I think they should go with "Our Song" or "Should've Said No" as the next single.

Hearing that radio mix, including the slight lyrical change 'laugh cause its just so funny', I do think this can be a hit, MAYBE. It is much better in the single edit, with the way there is more drums driving the song and I am a huge sucker for mandolin and banjo, of which this has alot. Here's to hoping for Top 15, atleast. However, I still will not be surprised if this stalls at #30 or so...

I heard Cyndi Thompson singing the other day on TV. She and Taylor sound so much alike to me. Glad Taylor is making her mark on country music!

It's off to a good start, debuting at #46 on the Billboard chart a week before its add date.

Hopefully her appearance on 'The Tonight Show With Jay Leno' tonight (Tuesday) will give this song a boost.
She DOES sound a lot like Cyndi Thomson, doesn't she???????

Wow, she certainly is a beautiful girl. I like the video overall and the new single mix, but it's a little weird seeing her in bed with her guitar.

This is a good song, but do you think it will do as good as Tim McGraw?

This was the song I loved the most when I first bought the album, but I really wish she would have went with My My My. I would have loved to have seen a video to it that follows the story of the song. But everyone I know loves Teardrops, and when I met her at a signing, I told her it was my personal favorite. Maybe I'm the one that swung her opinion? ;) I just don't like the she says, "Drew looks at me." I wish she would have just said, "He looks at me." Hopefully this will do well and My My My will follow third. If you check out some of Taylor's videos over at CMT.com, she performs some of her songs live, and before she sings this song, she tells how she writes songs about her life. And DREW is the actual name of the guy she had the crush on, so she used his name! That's it!

Is it just me or does the edit sound a bit awkward?

It could just be because you're used to hearing the album version. If the radio edit was the original version of the song, you might not find it as forced.

I thought it sounded great! I think this song will do fine, and the video will go a long way to help out. Taylor is absolutely the most beautiful I've seen her so far in this video. And she looks like she might be a fine little actress too. I wonder if that's something she's interested in.

I've been playing the heck out of this CD; there are LOTS of very fine songs on it.
I heard this song again tonight on Whitney Allen's show; it was spotlighted as being the 'Next Big Thing' (a future hit), and I hope it does REALLY well.

I think that the whole CD is fine, not a single dud on it. This song is a good choice for a follow-up. I'm really hoping that "Picture To Burn" gets to be a single.

song is doing quite well, I have heard her live and her vocals are not the best but she is quite young and will get better and better as her vocals mature.

Love the video and with that great single mix to match, I hope this one far outshines the low expectations I had for it...

I don't think any of the country stations in Dallas have jumped on this yet sadly, although The Twister is playing Picture to Burn a lot lately. (They play a lot of non single songs ex: Flatts 'Backwards')
I loved the video. I think it'll definately do just as good as McGraw.

I don't see this doing as well as Tim McGraw on radio, although, its doing well on Itunes already.

I think this song will do well, Taylor seems to be the next big new artist, as Carrie moves into the higher echelon and is no longer considered a new artist I think Taylor is her predacessor and will take her place as best new artist, she is quite talented and has the full package. Sorry about the spelling.

Swift surmised that radio and MySpace exposure were responsible for most of her album sales. She said she closely supervised her MySpace page, even going so far as to personally write her biography in first person for it. Most artists, she noted, have bios on MySpace that are written in the more objective sounding -- but less intimate -- third person. She said she now has 150,000 MySpace "friends."

When they edited out the word 'damn' it sounded a bit forced...Hey what do I know? It could just be because you're used to hearing the album version. If the radio edit was the original version of the song, you might not find it as forced. That may be true, but I 100% agree. I just heard the radio edit last night on the radio and that little part just sounded so weird. Why did they edit that anyways? its not like it was F'ing funny or anything that needed to be edited.
