Yes it's what got me into the song on first listen was thinking to myself why does it sound familiar like? Kept listening and hooked.

Holy, Fancy keeps topping itself...it's going to break the record for the most On-Demand streams in a week! It might crack 4 million! & lol Good Kisser was just 0.001M away from a 1M update... And why the f**k Ain't It Fun slowed down before reaching top 5?!?! YES rude top 20 on radio and top 10 on Spotify! Looks like it's going to be this week's Hot 100 new entry!

lol Fancy debuts on HAC...I guess I stand corrected about only 1% of 30+ people liking songs like that... It's so weird to see stuff like Iggy Azalea debuting on HAC airplay, Sam Smith debuting on Rock airplay, John Legend replacing Pharrell at #1 on AC airplay. If Miguel - Adorn was released today, it would probably be geting played on HAC, AC, triple A, etc.

^ I think they actually did play it on HAC lol 1 1 Can't Hold Us - Macklemore & Ryan Lewis feat. Wanz (5th and final week @ #1) Feat. Ray Dalton you mean?

I'm gonna throw a crazy idea out here: maybe your age doesn't completely dictate your music taste?
obviously certain acts are targeted at certain "demographics" by labels and marketing teams, but that doesn't stop some 50yo's from bopping along to Bieber or 13yo's for singing along to Tony Bennett. maybe we shouldn't just lump together everyone who's currently 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, and so on?

Tastes are specific to an individual and not tied to a radio format. 45+ could easily like the same things as the 30 somethings or the teens for that matter and it will hardly turn society upside down if a 45 year old happens to listen to a Justin Bieber song, for example. No rules are being broken if a 45 year old happens to listen to teen music, just stereotypes.

It's just atypical for an older person to listen to songs like Fancy but there isn't anything wrong with them listening to it whatsoever.

Right but that perception is based on stereotypes probably derived from the 'target audience' of a radio station.
People can listen to all sorts of things and have personal favorites. I might listen to one format that might not fit a particular stereotype and be deemed 'atypical' and still like it. I also have my personal favorites that may fall in a completely different format.
