Even more illuminati, notice the pattern. In 2012/2013 we had "22" hit the charts in 2013/2014 we had "23" hit the charts. Now we need some artist to make a hit song called "24". I thought there already was a song called 24 a few years ago or something! :O May I am mistaken I think those rumours started here and haven't actually taken off anywhere else and she can't call it 24. The Fox network would sue her.

Chicago's been titling its albums with numbers since the early 1970s, so that trend goes back quite a bit. ;)

K so I just heard that "Selfie" song on the radio...the instrumentals are pretty muched ripped right out of PSY's "Gentleman" and the lyrics are just...*takes gun and shoots self in the head* I just heard this song today and I totally liked it ~

Wow if Lorde goes over 200, would this be the first time there were THREE songs at the same time over 200?

but it wasn't popular untill 2011, close enough. #oops lets back back on topic. I am wondering if happy will beat Blurred Line's record. which record? the one for the largest weekly radio audience or for the most weeks of selling 400k+? I am quite certain it will beat the latter one...already two weeks of 400k and still increasing not to mention that Oscar effect is taking place this week; it's sure to get 6-7 weeks of 400k+!!! I was thinking the airplay audience, but It should beat Blurred Lines in hat as well. It's also not too early to ask if it could possibly sell 7 million. Btw, ADELE's 21 was released on 2/22/11 I just looked it up but it wasn't popular untill 2011, close enough. #oops lets back back on topic. ... It was released in 2011. I thought so.... I thought there already was a song called 24 a few years ago or something! :O May I am mistaken I think those rumours started here and haven't actually taken off anywhere else and she can't call it 24. The Fox network would sue her. Does that mean I can legally copyright the word "the"? I'll do it, and watch how money I get from people using my copyrighted word.

haven peaked yet That urban pop reign just won't let up. The song should have no problem being the #1 female song if it can sustain with longevity. Smart move on her team to pull a reversal and release the song to urban after it hits #1 on pop. It should keep it afloat and keep #2 and below at bay as the #1 female song. Happy is gonna be the #1 overall song of the year so I won't even try to hope for anything other than the obvious

Will "All of Me" end up as this year's biggest ballad hit? It's sure looking that way.

As I and others have said AOL will most likely..at the minimum end up the 2014 version/ chart battle of BL and GL from last year. 'Happy' is just too much of a multi format and sales monster for AOL to be a threat and hardly feels like its even remotely close to peaking yet (almost like it's still just taking off) lol! Unlike Blurred Lines which felt like it was about 1/2 way or more through its gas tank by this point.

I am so glad Justin Timberlake is getting good updates...for releasing 2 albums the same year it feels like he released 1 single and that was it...I understand part 2 wasn't very good, to me actually it sounds like a bunch of b-sides or throw aways....I believe there are 2 and a half good songs on it. And this is one of them so hopefully it makes a dent in the top 40.

Happy is going to be #1 for a long time, perhaps 10 weeks or more. The next #1 might not even be on the Hot 100 yet, or at least is pretty far down there.

Its unforgivable that Lorde isn't releasing Tennis Court.

I find Tennis Court kinda creepy...don't really like it...and I hope to God #Selfie doesn't get to #1, I'm gonna go Berzerk (like from the Eminem song) if it does (but in a bad way).

Is there any chance of "The Man" still hitting the top ten? A few weeks ago, I thought this was a shoe-in for top 5 but now I'm not sure it can even manage top ten.

"Timber", "Counting Stars", and "Say Something" would soon leave vacant places in the top 10. I can only see 3 other songs that may compete in each of those places (Let It Go, Show Me , Best Day Of My Life). BDOML may take a while to get near.
