Something about the verses reminds me of "The Middle" by Jimmy Eat World lol.

Flawless. Hoping Pop will give her another chance as this is truly one of her best.

Something about the verses reminds me of "The Middle" by Jimmy Eat World lol. Thats what Ivy Leegueโข had mentioned earlier, I hear it too. I wonder if she drew inspiration from them. Also, this is more instant than MKIA. Although, that's my jam.

This needed more punch than it has. Every time I hear that chorus - and there's a lot of them in this song! - I feel like it brings the song back down to earth. I gotta say, I'm disappointed with this. I shouldn't be wishing this had more when I listen to this - and yet, I do.

Ugh. That climax (everything post bridge) actually makes me emotional. It reminds me of the kind of passionate cry that Natasha Bedingfield adds to her music. Those OHHHHHHH-OHHHH-OOOOOOHs are just...ugh. I love this song too much.

Something about the verses reminds me of "The Middle" by Jimmy Eat World lol. I saw this as I was listening to the song for the first time and now I can't un-hear it. I like the production/beat but the lyrics leave a lot to be desired, especially the chorus. I fuck with it, though.

My thoughts:
It's catchy. Very much on par with what the young generation of female pop stars are currently putting out. I think it will be a hit for her. I like it better than any of the new singles from her Greatest Hits album. Having said all that, I just didn't care for it that much (yeah, I didn't like any of the new songs from her Greatest Hits). It's certainly not a great song but it should do the trick of getting her name back on the pop airwaves versus just HotAC and AC radio. Good luck to her.

Luv KC, but this song is kinda meh for me. The verses don't seem to go with the chorus. Almost like they couldn't finish a couple of songs so they meshed them together. I hope it does well for Kelly, though.

Favorite parts of the song are "Your hands on my hips, and my kiss on your lips, I could do this for a long time" and the fucking bridge. So soooooo magical.

Even if there is just a tad more of a punch missing from this, I can't help but be happy to hear Kelly on radio again. At the end of the day, I'm buying what she's selling so I guess she wins.
Plus, this is perfect to jam to on the way to work. I won't be stopped once I learn all the words.

Something about the verses reminds me of "The Middle" by Jimmy Eat World lol. I really can't unhear it now. I love the song "The Middle" though, so that's ok. Everything from the bridge on is wonderful. Those "Ohs" take this song to a high level. A level that it needs to be at. Before that though, it just sounds a lot like "The Middle." Still a jam, and still will do well i think.

I kind of think this is going to be huge. It's so current and fresh. I wish there were a slightly bigger note after the bridge, but I have no doubt she'll add something fancy. Actually what I'd love are some bigger ad-libs other than the "oh's", which are lovely but could be even more exhilarating IMO.

This is just a tad safe to me, but it will be huge along the lines of Roar and Brave and other similar songs. It is perfect for a general pop crowd from children to soccer moms and in-between. I bet when I do an album ranking it will be somewhere near the bottom of the list though.

I like it a lot! Not totally differnet from what we've heard from her in the past but I don't mind. She's singing a great melodic pop song and doing it well, as per usual.

Very catchy, very instant & very pop. A great first single for a very pop album as she said!

I find this kind of boring, but I haven't like a lot of Kelly songs recently, and she's done just fine. I hope it does well because I think she's great.

Something about the verses reminds me of "The Middle" by Jimmy Eat World lol. Yeah, I thought the Roar x Boom Clap comparison was fairly accurate at first, but now I think it's really more Boom Clap x The Middle. What a combination, lol.

However it does on CHR, I do know this is going to murder HAC. Like it could be #1 for months there.

Starts off w/ a promising beat then goes into bland, non melodic/catchy land. Mr Know It all while not instant def. had something about it that just worked and I kept coming back for more. This, was tough to get through it. Reeeally rooting for her and hope the 2nd single is even 1/2 the forever fab./ stellar WDKY quality!

Anyone know how fast MLWSWY rose on itunes? Can't give you an exact time, but I do remember it being pretty damn fast. I remember a lot of fans (including me) thought she was gonna have to kind of gradually re-establish her mainstream success since she struggled so much commercially during the MD era. Then MLWSWY came out and fucking killed it right of the gate. It was completely magical.

Everyone's rooting for her! lol But to go from the brilliance of WDKY to...well where she's at now. I still say release If I Cant Have You or Let Me Down over this and it would smash harder! lol

Been having this on repeat now. I don't think I've liked a Kelly song this much since her early days. I mean everything she releases is really good, but something about this got me feeling some type of way.

Because IICHY sounds way too dated to smash anything today. LMD might still work, but this song is far more in line with the current Top 40 scene. Stronger is a 3 year old album after all.

It's not a terrible song, but there is absolutely nothing significant about it. I still stick with my original thoughts from the clip; it's very Disney Channel. I'm also not a fan of the processed vocals. I do like the adlibs at the end though.
