ass. It is quite flattering as her body was getting way too skinny as she works out. She also tends to be a little heavier and curvier when she is not touring.

Who knows? Could also be she changed up her workout regimen to maximize her glutes?

I think 40 pounds is a stretch. She has a small frame and that much weight would show up a lot. I would guess somewhere around 10-15.

Hahah I remember this vividly. I was a junior in HS when this contest was going on. Our school's slogan was "True Blue" since our colors were blue and white and we were the Blue Devils. Since we were a bunch of geeks in the marching band and really into music, our marching band filmed a video of the marching band practicing on the field wearing our blue uniforms and all the twirlers (both baton and flag twirlers) doing some routine to this song. Good lord it was bad. We submitted it anyway....and promptly heard....nothing.

Funnily enough, I now work in marketing at Viacom and part of my job is promoting all programming on MTV.

"True Blue," the tune, is a nice homage to the girl-group era. M doesn't do many songs in this vein- "Cherish" would be the other big one with a similar sentiment.

The TB video probably captures that era, too, but with its buck-seventy-five or so budget, isn't one of her more memorable clips. Not that a video needs a a big budget to be effective- look at "Lucky Star."
