As far as I know, Calvin doesn't premiere new songs at OMNIA and/or his DJ sets in festivals, so I'm ruling out the option that a track from them was performed yesterday. However, this might be an indication that both of them have a song together.

I have to be honest that I wasn't too sure when Calvin tweeted that he's planning to release 10 songs this year and I thought that he tweeted a random number. LOL! I mean, he mentioned that he was going to release 8 tracks last year and he only released two (three if "Hype" is counted).

However, I'm thinking that this may be true and he could release an album after all, despite he said that he's only going to release singles. It's already known that he has three pending tracks with John Newman, Ellie Goulding and Jessie Reyez, respectively, and he previewed three more in the last couple of days on Instagram and Snapchat, where Frank Ocean, Young Thug and, likely, Kehlani, are doing the vocals. Also, Travis Scott could be there because of the OMNIA performance from last night, as well as Pharrell and Big Sean.

Regarding Pharrell, I remember that he mentioned that both of them were in the studio, so a collaboration could be implied, although I'm not totally sure about that, while he said that he produced a track for Big Sean, which was going to be included on I Decided., but it didn't make the cut. As a consequence, I assume that Calvin might release it though.

Anyway, I really hope that a new single from him will be out soon.

Personally, it intrigues me that he mentioned the terms 'soul' and 'joyful', so I think that he may change the direction of his production. Another chance, I guess, is because of the possible collaborators, which most of them tend to go to the R&B route.

Anyway, I'm excited because this means that new music from him is finally coming and it could imply an album as well. Slay me, king! :'(
