Trisha Yearwood - "The Song Remembers When"
"But that's just a lot of water underneath the bridge I've burned And there's no use in back tracking around corners I have turned"
I could paste the whole song, but that line hits me especially hard.

“This life just keeps rolling along, Like a freight train that's jumped from the tracks With this weight I've been carrying a lifetime, still breaking my back”
- Aaron Lewis: “Love Me”
“I wake up just as empty as the bottle I drank the night before”
- Aaron Lewis: “The Party’s Over”
I hate myself when I’m not with you, I don’t know what I’m supposed to do, I tried to take a step today, but I keep getting in my way”
- Aaron Lewis: “Reconsider”

Easily one of the best songs of all time, country or otherwise.

I found this line from the same song better: "Take a breath and try to hold it/Wish I could hold it long enough"

Dean Brody - “Ever After”
“Only regret in life is I didn’t meet you sooner I would have spent my wasted youth all on you though I wasn’t in your life for those first chapters but I’d sure love to be, girl won’t you ride with me your happily ever after”

"Your secret has its consequence and that's on you, babe"
"Babe" by Sugarland f/ Taylor Swift, written by Taylor Swift & Pat Monahan
I think that that song is actually very well-written, and has a lot of interesting lyrics. That's probably my favourite though.

I don't wanna wear your crown, there's enough to go around - Maren Morris, "Girl"
I keep coming back to this line ever since I first heard it. I love, love, love it. This is one of my absolute favorite lyrics from any country song in recent memory.

"Don’t you know you’re strong enough to change the tide/So it's not so bad to be the moon" and to a less extent, "Every night the whole wide world looks up to you"
--Aaron Watson's To Be The Moon
I like how he combined astronomy facts and rhetoric device for "change the tide", and also described the touring scene in a refreshing way.

"Would you listen to me while I'm talking to you? No, I'm not that hard to satisfy All I ever wanted was a decent man
To give a damn and try"

Why does this thread not get revived more!!! Lately, I've been obsessed with this opening verse from Lorrie Morgan's "Between Midnight And Tomorrow". Especially the closing line!
"Somewhere between midnight and tomorrow, You'll want to be free of your constant sorrow. I'll offer a bed of roses for your bed of nails. You'll be drawn to my perfume, but the whiskey will prevail."
Of course y'all ain't heard it 'cause it's on My Heart, one of her albums that is not available anywhere anymore, but trust me it's great!

Blessed and highly-favored The sky was cotton candy-flavored But that was back when the dream was mine - Sam Williams, "Lost Its Allure"
Best song I've heard from this guy yet. Normally not big on him, but this is gorgeous and I love the lyrics. *chef's kiss*

Whoever's out there in the stratosphere Got a question for the cosmic engineer Is it all you believed it would be? - LeAnn Rimes, "Spaceship"
Incredible way to start a song, especially as an opening track on an album.

"Happiness ain't prison but there's freedom in a broken heart" - Miranda Lambert, Runnin' Just in Case
"I'm a rhymer, I can turn twenty cents into a ten, and when I get confused and I start to lose, I'll rhyme a dime 'till it all makes sense"

If I'd have had a lick of damn sense I'd be on the greener side of that fence Little starter house we've finally outgrown Twelve-hundred feet we're 'bout to add on Smilin' out there watchin' them Big ol' yellow buckets 'bout to break ground While you're shootin' all my baby names down - Sam Hunt, "Outskirts"
Chills. This song is a lyrical masterpiece.
