Justin now holds the record for most Pop Songs #1s (7) and most top 10s (17) among males. Does anyone know if he also holds the record for most entries by a male artist? He has had 25. Those records aren't overall tho, and you know that.

I count 26 entries for Timberlake (looking at both Radio & Records and Billboard's Mainstream Top 40 chart).
Also, I have 28 for Eminem, but not sure how that compares to other acts.
We have running lists (open to corrections/additions) in the CHR/Pop forum- it goes from the start of R&R through the present time.

What were T.I.'s singles before Whatever You Like/Live your Life? "Whatever You Like" was his 13th Hot 100 entry as a lead artist. The biggest hit out of the previous 12 was "What You Know" (#6) in 2006. edit: fixed year for "What You Know" "What You Know" actually peaked at #3. "Big Things Poppin'" and "Bring 'Em Out" both peaked at #9, making "Whatever You Like" his fourth top ten as a lead artist (plus 3 more as a featured act, including JT's #1 "My Love" on 2006). "Whatever You Like" was his 10th top 40 hit on the Hot 100 as a lead (and 16th including features). He was pretty well established by the time he had those big number one hits.

A week ago I would've cringed at the possibility of Iggy at #1 now I just wince. The chorus/hook reeled me in its hot. Just the verses I don't like.
The viral youtube clip of the cute father and his daughter singing Iggy made a difference because I forced me to listen to it again.

Glad to see that the first 4M+ update of these last few weeks goes to Fancy! Also NABT gaining, and who knows it might still be able to reach #1:) And TDFW has the weirdest updates lol one day it was the biggest update of the day and then the next few days it got negative update and now it suddenly hot another +1M update lol! and Problem will be top 10 tomorrow and Summer will reach it too soon after and Fancy will be top 3 in 2 or 3 days The only thing upsetting me here is that Dark Horse keeps gaining on Happy and I don't want Dark Horse to end up higher than Happy in the next few days :( IMO it's much more overplayed than Happy... It looks like Fancy has Hot 100 #1 on lock this week!

Twista had another hit? I only remember from him "Slow Jamz".
There's 18 weeks left for BEP at #1, they RULED that year.
Yay at "Fancy" heading to #1 like a rocket. :)

the summer of '84 was when I first started writing down the Top 40 in a notebook. dork. When Doves Cry was #1 and I was mad it blocked Dancing In The Dark from going to #1. lol.

I don't agree Lots of big singles came after 2004 re: Usher in 2004, we can say this about any artist, ALL artists who sit at the top of the music world eventually come back down. Fill in the blank artist < > from 19___ or 20__ who had hit after hit in those years can't can't get a top 40 hit in 2014. Lots and lots of examples

Now he's flopping 19 years after his first top 40 hit. However, he'll probably get one more round of hits before he's done. Good Kisser is just boring. He should move on from it....and act like it never happened.

Just because it took your fave 3 albums to sell 10M albums and Usher has a diamond album with 9 #1 hits in his whole catalog doesn't mean you can throw daggers...let him be. Usher remains a more versatile singer, dance and ACTOR...now that's saying something...now rock your body out of this thread and research Usher's legacy...u know u got it bad.
