Bought my copy on iTunes and had a quick listen. It sounds good! I own all of their albums and have been impressed by each one.

This one's not down yet
Harry sounded atrocious all the way through but that Riri cover is probably the best thing I've ever heard them do. Planning on listening to the album today and I hope there are some folky bops like that one cause it fit them perfectly. Niall was LIVING during that performance.

In the interview portion it was made known Harry was sick and on vocal rest. He was using a voice app to answer questions. It was quite funny.

Based on this clips, this sounds like a pretty joyless affair but I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Anyway, I was able to find the deluxe tracks this morning online so I will be picking up the standard today.

"What A Feeling" is possibly their best song ever.

Indeed, and Never Enough is also brilliant.

This is their best album so far! Full review to come later.
However, I will say I don't like the order of the tracks on the album much. They don't seem to flow well in some parts of the album. That being said, I love the standard version going from "write you a song" to "history", I think that was clever on their part. But, I would rearrange the track listing a little bit. Also, it sort of bugs me that AM is the title track and a bonus track.

At the moment I am loving What A Feeling, Love You Goodbye, If I Could Fly, I Want To Write You A Song and History. Bonus tracks are great too and I agree that AM should be on the standard edition.

Well I played this album for my mom when we were driving around the other day. She told me that his is the closest thing she's heard to the Beattles, since the Beattles. She's 71 and she was a huge fan of the Fab 4. She wants a copy of 1D's album. There will never be another review I could read as good as that.
Personally I've made it clear in earlier posts my favorite 1D song of all time is on this album, "Love You Goodbye." It's beautifully written, sung, and so relateable. I think it would be their career hit if it was a single/video. "Never Enough" is so quirky and different. It would be great for radio too. From the start of the album with the banging "Hey Angel" to the smooth ending "AM" this album's songs and flow is the best by a mile that 1D has ever recorded. I just hate that there will be no tour for this album cause it would be incredible live. I gotta say it, after hearing this album I was thinking "Zayn who?" As the 21st century Fab 4, they earned their comparison to the first Fab 4. This album is the best Pop music gets! I just love it! I can't make a list of "love" "like" or "don't like." All these songs are equally perfect to me, except that 1 that stand outs to me above all the rest, "Love You Goodbye."

I just want to clarify that I love all of the songs, I just don't like the order they're presented in necessarily. :)

Infinity, End Of The Day, If I Could Fly, and Drag Me Down are remarkable from start to finish. Improvement over Four, which was also very strong. Louis's vocals are less annoying this time around, shockingly.

^^ HDD reported this last week, it's nothing new. Apparently they had two other shows at Staples Center on hold for Bieber. $18 was the cost of a ticket and you could get the album too for additional $4.

People can stay mad at King Bieber all they want, but at the end of the day, there can only be one winner. 1D stans should just rejoice in the fact that they got another solid album out of these guys and stop whining,

I just find the whole thing a bit desperate. Makes Bieber look more like a pretender than king. That's all. I'm more disappointed because Bieber's new material is so bad. I hated the Skrillex/Diplo collaboration and then his own singles turned out to be in the same vein. I'm not a fan of this minimalistic pop and whisper-y vocals. Ew.

In the real world, LOL. 1D's album is now #3 on iTunes, after Bieber and Adele. Y'all act like I don't like 1D and spent coin on this album and the two before it. Bieber's album is more to my tastes...and apparently, Zayn's too.

In the end they won since their opening since Four increased by a sizeable amount.

In the end they won since their opening since Four increased by a sizeable amount. LOL. I'm not quite sure it works that way. Bieber won the sales race, period. That said, even if this album was a complete and utter sales flop (which it CLEARLY isn't), it's still an excellent album, from start to finish. I love that Bittersweet Symphony-jacking opener. Gets me all pumped up.

Truthfully, as a diehard fan of 1D and a casual fan of Justin, I'm glad 1D took the number one in the UK and Justin took it in the US. Seems fair.
