My latest country purchases:

I've also ordered Chris Stapleton's Traveller, but it hasn't arrived yet. I've bought a number of pop/rock albums since then, as well.

Purchased this one at a thrift store today:
Ken Mellons - Where Forever Begins
They had a lot of country CD's there that, if I had more money, I would've had a large bagful of them.

Now That's What I Call A Country Christmas (impulse buy this afternoon, in the spirit of the season. I already owned about half the album, lol)
I also bought Where It All Began by Dan + Shay as a Christmas present for someone.

I forgot I also got Love And Theft's Whiskey On My Breath this week. Christmas shopping is dangerous as I usually buy stuff for myself too when I go out, lol.

I have never posted my collection because I'm too lazy, but since I recently reseted my laptop, I took the time to burn all my cds again, this time in high quality, so it's easier for me to make a list. I used to buy a lot more physical albums but it's getting a little too expensive to import them now, so I'm a little more careful and stingy lately lol Albums in green are national releases, so you can have an idea of what labels have released here in Brazil.

I do. I'd say up until a few years ago, 90% of my collection was female artists. Funny how nobody takes notice when a collection of music is mostly/all male artists.

Like female artists, Felipe? Yeah, totally! Although I can say I enjoy some male voices, I don't really listen to them. Just a few songs here and there, and that was even before I got into country music, so I think it's just natural.

Even though I love a lot of different styles of music, I think Country is the only style I still buy physical records regularly. I guess is because with country albums, I usually enjoy the whole record as opposed to just a few tracks... basically, they have less fillers that would prevent me from paying for a whole album or getting in digitally. I started my physical collection in 2000 when I became a fan of The Dixie Chicks and Faith Hill (I was 12!) so most my collection is from contemporary acts. I still have a lot to learn about older artists =(
Dixie Chicks - "Wide Open Spaces", "Fly", "Home" and "Taking the Long Way" Kacey Musgraves - "Same Trailer, Different Park" and "Pageant Material" Zac Brown Band - "The Foundation", "You get What You Give", "Uncaged" and "Jekyll + Hyde" Miranda Lambert - "Kerosene", "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend", "Revolution", "Four the Record" and "Platinum" Faith Hill - "Faith", "Breathe", "There You'll Be (Australian Import)", "Cry", "Fireflies" and "The Hits" Gretchen Wilson - "Here for the Party", "All Jacked Up" Brad Paisley - "Muds on the Tires", "Time Well Wated", "5th Gear" and "American Saturday Night" Julie Roberts - "Julie Roberts" and "Men & Mascara" The Band Perry - "The Band Perry" and "Pioneer" Brandy Clark - "12 Stories" Keith Urban - "Golden Road", "Be Here", "Love, Pain and the Whole Crazy Thing" and "Defying Gravity" Sam Hunt - "Montevallo" Ashley Monroe - "Like a Rose" and "The Blade" Kenny Chesney - "Greatest Hits", "When The Sun Goes Down", "Greatest Hits II", "Hemingway's Whiskey" and "The Big Revival" Carrie Underwood - "Some Hearts", "Carnival Ride" and "Greatest Hits" LeAnn Rimes - "Greatest Hits", "This Woman", "Family", "Spitfire" Sara Evans - "A Real Fine Place", "Greatest Hits" and "Stronger" Jamie O'Neal - "Shiver" and "Brave" Lee Ann Womack - "Call Me Crazy" and "The Way I'm Living" Eric Church - "Chief" Jewel - "Perfectly Clear" The Wreckers - "Stand Still, Look Pretty" Little Big Town - "Tornado" Shania Twain - "The Woman in Me", "Come on Over" and "Up!" Deana Carter - "Did I Shave My Legs For This" and "I'm Just a Girl" Reba - "#01s" and "Duets" Josh Turner - "Your Man", "Everything is Fine" and "Haywire" David Nail - "I'm About To Come Alive" and "I'm a Fire" Chris Young - "Neon" Rachel Proctor - "Where I Belong" Sarah Buxton - "Sarah Buxton" Martina McBride - "Greatest Hits" Sugarland - "Twice the Speed of Life" and "Enjoy the Ride" Trisha Yearwood - "Songbook" and "Heaven, Heartache and the Power of Love" Dierks Bentley - "Greatest Hits", "Feel That Fire" and "Riser" Rascal Flatts - "Greatest Hits" and "Unstoppable" Gloriana - "Gloriana" Laura Bell Bundy - "Achin' and Shakin'" Lady Antebellum - "Lady Antebellum", "Need You Now" and "Own The Night"
