Britney posted a few pictures on Instagram of the Circus Tour specifically during the Get Naked set, prompting rumors that she's working with Blackout producers on new music.

A few fan accounts have also posted blind items that she's been in contact with several people from the project.

This has been the case for every album since Femme Fatale, lol. I'll believe it when I hear it. 

There's so many producers involved with that project though, unless we're specifically talking about those who made the cut, and most of them haven't made an album cut in years. I think B&A are the most recent to do anything, and that was re-record the Zoey 101 theme song with Jamie Lynn of all people. 

Kinda hope she's shopping around for fresh faces. The music she's been using on her Insta videos has been consistently great and forward thinking. Her biggest strength has always been her ear for sound and I hope she hasn't lost that.

Does Rodney Jerkins even produce anymore? I don't think his quality dropped, he just stopped making music. Though the quality and quantity of his hits is surely something he can retire on.


I wouldn't mind if Clarence Clarity lent his talents to Britney. He and Rina Sawayama have made so much magic together (and it could result in a collab!)

They can wikipedia her. They are smart enough to understand that everything in their house is paid for by their mother, and that their mother has spoken about how she was trafficked, drugged, and institutionalized against her will, and that she was afraid for her life and her family was the cause. Yet they choose to align themselves with the very people who did that to her. If that sparks nothing inside of them, if they feel nothing for their mother. I'm terrified for their futures because that's some Kyle Rittenhouse/Brock Turner levels of sociopathy right there.

Honestly, what's sad most of all is that you can hear in Britney's voice how much she just wanted to be unconditionally loved, and how much it tears her up inside that the people who she chose to dedicate her life to -- her former husband, her parents, her siblings, and her kids just couldn't care less if she was locked up and never heard from ever again. I echo what someone else said. The Spears' family are genuinely horrible people. This puts everything about her behavior from 2004 onward in a new light. She's spent her adult years just searching for people to love her. 

They’re Hollywood brats. As Sam said, their idol is their father…Kevin Federline. I’m sure it’s been video games and “if you’re gonna smoke weed, do it in the house” energy while their mother has been working non-stop, being forced to feed the frat house with her child support cheques. The kids are exactly who I expected them to be.

I'm just glad there is still some fight in her after all that she's been through. It definitely seems like there was a part of her that just stopped fighting during the conservatorship years due to the unyielding bullying she endured. The anger is the part of her psyche that loves her, it demands respect, and the worst thing I think could happen to her at this point in her life is to become disheartened, discouraged, or to doubt herself and believe that what all of her family says about her is true. For that I'm thankful that she is responding and she refuses to give them an inch regardless of their statements and all their gaslighting.

I'll always be rooting for her first. I kind of don't care if I may be a bit unpopular for that, but I take solace in the fact that in the social media sites from Twitter to Instagram to Tik Tok, everyone seems to be taking her side, which is a nice counter balance to the hate fest that she has endured for most of her career, when it came to media interest. She's often always got the short-end of the stick in dust-ups historically, but at least not this time around thankfully. 

There's also something incredibly humiliating and spirit killing that she was locked up for 14 years, while she watched her ex-husband get married, have two more children, and basically fund his new family and their life style while she was barely allowed to have boyfriends, purchase a pair of sketchers and couldn't choose to have more children when she always desired having a big family. It's like some perverse financial domination 50's housewife kind of scenario, and is all too common in what you see in domestic abuse situations.

I feel it in my bones, when I hear her express shock that those kind of people in her life have won. No wonder she cries herself to sleep at night. I hope she gets all the love and light she can find for the rest of her days. She deserves it.

It always amazes me how she really only had top 40 pop and moderate rhythmic play and yet outsold her peers with ease while many had top 40, rhythmic, AC/hot AC, urban/urban ac for radio promotion.

I'm happy that she had more radio support post Circus comeback but it's still interesting.

With HMC and B10 I hope the radio support continues because it's needed.

I am still pressed that Oops and Toxic didn't hit #1.

For Oops, they released an EP of remixes in June 2000 and I get that they didn't want to release a CD before the May release but unless there was a rule that you couldn't release official CD singles for a lead after album release I think she could have cleared #1 June 2000 even if for a week.

Anyways, so happy she has 25 years in her top 10 rankings.

Fat shaming Christina and her dancers out of nowhere is an...interesting post (which that quote from Dangerfield makes pretty obvious she is doing). Its also weird that I pretty much thought Christina would be way, way beneath Britney's notice, but apparently Christina is on her mind, A LOT despite Christina basically not saying or doing anything for a decade+

It does make sense though because Britney really feels stuck in like...the 2000s somewhere when she was originally put under conservatorship. Which sucks and is sad.

Yeesh, following Britney these days is... not easy. She did say she wanted to offend everyone for how offended she has been. I wonder if she would care about any backlash at this point? It's all very uncomfortable but obviously wish her the best. And unless she has some secret awful story about Xtina that we don't know about she should try and keep her name out of her mouth.

It's so sad that Britney feels the compulsion to lash out, even at Christina, who has been unproblematic for quite some time now. I think she just needs to focus on her marriage to her hot husband and celebrate her current success, but clearly she is still in a world of pain.

I think this is a thing done in the industry. I remember back in the day people said Mariah had these obese black backup singers to make her look skinnier and lighter. Wouldn’t put it pst Tommy and team but I think Mariah personally picked out Kelly Price so idk what that might mean…. 👀

now that she has her freedom to choose her healthcare, is she pursuing therapy? like that post about "feeling skinny only around fat people" is something that she should be bringing up to her therapist, for example. have a conversation about how the way she views her body shouldn't depend on comparison — especially not to the bodies of her former rival's backup dancers.

a lot of her Instagram posts read like things that she should be journaling and talking through with a trained professional. now I am against censoring her and I do hope she gets things she hasn't been able to say off her chest, but a lot of her remarks sound dated and/or negative (toward herself and others). I don't think that's going to be helpful in her recovery.
