Could SIO go back to #1 now? If I recall, they're both increasing at about the same rate in airplay and falling at about the same rate in sales, yet obviously their difference in streaming will change now. Could Taylor be #1 in streaming now?

Is that a new one-week Spotify record? I can't recall if anything has hit 4 million plays in a week yet.

That's Tiziano Ferro, an Italian pop artist that kworb is unabashedly a fan of (he even has a tab on his site for Ferro).
Back on topic, I'm hopeful that "Back to the Shack" will make good gains to Bubbling Under now that the music video is out, at least.

I really hope that Rather Be is finally able to sneak into the top 10. Time for Boom Clap and Chandelier to finally clear out for good.

So SIO probably needs about 2 million more streams than AATB in order to make up for the slight disadvantage in sales and airplay and return to #1 on the Hot 100...yeah, possible but unlikely.

Ooh my as much as I still don't understand it, looks like Rather Be has officially peaked on radio and is now free falling :/. Looks like this week or (maybe) next week are its last shots to hit the Hot 100 top 10. Again, will all come down to how much a few of the songs above it fell this week. Its still has def. a sales advantage and maybe streaming. Praying it at least makes it to #10 this Wed/Thurs!

It's interesting how about a month ago it looked like Break Free was going to be a bigger hit in the end than Black Widow, but now it's the other way around.

I wonder how many weeks at #1 "Heartbreaker" would have gotten if it hadn't been a limited single. Anyway, for its anniversary I wrote a blog about its impact for anyone interested: www.est1997.com/music/often-imitated-never-duplicated-the-influence-of-heartbreaker-by-mariah-carey-jay-z/

AATB 29k sales lead. AATB something like ~5 million AI lead on BDS. AATB likely still in the lead on streaming. The gap was huge last week, and will close a lot due to SIO being on Spotify, but that alone won't close it completely.

Coincidence that SIO takes by FAR the biggest percentage dive the first full week on streaming? I think not.

Coincidence that SIO takes by FAR the biggest percentage dive the first full week on streaming? I think not. Eh, kind of. It's been available on YouTube since day one, which has far more users than Spotify.

Why isn't "Rather Be" higher on Digital Songs? It was top five on iTunes almost all week.

Why isn't "Rather Be" higher on Digital Songs? It was top five on iTunes almost all week. Black Widow and Anaconda both have 2nd versions to factor in. Sales for 6, 7, and 8 are very close, so Amazon and Google Play sales could make that little bit of difference.
