For no good reason and seemingly out of nowhere, The King of Darkness/Inability To Form Complete Sentences came after Britney for her IG posts. A little tardy for the party there, but...no surprise, it's Ozzy, LOL. Then, of course, the rest of that family had to chime in, calling her sad, poor girl, etc. Britney was like, "I'm not poor and you guys are the most boring family known to mankind!" I died. |

I believe the part about her considering her Insta to be “work”. She has said in a post a while back that she had ghost written some songs for other artists, so it’s plausible she kept some of them. But it’s probably more of a hobby at this point and the chances of it materializing into anything is slim to none, imo.

She likes writing and enjoys making music. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if she’s just making music for herself. Having said that, that doesn’t mean we’ll ever hear it.

So I watched Crossroads for the first time last week and I loved it. It has that nostalgic feel from that era that I miss in movies these days. And I actually think Britney did a great job. I know she said she didn't want to do more acting but if she wanted to, I think she'd continue to shine.

But it's not the same. Slurring and talking smack while leaving a club isn't comparable to going on a Twitter rant, summoning legal counsel over a song you approved, and then issuing a weak retraction. She's not playing with a full deck, but seriously, I hope she’s able to log off and stop embarrassing herself and her kids over dumb shit like this. If she doesn’t want to make music and be a star anymore, there wouldn't be any headlines if she wasn’t fueling them via her erratic social media posts. Get a finsta like every other celebrity and call it a day - while hopefully discovering some peace and cruelly deprived privacy. |

I realize this is way too soon to be speculating who would be cast as Britney, whether it be a relatively unknown actor or someone a bit more established, but I've always thought Sabrina Carpenter reminded me of Britney in her early years a little bit.
She is apparently shorter than Britney by a few inches though.
