It's interesting that the non-votes could have caused an upset during Week 2. Had Mikey voted to save his alley Musicguy, Fancy could have broken a tie and sent Bigfan home early. :o

It was 5-4 to evict Musicguy, but Jessie and Mikey didn't vote. No idea what would have happened with Jessie, but Mikey could have (and logically would have) voted to evict Bigfan, forcing a 5-5 tie.

Questions for the Mods: (1) Early on (maybe Week 1/2), who were you expecting to win the season? (2) Were you rooting for (or against) anyone in particular at any point? Please speak freely. :kii: Rose "Payola" Nylundsurfy

Lol @ Zeebz being probably my biggest ally in the house and yet he's the reason why the person I didn't want sent home both of my HOH weeks went instead. :( I still love you though, Zeebs. And I suppose I can't complain since I ended up winning, lol.

Please feel free to speak freely. :kii: Rose "Payola" NylundsurfyI'm not sure who we both thought would win. I feel like we talked about it and I wish we had posted more of our thoughts in the Quicktopic, but with nobody else posting regularly in there, we usually just kept to Skype. I remember thinking Liucci would either make it far or be kicked out fast because he started out really aggressive in the beginning and I feel like being a (so we thought) new member and being as aggressive as he was, he would surely be kicked out fast, but he really flew under the radar and I think the week he was finally voted out, it wasn't the plan. I think more or less I figured the winner would be someone along the lines of indulgecountry. Not an obvious threat, but also not a complete newbie either. I didn't peg indulge as winning though because I figured he would have been targeted sooner since he pretty well flew through the first two seasons into the final 5 or wherever he ended up. He's never a target and he never draws attention to himself, and it definitely worked this time. tbh, I kind of hoped he would be found out and voted off sooner because I knew he would have the same technique this time around too - I hoped others would have seen it and/or did something about it. I think Surf and I both had our weeks when we were rooting for one of the two nominees each week. There were a few times when we were rooting for different people but for the most part we both tended to agree. I have this thing where I root for the underdog more often than not and I think from the beginning, I was hoping to see popstop and josh get far, (a) because both had the odds against them anyway, which was confirmed when they were the top two people voted to win by everyone else in the beginning, and (b) particularly for popstop because of the guaranteed nomination he got in week 4. I was so glad Zebra used that veto on him and when both josh and popstop were finally evicted, I was disappointed. But for the most part, I rooted for the ones who were most active in their diary room PMs, because they kept the game interesting for me. So popstop, Zebra, Fancy, Codex was super talkative, lol, and the ones who gave diary room entries. Zebra always had something to say, Liucci gave his thoughts as he did stuff too, which I also always loved. I was also sad the week Musicguy was evicted too, but I think with his unfamiliarization with how the game worked, it was probably the best time. People were intimidated by his gameplay because they thought he was hiding stuff but he was probably the most literal person playing, but everyone just read him wrong. lol

popstop and josh being called 'underdogs' is interesting. I feel like a more appropriate use of that would be people like Liucci or Ed. I mean you can't be voted as most likely to win and still be the underdog, imo, lol. And I think what helped me out this time around is that I actually won some stuff. I really didn't expect to win 2 HOHs and I also won a crucial POV that saved me from eviction -- pretty sure I wouldn't have stayed if I hadn't won that particular POV. I can't remember exactly but I think I only won 1 challenge across the first two seasons, so I definitely improved a bit this season.

Agreed. Josh and Popstop are more along the lines of Brenchel returning in Season 13. Insta-targets, but not underdogs. Underdogs were more like Dan during BB10 and Ian during BB14. People who made mistakes early on who were able to overcome the odds to succeed. Though I guess using that definition, Codex was the true underdog this season

I think I considered them underdogs because they were both easy targets yet somehow neither went up until surprisingly well into the game, and neither really won anything until late into the game either, and despite that they were still considered power players - yet somehow both made it to final 6 or wherever. The odds were against them I think.
