She doesn't strike me as the type to want it to be a fluff piece based on how open she's been. I think the studio would push for it to be more true-to-life too- it's a better sell.

I don't know how you'd put the full scope of her career into film, though. The CShip by itself could be the entire film.

A biopic involving an artist can be genuinely good and not a fluff-piece (i.e. Rocketman) it just depends on the artist approaching it. It will also depend on the how the movie studio itself wants to approach this and what they want out of it (i.e. how much broad appeal they want, if they want it to be a major awards contender, etc.).

Honestly, I'm surprised she agreed to it given that the fact that she had 1) voiced frustration in the past about others speculating/wanting to turn her life into a movie and 2) found it too traumatic to even narrate her own audiobook.

It will certainly be interesting to see how this whole thing unfolds.

I am one of the biggest fans you'll ever meet of this woman, and if anyone knows my posting history here, they can confirm. But I just watch stuff like this and just am confused. Is it all an act? Is this a bit? Is this just playing a part to give people something to talk about?

The baby voice honestly makes me so irrationally mad because she's over 40 years old. We know that is not her natural voice. Enough. And it confuses me that these stars (who I honestly don't even care about!) actually pay tribute to her, and then she says weird stuff like this, sort of sh*tting on them.

It just leaves me confused. And maybe just makes me all around irrationally angry, because I KNOW she is a smart person. She's incredibly smart, incredibly capable. The real her was that 20 minute audio we heard at the conservatorship hearing a few years ago. That is the woman that is so incredibly awesome. But this person, I have no idea who this is. And maybe it's not that deep. she's earned the right to do whatever she wants after what she's been through. But I just don't get it.

Remember that MTV special they did during the Circus era where it was a flashback to all her iconic moments that she had to sit and talk about? She HATED every second of it.
