I'd be genuinely interested to have this clarified, if you or someone else is able to. (How many formats charted, and which ones?) According to Wikipedia. "We Belong Together": US Billboard Hot 100[137]
| 1
| US Adult Contemporary (Billboard)[138]
| 3
| US Adult Top 40 (Billboard)[139]
| 16
| US Dance Club Songs (Billboard)[140]
| 1
| US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs (Billboard)[141]
| 1
| US Mainstream Top 40 (Billboard)[142]
| 1
| US Pop 100 (Billboard)[143]
| 1
| US Rhythmic (Billboard)[144]
| 1
| US Tropical Airplay (Billboard)
| 34
|
Surely Royals by Lorde had more? Alternative, AAA, Pop, Rhythmic, Urban, UAC, HAC, AC? I think Get Lucky by Daft Punk charted on all these formats too. And Happy and Blurred Lines charted on all of those except alternative.

I didn't say or imply that Mariah was the record holder. Have no friggin idea, actually... Sorry

It's fixed. It's #1 on AAA.

Royals did not chart at Urban AC.

We Belong Together simultaneously charted on Top 40, Rhythmic, Urban, Urban AC, AC, Hot AC, Dance (not Dance/Music Club play chart but the actual format), and Tropical. That's 8. And it only charted at Tropical for like a month. It was simultaneously #1 on Top 40, Rhythmic, Urban and Urban AC. (I don't know if that's a record) Pretty sure BL did the same as far as #1s simultaneously on those formats. It actually topped 5 formats (The four formats mentioned plus Hot AC) lol. It was such a one hit wonder (mainstream wise) situation for Thicke that I forget about it.

I feel dumb betting against her but I think by that time, with how many downloads will have already been sold and how many people will already own the album, it's unlikely. Maybe with single #2?

I love seeing all of these new releases and post-performance explosions happening on iTunes and Adele is just perched at #1 waiting like a Game of Thrones episode. Lets see if Coldplay can dethrone the queen!

Comes in at the top on both pop and HAC callout scores: highest positive, lowest negative, highest net positive, highest favorite, and lowest burn rate. On both. Queen. :'(

It's going to be a long and sad winter thanks to Adele. I got my comforters, Chai tea, and mango peach salsa candles ready for the darkness.

What is the record for most days in a row at #1 on iTunes? Today is her 15th straight day.

I hope they release a new single as soon as possible. This is sooooo boring and uninspired. I was ready for another single after three listens on the first day.

A little is missing in the middle, and it hasn't been updated in a year, but it's pretty good otherwise. pulsemusic.proboards.com/thread/115464/itunes-1

Once the album comes out, all the tracks including single #2, will be available to download. So I don't think that will happen. Now if single #2 came out before the album, then it would have a good shot.

Just heard this on the radio, but it was different. It sounded a tiny bit faster, the final chorus was shorter, and they added a layer of drums. I much preferred this version! Made the song less boring and sad, while still keeping it close to the original

Made the song less boring and sad, while still keeping it close to the original The radio edit that I think was officially serviced cuts the second chorus and the bridge in half, and it ends on the second-to-last chord instead of the last. But I'd like to hear the edit you described. Sounds cool. :) EDIT: On this week's SiriusXM Hits 1 Weekend Countdown, this song leaps 14-3 on only its SECOND WEEK. :O

'If' its the 'version' you're talking about, think I heard it too. There is def. a difference from the album version and is def. better! Most definitely tweaks up the entire song and fills in the few bland blanks. Not 'loving' the song yet but was very, very smart to do what they did for the radio edit. It's nothing 'that' dramatic-for fans of the album version to lose interest. but makes it more radio friendly and even a better song imo.

She's just performed it at NRJ Awards in France and she received an award for... well, being Adele?
The vocals were strong.
