I like it a lot but a proper chorus would help. The remixes for this will be great.

I want a Club Edit with the deep house sections amplified throughout. Also it needs a more prominent hook instead of letting the whistle be the only ear worm.

The transition from the first verse to the chorus is really jarring for some reason. I really like the chorus and bridge. Not really sure how I feel about it as a whole yet. I feel the same way. I love the verses but I'm not sure about the chorus. It feels like 2 different songs. This will be a grower for me.

The version I bought from iTunes (Explicit version) seems a bit faster and kicked up from the lyric video, not as sparse. Even the preview kicks in better. Me likey!

Can't wait for the inevitable mashups between this & Madonna's "Ghosttown". The production is good, so I'm hoping there's more of a proper club mix out there. I can see why pop & Hot AC would easily play this though. Ye gods, no mashups please :O Agree with you about this being POP and HAC friendly though :)

I love this!!! The beat is so infectious and that bridge at the end is everything <3 Adam also delivers one of his best vocals

I like the bridge the most. Its an okay song, I do not see it doing much though. Its kind of boring besides the bridge and into the last chorus.

I love this song. It's a new sound for Adam and I approve it.
However, I'm not sure if it's the hit I thought it could be due to the lack of pop hooks. Let's see...

This is quite interesting! I really like how he sounds crisp and clear in the verses, bridge and last chorus. I wish the last chorus were a bit more pumped up, explosive. I like it at first listen though, and I think makes you want to replay it. I'm not sure if the acoustic-dance-acoustic works perfectly (I would've preferred the dance beat would've remained after the first chorus) but at least it'd sound different on radio. None could say this is generic or safe. I think I this could be top 20. Hope so!! I need an AL comeback!! He sounds awesome

Not sure how it will fare on radio, but I love it, probably the first since WYWFM.

Not a train wreck but wow, was DEF expecting something way hotter and more instant. Madonnas GT is 20x better yet will end up the way bigger flop lol. Dunno if this will 'flop' but doesnt sound like anything close to a smash (maybe will peak in the top 30ish on radio). The pre hype was def there, yet the end result falls quite flat. Like others said, def. had potential but the lyrics and production (which at x is decent and 90s house clubby but should've been 10x notches better and more intense) It all just doesn't mesh and ends up being a rather bland, clunky and a disposable song. Def dont see this one even growing on me.

I want him to be successful, but i don't like the song, well to be fair i don't like the chorus, because the verses are good.
We'll see what happens. Inmediately is good for eurovision but generally not that much for performance on the charts (generally songs that are instant have a high burn out rate), so this could be both ways, or end being a grower or dislike it more with every listen
It'll be top 100 on itunes in a hours, but then it will depend of radio reception

A strange one! Like 2 or 3 songs in one. I like the verses, but I reckon the chorus, disjointedness and flat ending will probably kill its success on pop. A brave musical choice though and credit for that.

Wow! The support Adam Lambert gets from the label, media, etc is insane! I bet there are a fair number of Idol alums that would love even just a smidgen of this level of support. I'm happy for Adam in that he does have amazing vical skill, but so do the others.

I like it for the most part. I wish the production was a little more poppin. The bridge is great.
I don't why, but I feel like this is going to be one of those songs that is played in the midnight hours on stations when they have their little club mixes going on.

Wow! The support Adam Lambert gets from the label, media, etc is insane! I bet there are a fair number of Idol alums that would love even just a smidgen of this level of support. I'm happy for Adam in that he does have amazing vical skill, but so do the others. He has several advantages over most idol alums. His second album flopped but it was number one on the billboard 200, and the sales weren't extremely bad for a flop album. He went the second album route, when labels usually not invest in talent show contestants, and he was always on the verge with radio, so he was practically done unless one of the songs because a hit by itself. But at the same time he was very successful with his tours (in fact he won more money that other idols with successful albums) his fanbase didn't substitue him by other contestant (in this case being very different from the average idol alum play in his favour) and he even won some new fans with the Queen tour. Radio should be more receptive this time, but he is not Sam Smith (who is very inofenssive) and the song is quite risky which could end being great or not. Right now Ghost town is top 100 on itunes, it was quite fast, but the rest it will depend of the promo and the radio reception (a good video could help too). Hopefully this first push on itunes will make an impact, that would be a good sign for the label if he is able to go deep in the chart only after announcing the release, right now the song is at 87 and climbing at a good rhythm

Loving this. The bridge and ending are amazing but I like the verses too. Different sound from Adam. Really good imo. Supposedly Q philly is giving this hourly spins today

Why us there an explicit version in iTunes/Spotify? The explicit and clean one are the exact same thing.

On first listen...
I like it. It's my favorite single from him to date. Excellent singing. I like the beat. Weakest part of the song are the lyrics. They don't make a lot of sense to me...just some random words, name drops, to come up with something that passes as lyrics. I think his new label with give this a BIG push on radio. I think he'll get a really good hit from this song...not recording breaking but a very strong single.
PS - Wrote my short review before I read anyone else's. Now, I'll go find out what everyone else thought. :)

This is a great take on the of-the-moment House-Pop hybrid that's been marching through the landscape, but way more on the Deep House side of things. I like that he didn't go for a watered-down instant CHR sound, did something kind of "out there" and made a great track. Trespassing had some songs like that, but never caught on. Here's hoping the rest of the album is as ambitious and quality.
