Please bring more "Blown Away"-type genre-bending songs and "Wine After Whiskey" country songs. Thanks in advance!

I don't know why, but I think Carrie will still record songs she likes but change things up a bit and surprise even her worse critics.

CD #5 will take Carrie Underwood from 2014 to 2015. I think then she should release a greatest hits CD after a decade in the business. Plenty of hits to put on it.

YES!!!!
I can't wait to see what she brings to the table this time. Of course, I'd like to see "Oklahoma Wind" FINALLY make it onto one of her albums but I won't hold my breath. I just really want her to surprise us with something different. What I mostly hope for though is a cohesive album. I love all of Carrie's albums, but with the exception of "Some Hearts" most of them seem like Greatest Hits compilations rather than albums with a particular theme in mind.

Having a 5th album era thread makes it feel more real! Can't wait to start getting co-write titles. I've been checking BMI but nothing new has been added yet.

ahhh I can't wait!!!
In the meantime, just for fun, how would you all have handled the singles from each album era?!
Here's how I would have done them:
Some Hearts: 1) Jesus Take The Wheel 2) Don't Forget To Remember Me 3) Before He Cheats 4) The Night Before (Life Goes On) 5) Wasted
Carnival Ride: 1) Flat On The Floor 2) All-American Girl 3) So Small 4) Just A Dream 5) Last Name 6) I Told You So
Play On: 1) Cowboy Casanova 2) This Time 3) Someday When I Stop Loving You 4) Songs Like This 5) What Can I Say
Blown Away: 1) Good Girl 2) Blown Away 3) Two Black Cadillacs 4) Do You Think About Me 5) One Way Ticket 6) Wine After Whiskey
(I do love See You Again, but I would been ok with it just being an amazing album track)

Carrie says she's not a mushy type person, but I think it's time for that EPIC love song from Carrie Underwood.

Any video from her award presentation last night? She looked beautiful. Oh and in RE: to "Oklahoma Wind", at this point, I don't really care about it anymore. The demo's a nice listen and it'd be a great HQ to have, but it's now been put through the mill twice with the PO era and the BA era. At this point, it can move on. Carrie got a new Madame Toussad's wax figure...? Anyone know where this one is/when this happened? Looks pretty good.

I'd like to get a Shania-like love song from Carrie. Something along the lines of "From This Moment On", "You're Still the One", "Forever and for Always", etc.

I'm beyond excited for new music from Carrie. And the TSOM involvement has made me even more excited to see what direction she wants to go next. Carrie has progressed so much in the last several years, I don't doubt she'll have some great surprises up her sleeve for album 5. Although Carrie has released several solid albums, I'm really hoping she'll switch producers for album 5. She's shown that she has a creative ear, and by all appearances she wants to move forward with that. I think a new producer would be a great thing, and it might give Carrie a fresh prospective, I'm hoping for more songs like Blown Away, Two Black Cadillacs, Good Girl, Wine After Whiskey, etc. As much as Carrie has been criticized for her song choices, I think she proved she does have an ear for music, and is developing as a great writer. I can't wait to see what she has in store, especially considering how much growth she's shown even since the start of the BA era. I've been a Carrie fan since the Idol days, but if I'm being honest she's only won me over from an artistic prospective within the last year and a half. I had doubts about whether she was going to be an artist I could see myself fully supporting for the long run; she's proven over and over she has the ambition to continue developing for the long haul. I really respect that Carrie knows how she perceived by a lot of people, and how hard she's worked to change that. God knows she could rest on her laurels the rest of her career and still be popular. Thank goodness there's one more artist out there still fighting to be the artist she wants to be.

Anyone think there's a possibility for new music here? I doubt it because the whole pre-taping thing would make it really hard to keep the single under wraps. So, I'm banking on a performance of "Just A Dream".

So, I'm banking on a performance of "Just A Dream". You can never say never. Last year, Lady Antebellum sang "Goodbye Town" and that was not yet out. That said, she's probably performing "Just A Dream" or "See You Again."

Well good for 19. Reading the article it sounds like Sony has been doing a lot of shady stuff. Good for them for sticking up for their artists.

I'm hoping Carrie drops the lead single sometime in May, and then performs it at the CMT Awards in June. Then the album can be released in September or October.
