New single presumably from Passion Pit's next album. Goes for Alt adds on February 17, according to FMQB.

Holy crap, even more excited for this than Awolnation. "Take A Walk" is one of the biggest gems of the 2010s.

Yeah Libra, it's a joke. And we know we can take his word for it, because this is the same guy who thinks "Come Together" by The Beatles is a joke.

I mean, it's a decent song, but it's far from the greatest ever. Yeah, Glassjaw and Escape The Fate have so many better songs. Glassjaw holy shit yes they do (Long Island forever). Escape the Fate aren't that good imo. Side note: I just found out that a second teacher of mine loves Glassjaw which is odd because they're both women and 90% of their lyrics are about abusing/threatening women, so lol I mean, The Beatles have lots of better songs than "Come Together". "A Day in the Life", "Yesterday", "Eleanor Rigby", "Lucy in the Sky", "Hey Jude" to name a few. I think I just view The Beatles the same way you view Tool; they're an innovative, influential group that were important to music. But they're just so overrated, with them being dubbed "the best band ever" by lots of people, when they really weren't. They're not bad, just nothing worth fawning over.

The Beatles are a good band. They're not "the best band ever". Pink Floyd is a good band. But they're not seen as the "best band ever", and no one expects them to be. They're a band who took an innovative approach to progressive rock and modern bands today base their songs off of their structure.

I think you're missing the fact that the Beatles were the first to do so much.

I think you're missing the fact that the Beatles were the first to do so much. influence =/= quality no, but Beatles = quality actually, it's impossible to sell 600 million+ albums worldwide without quality. End of argument.

I'm looking forward to this. Surprisingly, I found Gossamer to be a pretty enjoyable album (Really wish "Mirrored Sea" saw the light of day as a single), and "Take a Walk" is a cool song.

I'm surprised, I thought you'd be the other way around...that you'd dislike Passion Pit but like Awolnation haha.

Anyways, back on topic, I loved "Take a Walk" but loathed "Carried Away". Hopefully this'll be more like the former.

On the other hand, I can't stand the singing in Awolnation, and their sound rubbed me the wrong way.

I like Aerosmith's cover of "Come Together" better than the original. As for Passion Pitt; I loved "Carried Away", so I can almost guarantee Liking this one too. No link to actual song?

The Morse code translates to "Kindred," which could be a possible album title.
Anyone else feeling an announcement tomorrow?
Edit: I was wrong, maybe next week

Morse code? They're trying way too hard to be hipster-y. And Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire already did that 10 years ago
