"Come get it, bae" means pretty much the same as "when you're ready come and get it." "Bae" is just new-ish slang for your SO. What's SO? Significant other I think

"Come get it, bae" means pretty much the same as "when you're ready come and get it." "Bae" is just new-ish slang for your SO. What's SO? Significant Other. Bae is one of the most annoying newish slang words to me. I have a sort of irrational hatred towards any usage of that word, so it makes it hard for me to like the new Pharrell song. It's catchy enough I guess but I can't see it being a very solid followup to Happy.

PHARRELL WILLIAMS – Come Get It Bae: 36.984 (+ 0.276) Over-shadowed still by Happy? Or is it just a poor single choice? Discuss.... poor single choice. Gust Of Wind and Marilyn Monroe are much better songs. Also, after hearing 2+ minutes of the song, you have to change it, it gets quite annoying.

Crazy that "Chandeleir" is losing audience, when it's top 10 on iTunes. Ah, well.

This should remain top 10 for the next two weeks though. Loving the longevity.

Does Dirt have a chance to debut in the top 10 Hot 100 this week? It was number one on iTunes from Monday (or Tuesday, can't remember exactly) until yesterday. Plus, I think the video was released this week as well.

It will have over 200k downloads, + streams from the video + probably around 25M AI so yes I think it will debut within the top 10 easily.

Crazy that "Chandeleir" is losing audience, when it's top 10 on iTunes. Ah, well. And what's really strange is that (this is how I feel anyway) it's the type of some that seems like much more of an airplay monster than a digital seller (a la songs by Justin Timberlake, Maroon 5, Bruno Mars, etc.) so I would expect it to be the other way around - that is, a lot of airplay and not so much digital success...

VIRAL VIDEO ALERT:
We have a new music video that's on the brink of going viral! Colbie Callait's newest video for "Try" is taking off and making waves as it sends a powerful message of true beauty. The "Bubbly" singer's latest video features several women, including herself, in full make-up with digital enhancing slowly reverting to their natural looks as the video progresses. The song itself is about finding your inner beauty and letting it shine because looks aren't everything, hence the lyric "you don't have to try." Colbie has made it onto Facebook's trending topics list tonight, a sure sign of the video's viral power. Will Colbie get her first viral hit? It sure looks as so! Expect to see the video pop up on your news feeds soon.

That's to my point that it's not that relateable if huge fans of music don't know what it means I'll take "bae" over "shorty" any day! Can't even listen to those songs from late-90s early 2000s without cringing.
