is Sing really that great of a song? I really want to love it, but it's just ok. Hopefully it will grow on me more. Its average at Best. Derivative... Birthday Will Flop Harder than Unconditionally. As soon as the poor callout scores come out, Radio will drop it and it will disappear. Hush your mouth! (lol) I love Birthday. Can we please give it some time to grow before we question it's potential Top 10 status? I'm not that impressed with Sing either. There's not a lot of songs going for Top 40 radio adds in the next few weeks. But now as I typed that, I realized we have the new Michael Jackson track and the new Usher track out today.

18. IGGY AZALEA – Fancy: 65.898 (+ 4.061) ▲ ARIANA GRANDE – Problem f/Iggy Azelea: 28.616 (+ 4.462)
1 Ariana Grande - Problem (feat. Iggy Azalea) 1.0000 2 Iggy Azalea - Fancy (feat. Charli XCX) 0.7898
This Iggy domination is just unreal.

^Yes. www.hitsdailydouble.com/news/rumormill.cgiYOUR HOT NEW RELEASES: “Love Never Felt so Good,” the first taste of Epic’s Michael Jackson from-the-vaults set, Xscape, premiered on last week’s iHeartRadio Music Awards; now it arrives at Pop and Rhythm radio. And so does a new track from the guy who danced to it, RCA’s Usher. How fortuitous! TOP 40 Michael Jackson & Justin Timberlake, “Love Never Felt So Good” (Epic) Usher, “Good Kisser” (RCA) Jason Derulo f/Snoop Dogg, “Wiggle” (Warner Bros.) Rita Ora, “I Will Never Let You Down” (Columbia) Seven Lions, "Strangers" (Casablanca/Republic) RHYTHM Michael Jackson & Justin Timberlake, ”Love Never Felt So Good” (Epic) Usher, “Good Kisser” (RCA) Rita Ora, “I Will Never Let You Down” (Columbia) ALTERNATIVE Broken Bells, “Control” (Columbia) Nightmare and the Cat, “Undercover” (Capitol) Vampire Weekend, “Step” (XL) Because it’s Cinco de Mayo, you have to do a tequila shot every time one of these songs is played today. (5/5a)

Well that's definitely enough sales for Problem to debut in the top 5 even if it were without any airplay or streaming, but it will get some so it will probably debut at #3 like Payphone did two years ago (damn I can't believe it has already been that long)

www.billboard.com/biz/articles/news/chart-alert/6077511/michael-jackson-justin-timberlakes-love-never-felt-so-good-charts-radio-successMichael Jackson, Justin Timberlake's Duet Off To More Than 'Good' Retail, Radio Start By Gary Trust and Keith Caulfield | May 05, 2014 The lead track from 'Xscape,' the late King of Pop's album due May 13, is headed to this week's Hot 100 thanks to a strong first few days of sales, airplay and streaming. Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake's sleek new duet, "Love Never Felt So Good," will enter the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week following its first few days of availability. The song appears on "Xscape," an album of eight tracks of Jackson's vocals set to new music from Timbaland and J-Roc, Rodney Jerkins, Stargate and John McClain (a former A&M Records executive and co-executor of the Jackson estate). The set arrives May 13. "Good" premiered on Clear Channel Media and Entertainment's "iHeartRadio Music Awards," broadcast on NBC on May 1, and was then made available for digital purchase. (Instead of Timberlake, Usher danced to the song on the broadcast.) Fueling its Hot 100 start? Solid initial sales and airplay, which should send the song, available as a solo Jackson recording and in a duet version with Timberlake, onto this week's Hot 100 in the list's lower half. Streaming activity since its premiere will also contribute to its debut rank. While "Good" is not yet available across on-demand subscription services, it's has racked 960,000 views on YouTube so far, split between its official audio clip on Vevo (which was released May 1) and user-generated YouTube clips. Highlights of the Hot 100 will post on Billboard.com on Wednesday (May 7), while the chart will post in its entirety the following day. "Good" will mark Jackson's 49th Hot 100 entry and second since his 2009 death. "Hold My Hand," with Akon, reached No. 39 in January 2011. That collaboration was released from the posthumous "Michael " album, which debuted on the Billboard 200 at No. 3 and has sold 540,000 copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan. Jackson boasts 13 Hot 100 No. 1s, the most among solo males in the chart's 55-year history. Only the Beatles (20) and Mariah Carey (18) have totaled more No. 1s, with Rihanna also having notched 13 leaders. STRONG SALES Industry forecasters suggest that "Good" may have sold more than 60,000 downloads in the week ending Sunday, May 4. That sum would've been generated from only three full days of sales, as the song reached retailers late on Thursday (May 1), after its premiere earlier that evening. Certainly, "Good" is buoyed by the availability of the duet version with Timberlake, which accounts for the bulk of the song's overall sales. (Both the Jackson solo version and the duet are combined for sales tracking and charting purposes.) If "Good" debuts with more than 60,000 downloads sold, that would outpace the opening of "Hold My Hand." That song sold 19,000 in a similar opening time frame, and served as the first radio-promoted single from "Michael." It was released on a Friday (Nov. 19, 2010), so it had less than three full days of sales in its first week (ending Nov. 21). "Hold" then sold 44,000 in its first full week of availability (ending Nov. 28). RADIO ROLLOUT Meanwhile, "Good" has also garnered a strong response at radio and appears on track for a debut on the 50-position Radio Songs chart. As of this posting, the cut has drawn 31 million all-format radio audience impressions since its first plays on Friday. On this week's airplay charts (highlights of which will post on Billboard.com later today, while the full charts, along with all others, will update on Thursday), it makes multiple debuts, starting on Adult R&B (No. 19), Adult Contemporary (No. 23), R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay (No. 28) and Adult Top 40 (No. 40). As part of Clear Channel's promotional synergy after the premiere of the song on the "iHeartRadio Music Awards," "Good" received hourly plays the following day on a multitude of the company's pop, adult and R&B/hip-hop stations, greatly contributing to its airplay so far. Still, the station that has played "Good" the most is CBS Radio-owned AC KYXY San Diego (and, thus, did not contribute to Clear Channel's concentrated play). The station has given the duet 37 plays (though Sunday). "We loved the song the instant we previewed it," says KYXY program director Charlie Quinn. "It felt familiar and right in line with audience expectations for a Michael song." As for its long-term fortunes, Quinn is optimistic. "Timberlake and the production value definitely elevate it beyond a novelty." "Two icons coming together for a great groove," is how Alex Tear, Clear Channel vp of programming/Miami, top 40 national brand coordinator and PD of Mainstream Top 40 reporter WHYI, describes the track. The station has played "Good" 13 times through May 4. "Hearing and watching the debut [of 'Good' during the 'iHeartRadio Music Awards'] certainly played a role in inspiring listeners' passion and for them to request it. News traveled fast across the generations, lighting up social media and text requests all weekend." Tear concurs that the song could sustain widespread interest following its splashy start. "It's smooth and will certainly have a pop-culture impact. It's a great way to begin rolling into summer." Additional reporting by William Gruger.

Ariana Grande's 'Problem' Set for Record Sales Debut NEWS By Keith Caulfield, Los Angeles | May 05, 2014 6:09 PM EDT
Grande's "Problem" with Iggy Azalea is on course for a striking top 10 debut on the Billboard Hot 100
Ariana Grande's "Problem," featuring Iggy Azalea, is on track to score one of the biggest sales debuts ever for a digital song.
Industry forecasters suggest the tune may have sold more than 425,000 downloads in the week ending May 4. That would immediately place it among the top 10 biggest sales debuts ever, and perhaps the fourth-largest bow for a woman.
Its official sales figure, as compiled by Nielsen SoundScan, will be announced on Wednesday, May 7.
The largest ever debut for a song, according to SoundScan, was when Flo Rida's "Right Round" bowed with 636,000 downloads in the week ending Feb. 15, 2009. (SoundScan began tracking downloads in the summer of 2003, shortly after Apple's iTunes Music Store launched on April 28 of that year.)
"Problem" could also earn the 20-year old Grande the fourth-largest start for a woman, behind the launches of Taylor Swift's "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" (623,000), Katy Perry's "Roar" (557,000) and Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" (448,000). "Roar" is also the last song, overall, to have debuted with more than 400,000 downloads.
Further, Grande -- at 20-years old -- will become the youngest woman to debut with more than 400,000 downloads.
"Problem" is the first single from Grande's upcoming second album, which is due out in either August or September. The song was commercially released on Monday, April 28.
HOT 100 FORECAST
"Problem" is also on course for a striking top 10 debut on the Billboard Hot 100. That arrival will be owed largely to its presumed monster sales debut, but it has also seen a handsome start in terms of both airplay and streams. (The Hot 100 blends sales, airplay and streaming data to rank the most popular songs of the week.)
While "Problem" will likely fall short of debuting on the 50-position all-format Radio Songs chart, it should collect between 15-20 million in radio audience, according to Nielsen BDS, through the week ending Tuesday, May 6.
In addition, with streaming data available through May 2, "Problem" looks like it could make a top 20 debut on the Streaming Songs chart. In racked up more than 2.8 million streams in the week ending May 2 -- about evenly split between on-demand services and YouTube/Vevo on YouTube.
Highlights of the Hot 100, Radio Songs and Streaming Songs chart will post on Wednesday (May 7), while the charts in full will be revealed on Thursday.
"Problem" would grant Grande her second top 10 single on the Hot 100, following "The Way." That track, which debuted at No. 10 and peaked at No. 9, was the lead-off single from her debut set "Yours Truly." The latter debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 last year, and has sold 423,000 according to SoundScan.

As if Dark Horse is going to be above Happy in a few days again Dark Horse, Its Power.. It's going to fight for that Year End 1 we're only halfway in the billboard year, a new smash (ie: Problem, Fancy) could break it, there is still plenty of time for that to happen.

Is it possible Birthday doesn't reach the Top 10? It's sales are climbing crazy slow it's not going to reach the top 10, it is going to peak soon, the music video is out, and it was sent to radio, and it's not doing that well, so unless she gets to preform at some place in the next 2-3 weeks, no way it will reach top 10 (or maybe even top 20).

I'd say we can be about 85% sure that "All of Me" is #1.. Its radio and streaming leads should make up for the lag in sales. I don't think we'll see any new top 10s.. "Ain't It Fun," "Summer" and maaaaybe "Sing" aren't too far away from entering later on, though. I hope that "Not a Bad Thing" will fall short.

It has more than a million gap between the #2 song! Get that future #1 I-G-G-Y! She would be the first LEAD female rapper to get a #1 since Lauryn Hill in 1998.

WOW @ this thread... Put me in camp #Idon'tcaraboutpitbull I am loving a lot of the fresh songs on radio right now...I am loving Sing, maybe because it's so left field for Ed Sheeran...I am curious what his album will sound like. I am also loving Sleeping With a Friend by Neon Trees...it probably won't be that huge of a hit but it's very catchy. My JAM, though, is Rude by MAGIC!...that song is infectious...I'm definitely rooting for it. I have not heard Problem or Fancy enough to know if I like so...I'm sure before long I'll have no choice radio-wise...
