K so this officially has to do well so that some of the more amazing but less immediately radio-ready tracks on the album can reach their potential. A lead single Pop song that may not sell 500,000 copies is usually a good sign that the song is not radio-ready. |

It's the "poppiest" song on the album, but it just fails to stand out and might be more at home in like 2011. The lack of real promo doesn't help either. The other songs on the album aren't as traditionally poppy, but I think some could do better because they're far less generic and they do stand out. Take You High is a must for a future single. Hope it cancels out Invincible for second. |

I am ok with this dying since it is literally one of two bad songs on a brilliant cd, but I sort of feel like it dying here will handicap a new single. But, please, some of these songs have to be heard...they need to make it happen.

no dont die yet!! she's about to do US performances next week. hopefully it will spark new interest on the song.
they need to push it hard on hot AC if it looks like pop is not gonna bite.
remember MKIA? RCA wouldnt release a 2nd single until the first one is completely die dead and deceased. i was one of those fans screaming for Stronger to be released ASAP 2 months prior to stronger's release. but also MKIA ruled hot AC #1 for over a month .

'Heartbreak Song' is back in the Top 20 on iTunes USA for the first time since the week preceding the Grammys. Will it be able to surpass its peak of #9 in the upcoming week with promo ?

^^ Gotcha. The odds are quite low because for that to happen it would require an AI on radio into the Top 10-15 overall AND a Top 10 iTunes placement to occur simultaneously.
