This was the right call for her. I completely understand, even though Iâm disappointed about the show. Jamie was there for her when she needed it most and I love that she feels the need to reciprocate that.

I support this decision because family is way more important than any show but I can't help but feel like there's more to it though; what little we saw of her rehersals wasn't great, so maybe the creative direction they tried wasn't working? and sales weren't on par with Piece of Me, for obvious reasons. Wishing her and her father the best anyways! She would have no career without him right now, so I really like that she's taking some time to help him. |

Britney rarely cancels. On the rare occasion she does cancel, it's usually due to health reasons. Her postponing the show for her father's health is perfectly in line with what Britney's done in the past. There were some shows on the Femme Fatale Tour that didn't sell as well as her team likely would have wanted but she still went ahead and performed anyway so the insinuation that she's using her father's health as a cover-up to save face is nonsense.
Anyways, I wish Britney and her family the best.

Wishing her dad a speedy recovery and I'm glad she cancelled and set her priorities straight. I read a few tweets from her dancers that said that both Overprotected and My Prerogative would be on the setlist as well as some other fan favorites so I'm looking forward to the show if it ever comes to fruition.

This is where the line between celebrity and being a person gets crossed. It's her life and regardless of the reasons she cancelled, it's not like anyone is harmed. Sorry, if you can afford tickets to her show, air/hotel in Vegas, you're not harmed - inconvenienced, maybe. But that's always a risk for any live event (see the bowl game cancelled in Dallas on the day of because of weather). Leave her be and so-called 'fans' should keep their unproven conspiracy theories to themselves.

breatheheavy is notorious for being a rumor mill that works overtime. Theyâve gotten a lot right, but theyâve gotten just as much wrong so itâs best to take anything they say with a grain of salt. Even if Justin Trantor is the EP, or was planned to be, this may not be the case if and when the album is ever recorded to completion.
As far as the legitimacy of her cancellation, the media doesnât know what to do with this woman if it isnât some kind of controversy. Just yesterday I heard a report that implied someone may be in her ear and that she still looks too âgrey behind the eyesâ to be calling her own shots. Tbh I find that a little ridiculous, especially tacky; there could be any number of reasons why she waited to postpone the residency (although I think itâll be outright cancelled). Whatever has happened or will happen, I hope she takes the time she needs for her family.
