Shocked that "What's My Name" had amazing longevity. I wonder why some consider it a forgotten #1? It outlasted "Only Girl".

Shocked that "What's My Name" had amazing longevity. I wonder why some consider it a forgotten #1? It outlasted "Only Girl". Only Girl spent longer in the chart. Both spent 14 weeks in the top 10, but both had little longevity once they left the top 10 Only Girl: 75-03-08-08-06-04-03-04-04-02-01-03-06-06-07-13-12-10-12-18-21-27-33-35-36-40-42 [27 weeks] What's My Name: 83-60-01-07-08-05-03-02-03-04-04-03-04-05-06-08-13-12-26-30-35-46 [22 weeks] Rude Boy did the same thing too: 64-23-08-04-01-01-01-01-01-02-02-03-06-09-10-13-17-18-23-33-33-36 [22 weeks]

February 16, 199101 01 Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now) - C&C Music Factory (2nd and final week at #1)02 03 All The Man That I Need - Whitney Houston 03 09 One More Try - Timmy T 04 02 The First Time - Surface 05 13 Someday - Mariah Carey 06 11 Where Does My Heart Beat Now - Celine Dion 07 10 I'll Give All My Love To You - Keith Sweat 08 12 Disappear - INXS 09 04 Play That Funky Music - Vanilla Ice 10 05 Love Will Never Do (Without You) - Janet Jackson Whitney, Mariah, Celine, and Janet in the Top 10 at the same time.
I was just gonna mention that last observation! I wonder how many other weeks there were like this, where at least four of the biggest pop divas of the 90s (adding Madonna to the list) were in the top 10 at the same time. Curiously all 4 of them with one of their less remembered hits, with the possible exception of All The Man That I Need.

^ yep. as its all about having a plan and sticking to it. it's not a coincidence it's getting pushed now after it's Jan 22nd add date, as it ramps up to some big promo in 2 weeks. but i've tried explaining this so many times i'm letting these updates do the talking.

Where is "When We Were Young" getting all those impressions? The audience gains at Pop, AC and HAC radio are all below 0.2 million.

Where is "When We Were Young" getting all those impressions? The audience gains at Pop, AC and HAC radio are all below 0.2 million. There's some inaccuracy in Kworb's figures when a song starts appearing on a format chart (or falls off of one)... which they say right on the site. It's not actual .ai in most cases. It's ballpark. In other words, Kworb's ai totals are based off the adding the totals of the individual format charts on Mediabase. So unless a song is in the top 50 of every format, there's bound to be missing impressions on Kworb. So when it suddenly enters the top 50 of, say, latin... the ai shoots up on Kworb with a much larger update than it actually had.

Hoping G-Eazy gets an eazy route to the Top 10 soon. He definitely will. I think the song could go #1! It's doing very, very well. Hoping G-Eazy gets an eazy route to the Top 10 soon. And I hope The Weeknd can continue his streak and earn another top ten I think it's likely In The Night goes top 10. It's already quite close and still gaining in airplay. And Pulse was having a meltdown because WWWY was taking it's time to take off... Almost impossible for this song to go #1 looking at its sales and airplay, but top 5 is possible imo. I also heard she's filming a music video now so that will help too.

although #1 would be ideal for WWWY, it's not absolutely necessary for me. it just needs to make a solid impact and have some longevity.
that said, i do think #1 is entirely possible - even if airplay doesn't become massive. release a concept video and audio streaming along with the grammy performance boost.... and all the parts would be in place for it to potentially have a huge point total and spend at least a week on top - if it's meant to be.

www.billboard.com/articles/columns/chart-beat/6859557/rihanna-anti-work-billboard-chartsRihanna's 'Anti' & 'Work' Blast Onto Billboard Charts2/1/2016 by Keith Caulfield and Gary Trust TOP 10 ON THE HOT 100: Rihanna roars in at No. 9 on the Hot 100 with Anti lead single "Work" (featuring Drake) -- her 27th top 10 hit, and Drake's 15th. She now ties Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson and Elton John for the fifth-most top 10s in the Hot 100's history. (Madonna leads with 38.) “Work” is Rihanna’s milestone 50th Hot 100 hit. "Work" debuts at No. 1 on Digital Songs (126,000 sold in its first week; the song sold that sum in just more than a day of the tracking week ending Jan. 28, as, again, it was commercially released at 9 a.m. ET on Jan. 27), marking Rihanna's record-extending 14th No. 1 on the sales chart. "Work" also launches at No. 27 on Radio Songs (44 million in just more than four days of availability), marking her highest career debut on the airplay ranking, and drew 2.2 million streams (in just more than a day, as the Digital Songs and Streaming Songs tracking week runs Friday-Sunday; Radio Songs covers Monday-Sunday each week). NO. 1 ON HOT R&B/HIP-HOP SONGS: "Work" crashes in at No. 1 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, landing Rihanna her fifth chart-topper on the list and Drake his 14th. Rihanna previously hit No. 1 with "FourFiveSeconds" (in 2015, with Kanye West and Paul McCartney), "The Monster" (2013; Eminem featuring Rihanna), "Diamonds" (2012) and "Take a Bow" (2008). "Work" is her second single to debut at No. 1, and her first as a lead act, following "The Monster." The No. 1 debut of "Work" is driven by its handsome sales and airplay start. It enters at No. 1 R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Songs and No. 15 on R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay (her highest debut ever). "Work" also logs Rihanna her 16th top 10 effort on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. She first visited the region with "Umbrella," which peaked at No. 4 on July 14, 2007.

'Work' has the lowest H100 point total for a top 10 song I've seen since keeping track last year. right? less than 18k.

Just noticed What Do You Mean fell out of the top 10. Also, they've increased digital sales and lowered streaming songs.
