I LOVED her Carpool Karaoke. She showed that ass too! I enjoy when she talks a lot more than her social media presence though lately, her SM presence has been ok. Oh...she looked great but at her climbing out the car. Edit: Her Rebel Heart special is definitely NOT meant for ppl hungover or with epilepsy. But...OMG I can't believe Body Shop, Illuminati, and...CANDY SHOP! Yessssssss. Easily the best parts of the show. Material World was cute. Also, love that topless female dancer. Very unique to have that. This was a very good show. I was really turned off by Holy Water but otherwise, I was really into it.

The dancer was a nod to Josephine Baker.

M also had the topless dancer on Girlie Show (Carrie Ann Inaba from DWTS, and another one?), and on another tour (forget which off-hand). These are women with no-so-ample bosoms, though- imagine how even more scandalous if would be if it were the opposite.

Mainly it is because they tend to have very low body fat and imagine how uncomfortable it would be to jump around and do flips with DD cups :)

I saw the concert on HBO the other night and I must say she still puts on an excellent show.

Indeed, RH- just sayin' that, even to have a woman slide down the pole a la GS, and do just that- if she had a large bust, oh, the outrage. :)
QAF- that would be Showtime, and indeed. ;)

Yeah...at first, I thought that dancer was a man but it made sense when she was making a point about all the shirtless eye candy men. Like...that Black guy who kinda looked like Boris Kodjoe. No words. I got the Josephine Baker nod once the banana skirt went on. But yeah, overall, minus Holy Water, I was really into all of the aesthetics and the show overall.

www.billboard.com/articles/columns/chart-beat/7617649/ask-billboard-madonnas-career-album-salesAs for Madonna's career U.S. album sales since Nielsen Music began tracking retail in 1991 (through the week ending Dec. 8, 2016), here are her 10 best sellers: 5,992,000, The Immaculate Collection (1990) 3,891,000, Ray of Light (1998) 2,934,000, Music (2000) 2,336,000, Bedtime Stories (1994) 2,102,000, Something to Remember (1995) 2,025,000, Evita (soundtrack) (1996) 1,905,000, Erotica (1992) 1,734,000, Confessions on a Dance Floor (2005) 1,397,000, GHV2: Greatest Hits Volume 2 (2001) 751,000, Hard Candy (2008) Meanwhile, Madonna's most recent LP, 2015's Rebel Heart, has sold 238,000. Her career album sales in the Nielsen era stand at 28.5 million, making her the 34th-best-selling album artist in that 25-year-plus span. She ranks at No. 7 among women in the stretch; Mariah Carey leads with 55 million, followed by Celine Dion (52.6 million), 2016 Billboard Women in Music Icon award-winner Shania Twain (34.7 million), Britney Spears (33.5 million), Reba McEntire (30.5 million) and Taylor Swift (29.8 million). (Next up after Madonna among female soloists? New age queen Enya, at 27.3 million.) Looking at Madonna's digital song sales (since Nielsen began tracking downloads in 2003), 2008's "4 Minutes," featuring Justin Timberlake and Timbaland, leads with 3.1 million sold. She boasts two other million-selling downloads: 2005's "Hung Up" (1.4 million) and her 1989 classic "Like a Prayer" (1.1 million). Speaking of those years when Madonna released her earlier material, The Immaculate Collection sports the highest certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) among her catalog: Diamond, representing 10 million shipped. 1984's Like a Virgin is also certified Diamond for 10 million. Following are 1986's True Blue (7-times Platinum); Evita (5-times Platinum); and Ray of Light and Like a Prayer (each 4-times Platinum).

Our very own Holidayguy submitted that question to Billboard :)

I also had commented on the prior page that the 28.5m figure does not include Evita. Also WTG, but those numbers are pretty negligible.

The thing that is interesting about these numbers is that they are mainly representing her 2nd and 3rd decade of success. She has great post peak years numbers!.

I wonder what MDNA and Celebration are?

^Last figure for MDNA was 539k 2 years ago.
Celebration was supposedly 358k. No date was given.
I'm sure they haven't gone up by that much.

Are there any interviews where Madonna talks about recording/writing the Music album? I feel like there's so much out there where she talks about all her albums but with Music I can't really find anything where she goes in depth at all

Grr...the Billboard Women in Music show ran long and my TiVo cut off with more of her speech left to go. I now have to record it again and pad it by 10 minutes to be safe. What I saw of it was amazing. I am pretty sure that Lifetime edited some of it out, as the clips I saw online of it had more than what was broadcast.

Last night speech was incredibly powerful and moving and important in today's ageism and sexism society. I watched it with my family and friends, even my head banging hard metal father shed a tear.

I uploaded Madonna's entire tribute and speech from the Billboard Women in Music 2016 broadcast on Lifetime last night. I forgot to edit out the commercial break in the middle of it, so you can skip through it. Enjoy it before youtube takes it down ;)

Lifetime edited out the part of her speech where she says that Michael, Whitney, Prince, etc are gone and she is still standing.
