This is freaking terrible holy shit. Like, WOW. I can 100% understand why Britney and her people shelved it and not just because it "might be controversial"
Like, its gross and porny for no reason and in ways that take away her agency in ways you don't see in her other sexy videos. I felt literally uncomfortable during some of those scenes and I have zero issues with nudity or sex. God. Make Me is one of my favorite recent Britney songs and it sucks that no one could give it a good video. Like, the one we got was less demeaning, but was so boring I forgot it 2 seconds after I watched it.

Wow. Ok. That’s....not what I expected. It’s better than the original. How could it not be? There are brief flashes of genuine greatness and iconic moments. The red body paint. Anyone familiar with David LaChappelle’s work should not be surprised at all with this video. The porny dancing and sheer absurdity of it would’ve at least had people talking.

The version that leaked seems like a rough cut since there are scenes that are missing. The single cover was shot while they for on set shooting a scene. It was supposedly a dance sequence in the desert. Then there was an interview that E! was done on the set, where Britney wore an outfit that is nowhere to be seen in the leaked version. It's highly unlikely the leaked version was the final product. The falling out between LaChapelle and Britney's team had supposedly occurred b/c LaChapelle did not like the constant cutting and editing her team insisted he make. I wouldn't be surprised if this was one of those rough edits.

As for the video itself, despite being jarring, weird, and unpolished, it's still miles better than the official video. Even in this unpolished state, it would have helped the song a lot more, or at the very least, not hurt the song the way the official version did. It has a lot more replay value than the official version. I was actually compelled to look back and examine scenes whereas with the official version, I had to force myself to try to like it (it didn't work, still hate it). The leaked version had interesting scenes, concepts, and had the potential to be a great addition to her videography with proper editing and polishing

Thanks! So what’s the concept? She’s dating a dancer and after filming a video goes back to his house. Sees he’s a loser who can’t pay the bills and tries to kill him. Has sex while he is unconscious in the pool with G-Eazy. Then brings him back to life and knocks down his house to celebrate? LOL

Anyone hear about this podcast drama? Apparently a paralegal let them know that Britney's been in a mental facility for months and it's because she stopped taking her medication so Jamie made her cancel Domination and check herself in somewhere.

Some cliff notes. Sadly, I believe it 😔

They received an anonymous tip that Britney was not in the mental facility because she wanted to.
-She stopped taking her meds in the middle of Domination rehearsals, her dad found out, they changed the medication (explains somehow the whole "Britney walked into my office looking like she was medicated) and she still wasn't taking it, with the conservatorship they can force her to take meds. Her dad said that either she took the meds or he would pull the plug on Domination and that's what happened.
-We haven't seen anything from her because she has been in a mental facility against her own will since mid January. 
-She also started to drive which was not allowed apparently. They explained that she can only drive with her conservator and that might have been one of the reasons Jason was her co-conservator for a while.
-They said the c-ship was supposed to last until the Circus Tour was over and then she would have proved she was okay and it'd be all over but that didn't happen cause the c-ship was a guarantee for Live Nation that the FFT would go on as expected.
-They don't have a date for Britney to get out of the mental facility she is in.
-They think what her team/family have against her is the kids custody and that's why she doesn't do anything to get out of it. 
-Apparently Jamie Lynn and Bryan have tried to help her in the past but it didn't work.
-They had a meeting recently about Britney's state and Larry said "at the very least this will help with ticket revenue when Vegas is back"
-That guy said Andrew Wallet resigned cause he was not okay with the fuckery of placing Britney in a mental institution against her will and he doesn't want to do anything with it.


The source also said the concsetvatorship was supposed to end after the Circus tour, but LiveNation wouldn’t insure the Femme Fatale tour if the consevatorship didn’t continue and that this may have been responsible for her strange behavior during the FF era.

The day before the TMZ news broke out they put out a podcast and said that he had heard from reliable sources that Britney and her father were not in good terms. 

They called the source’s job to confirm that he works there and he does.

My heart hurts if there is any truth to any of this. The bad part is, it could all be completely fabricated. People love taking advantage of others in difficult times and this could be a terrible example of someone looking for that 15 minutes of fame.

For whatever it’s worth, there certainly appears to be a lot of smoke here. If I thought this was even possible I would be so outraged. Is it even possible in our legal system for this to have occurred? (Not just the supposed most recent placement, the overall story)

I’ve always been such a huge advocate of her being alive. That sounds crazy, but we have lost so many in similar situations. Her father and the conservatorship has always seemed to me to be a big part of what kept her alive in that dark time. It’s very difficult to distrust that.

As a long time fan, this has been a lot to absorb. I don't want to believe these allegations and I'm still processing everything but as time passes, it's become a harder to simply dismiss these allegations as mere conspiracy theories.

Anyways, some are fans are interpreting this as evidence that her team has been fabricating Britney voluntarily taking time off. Instead of still trying to push for the story that Britney did this voluntarily, now they are seemingly trying to justify what they did:

We, the og stans, have always been suspicious toward her team and their shady actions throughout the years. Obviously, I know nothing about her mental state but it's not far-fetched to think that they could potentially take advantage of whatever issues she has and pocket the f**k out of her situation. It is weird how it has taken a decade for this saga to go mainstream but it's better late than never because this is the only way Britney could finally get her freedom back if any of the allegations are true. What I don't understand is why they forced her into rehab in the first place. Was it a form of punishment because she pulled all the stops to end her c-ship or because she allegedly stopped taking her medication?

Whatever the case may be, I wish her to pull through once again. It's so unfair for such a pure, harmless soul to go through all this. Even if none of the allegations are true, it's still scary for someone having to deal with such extreme stuff being talked about publicly.

Honestly, Brit has been a robot and a shell of herself for the last decade (still can’t get over VMA 2007). Anyone who denies that is very much in denial. I always assumed she had mental health issues but it could very well be that she was being sedated and controlled by her father all along. She is a pure soul and I’m hoping she is able to bounce back from all of this. She has had such an unusual upbringing and she deserves some peace and stability once and for all.

My belief is that Britney has wanted out of the fame and pop star business for much of her career but has been forced to stay in it and keep at it for at least the last decade. It’s sad to think that she’s been doing it all against her will all this time.
